We rented a tiny house for 9 days to do day hikes & loved it. We were able to barbeque at night after hikes. Perfect spot for us to avoid Jackson Hole traffic & we went on Moose Road directly to Tetons to hike. Saw lots of animals, young Grizzly, Elk, Moose 2 snakes, Black Bear, and Pica. Hike to Phelps Lake is nearby and worth it.

We feel so lucky to have found this gem. After quite a bit of searching, we decided to book at Fireside Resort. The cabins just looked so cute, cozy and welcoming from the photos and, to top it off, offered a 20% discount to Ikon Pass holders! We also liked the fact that the cabins didn't share walls, so we wouldn't have to worry about hearing neighbors like you would in a normal hotel situation. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The cabins are amazing and so roomy on the inside, even though they look small on the outside. Having a full living room, fireplace, bathroom and bedroom (with a super cozy bed) and a mostly full kitchen was just fantastic. And all the windows and ability to let so much light in was wonderful. Parking is super easy and it's great to have a deck and picnic table for loading/unloading. Since it was winter, we didn't spend too much time outside, but how cool to have a nice place to sit and your own personal outdoor fire pit! We also made use of the hot tub and laundry facilities, which was so convenient given we were here the latter part of a week-long trip – we planned ahead and were able to pack less had we not been able to do laundry. We absolutely would love to stay here again. It's perfectly halfway between the town of Jackson and Jackson Hole mountain. It's just a short walk to the bus stop in front of Calico Restaurant and Bar. TIPS FOR SKIERS: We found an excellent walking shortcut to the Calico bus stop by cutting through the neighborhood just to the south of Fireside resort (Hawthorne Ln. to Pizza Ln.). Much better than going out on the main road. Also, the bus fares were confusing, but it is $1 cash each way from Calico to Jackson Hole Mtn. and back. Make sure you have your fare ready. Also, you need to push a button in the bus stop shelter to go either northbound (to mtn) or southbound (to town) so that the bus will know to stop there.

We spent 4 nights in a Wedge Cabin in mid September 2020. Very nice accommodations! Great space for a couple. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this resort. Great access to GTNP and Jackson.

We really enjoyed our stay in the "little cabin" this August. The cabin was small, but very well appointed and was remarkably clever at use of space. Ideal for couple, and a few families had smaller children, and i think there are larger cabins for larger families. As we were spending most of our time hiking and fishing, small was just ok with us! Amazing jump off spot for all our adventures. Lots of light, lots of windows, including a full sliding door to a generous deck. The grounds were well cared for and made for a very charming environment. The cabins are close together, but that adds a bit of community, and it was very quiet at night. They had little white lights on all the trees that made the area charming. Check in/out was a breeze, and hosts were kind, accommodating and super friendly. Little PX for daily needs (toiletries, soda, chips, beer), as well. Great locale for skiing, back road access to NP via Moose entrance, close to Wilson and a quick drive to Jackson. A fantastic visit to one of my favorite spots in US and I will be back. Thanks, Fireside team!

We stayed in the "tiny house" at Fireside Resort. It is just as advertised, a small individual house with a nice bedroom, bathroom, and living area with a kitchenette. It has a small porch in the front and an area on the side with a firepit in front of the parking space. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the space was enough for 2 adults. I think if we had more than that it would be a bit tight. They were able to accommodate us with early check-in. The service was friendly and helpful. The bed was excellent, very comfortable, similar to a luxury hotel. The living space was comfortable and the kitchenette, with its refrigerator and small freezer was perfect for breakfasts, drinks, and the local ice cream. Cooked one evening, the stove was not the easiest, if you plan on cooking a lot it may be a challenge. When we found out the area was in a heat wave (ok, for Jackson, 87 high every day) we worried because the houses do not have AC. However, since the temps fall into the 40s every night, and the house has really high ceilings, it never got even 70 degrees in the house. And with the windows open at night, it got chilly in the morning, great sleeping weather. Great location, a 1 minute drive/15 minute walk to an upscale grocery and Persephone Bakery, best breakfasts and baked goods in the county, based on reviews. Close to Teton Village, the National Park, and 15 minute drive to Jackson. If you are looking for daily housekeeping, personal service 24-7, on-site restaurants, and concierge service, this is not the place, you should stay in a hotel. We wanted to stay away from people due to the COVID issue, we wanted a comfortable and upscale space to be in the evenings, and a place that was convenient to hikes and the park. Fireside Resort was perfect for all of those things.
