Wonderful place to stay in Jackson Hole! They are actually between Jackson and Teton Village! Nice cozy cabins to relax in. Everything about it is wonderful! Much better then staying in a hotel! Highly recommend! Very well insulated from the cold. Got down to minus 20 degrees but still very comfortable inside.
We stayed in one of the "wedge cabins" for four nights. The resort consists of a group of these cabins at the front of the property and conventional RV spots at the back. Its only real "resort" amenity is an outdoor hut tub, but the place does not represent itself to be anything more elaborate, so that did not surprise or disappoint us. The resort is located in between Wilson and Teton Village, the latter being the cluster of condos and hotels at the base of the Jackson Hole ski resort. It's about a five-minute drive to either one. There is a nice bike trail across from the resort that goes up to Teton Village and that also connects with Jackson about seven miles away. Except for one restaurant that is a block away, there are no nearby restaurants or shops within walking distance. The closest grocery, a small high-end place, is about 3/4 mile away. The nearest true supermarket is about five miles away. Same with gas stations. There is a nearby stop for the regional free bus system. The cabins are small, with a front room that combines a living room and a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower (but no tub) and a bedroom with a king-sized bed. The bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the cabin with a sliding door. There is no dining area in the cabin, although there is a small elevated front porch with a picnic table and small propane grill. Overall, the interior is nat much larger than a typical hotel room, but it is organized artfully to make maximum use of the small area. Each cabin also gets an outdoor fire pit, and the resort provides a "starter" set of firewood. We found the cabins to be quite functional and more than adequate for our needs. They are well-insulated, so they retain the cool of the morning hours all day. They incorporate nice sound insulation as well, so that they remain quiet all night even though the cabins sit close to each other. We got a good night's sleep every night. Each cabin has reliable, speedy wireless internet and also cable TV. Bathrooms have nice linens and toiletries. The resort identifies itself as pet-friendly. We brought our dog. It worked quite well for him. If you don't mind driving to whatever you came to the area to visit, these cabins provide a nice base camp. The rates are very high, but in line with the regional market rates.…
My family stayed in a Wedge Cabin for a week in early October. We saw a cow moose and her calf almost every morning from our front porch! The cabin was big enough for all four of us and had everything we needed for a great week. Will DEFINITELY return to the Fireside Resort again.
Staying in the Rv park. The sights are relatively level but not well maintained. Some are permanently out of service which helps for exrta room parking. Very little views of the mountains from the campground. For over $100 a night this place should be paved and have concrete pads, not rocks. Friendly people but wouldn't stay here again!!
Loved this location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Spots were a little small but we never felt like we didn’t have enough room or privacy. Bathrooms were fantastic. We would stay here again just for the bathrooms. Great location for Jackson, Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park.
My husband and I, along with our little dog drove to the Teton area meeting up with other family members who flew into SLC and Idaho Falls airports. We wanted to spend time in the Jackson Hole area, but away from the busy downtown and we found the perfect place at Fireside Resort! The cabins were awesome…comfortable beds and cozy fireplace! It was so fun being able to sit by our own outdoor fire pit with family members roasting marshmallows! The resort’s concierge Kelly was awesome giving us activity suggestions and even booking them for us. Kelly’s follow up was perfect to give us reminders and to keep us on track so we were prepared for each activity. I would highly recommend Fireside Resort and using Kelly for booking your activities!
This is the 2nd time we have stayed on the property...we adore these little cabins...they come equipped with everything you need...the property is quiet and filled with families. It's super clean and has a relaxing ambience. The store on site has pretty much whatever you might need... My only suggestion is ceiling fans...in the summer it is warm when you close your door for the night. Our portable fan they had broke and the backup didn't work either. During the day or awake hours the breeze was perfect.
My husband and I stayed at the Fireside Resort for our honeymoon. It was a quiet, cozy, and comfortable experience. They provide basic necessities in your cabin such as dish soap, cookware, coffee, and toiletries. They also provided firewood for the personal fire pit outside of our cabin. It was clean and nicely decorated. We were about a 10 minute drive from Teton Village and about a 15 minute drive from downtown Jackson Town Square. It is a wonderful location. There is a hot tub on the property which we did not use during our stay, but it was a nice added amenity. The cabins were well built and the heat and fireplace kept us nice and warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Fireside Resort to anyone, and we will definitely be back’
This was different from every other place we've stayed. The tiny house allows you to have some solitude, as well as a kitchen and separate living area. We stayed three nights, but if we go back to that area, we will stay there for the full trip. It is close and convenient to the wildlife, the park and town. Treat yourself.
We really wanted to love this place. The "tiny house" style cabins are very cute and the photos look great. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and can only give it a tepid recommendation. Although the "Wedge" cabin we had was cute, had a great bed, and was stylish, there are issues that anyone booking here should know about. First, there is almost no privacy, at least in the Wedge cabins section. They are set so close together, that you can see people in their bathrooms if they don't completely close the window. The other problem is the noise. The main road in front of the Wedge cabins is also the access road for RVs to the campground site located at the resort. As a result, there is a nearly constant stream of trucks and campers going by at all hours. For the price, I definitely would not stay here again. If you don't mind the noise and lack of privacy, the cabins are nice. There is a nice laundry and helpful staff. As for us, we won't be returning.…
