This is a great spot for a family trip. We had one of the caboose cabins with a loft for the kids. Cozy, nice kitchen setup and furnishings. The staff is outstanding and was wonderful to deal with at every interaction. There were some minor maintenance issues and if you are distracted by them, you may have a different experience, but very chill place and super close to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. We’d happily book again! Thanks Fireside!

Property's Favorite Review
We stayed in one of the "wedge cabins" for four nights. The resort consists of a group of these cabins at the front of the property and conventional RV spots at the back. Its only real "resort" amenity is an outdoor hut tub, but the place does not represent itself to be anything more elaborate, so that did not surprise or disappoint us. The resort is located in between Wilson and Teton Village, the latter being the cluster of condos and hotels at the base of the Jackson Hole ski resort. It's about a five-minute drive to either one. There is a nice bike trail across from the resort that goes up to Teton Village and that also connects with Jackson about seven miles away. Except for one restaurant that is a block away, there are no nearby restaurants or shops within walking distance. The closest grocery, a small high-end place, is about 3/4 mile away. The nearest true supermarket is about five miles away. Same with gas stations. There is a nearby stop for the regional free bus system. The cabins are small, with a front room that combines a living room and a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower (but no tub) and a bedroom with a king-sized bed. The bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the cabin with a sliding door. There is no dining area in the cabin, although there is a small elevated front porch with a picnic table and small propane grill. Overall, the interior is nat much larger than a typical hotel room, but it is organized artfully to make maximum use of the small area. Each cabin also gets an outdoor fire pit, and the resort provides a "starter" set of firewood. We found the cabins to be quite functional and more than adequate for our needs. They are well-insulated, so they retain the cool of the morning hours all day. They incorporate nice sound insulation as well, so that they remain quiet all night even though the cabins sit close to each other. We got a good night's sleep every night. Each cabin has reliable, speedy wireless internet and also cable TV. Bathrooms have nice linens and toiletries. The resort identifies itself as pet-friendly. We brought our dog. It worked quite well for him. If you don't mind driving to whatever you came to the area to visit, these cabins provide a nice base camp. The rates are very high, but in line with the regional market rates.

Pictures are deceiving for RV users. The entrance is lined with what looks like nice little cabins. They might be 4-5 stars?? The RV park is a 3-star at best. It costs $150 a night and is listed as upscale parking. It is dirty, the roads around the park are terrible, the sites and old and not very well taken care of. You lay your water hose over the top of the system dump, the electric panel was falling off the box, etc. If your Rving don't let the term Upscale resort influence you. It is far from it for $150. Nice quiet location, minutes to JH and the airport. The staff was very professional

Great fun. the cabin was a fun place to visit the Tetons in. we had two couples. we only had one bedroom and one bathroom. but the pullout couch was comfortable. there was a bathroom building right near the cabin. it had multiple private rooms with toliet, sink and shower. so having one bathroom was not an issue. staff was very friendly and helpful. would stay there again

We stayed in the RV portion with our 5th wheel. This property is really run down, Weeds in some areas 2 feet tall, discarded machinery, items in the weeds. No pet area, just swampy weeds. The site they put us in had a large hole filled with water, we were not able to open any of our awnings because of tree limbs in the way. We were REALLY disappointed in the property.

Hi Rochelle, I regret that your experience with us did not align with your expectations. With all the rain we've been getting it's been hard to keep up with the lawn maintenance. We are activley working on getting things cleaned up as we speak!

Lady of the desk was very nice and helpful. She told me that they were full but she found me a spot. I was only supposed to stay in Jackson for a few days, but I stayed there for a few weeks. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and it was very close to the mountains and downtown. Very convenient.

Wonderful place to stay in Jackson Hole! They are actually between Jackson and Teton Village! Nice cozy cabins to relax in. Everything about it is wonderful! Much better then staying in a hotel! Highly recommend! Very well insulated from the cold. Got down to minus 20 degrees but still very comfortable inside.

My family stayed in a Wedge Cabin for a week in early October. We saw a cow moose and her calf almost every morning from our front porch! The cabin was big enough for all four of us and had everything we needed for a great week. Will DEFINITELY return to the Fireside Resort again.

Staying in the Rv park. The sights are relatively level but not well maintained. Some are permanently out of service which helps for exrta room parking. Very little views of the mountains from the campground. For over $100 a night this place should be paved and have concrete pads, not rocks. Friendly people but wouldn't stay here again!!

Loved this location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Spots were a little small but we never felt like we didn’t have enough room or privacy. Bathrooms were fantastic. We would stay here again just for the bathrooms. Great location for Jackson, Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park.
