My husband and I stayed at the Fireside Resort for our honeymoon. It was a quiet, cozy, and comfortable experience. They provide basic necessities in your cabin such as dish soap, cookware, coffee, and toiletries. They also provided firewood for the personal fire pit outside of our cabin. It was clean and nicely decorated. We were about a 10 minute drive from Teton Village and about a 15 minute drive from downtown Jackson Town Square. It is a wonderful location. There is a hot tub on the property which we did not use during our stay, but it was a nice added amenity. The cabins were well built and the heat and fireplace kept us nice and warm. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Fireside Resort to anyone, and we will definitely be back’
This was different from every other place we've stayed. The tiny house allows you to have some solitude, as well as a kitchen and separate living area. We stayed three nights, but if we go back to that area, we will stay there for the full trip. It is close and convenient to the wildlife, the park and town. Treat yourself.
We really wanted to love this place. The "tiny house" style cabins are very cute and the photos look great. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and can only give it a tepid recommendation. Although the "Wedge" cabin we had was cute, had a great bed, and was stylish, there are issues that anyone booking here should know about. First, there is almost no privacy, at least in the Wedge cabins section. They are set so close together, that you can see people in their bathrooms if they don't completely close the window. The other problem is the noise. The main road in front of the Wedge cabins is also the access road for RVs to the campground site located at the resort. As a result, there is a nearly constant stream of trucks and campers going by at all hours. For the price, I definitely would not stay here again. If you don't mind the noise and lack of privacy, the cabins are nice. There is a nice laundry and helpful staff. As for us, we won't be returning.…
My husband and I stayed in a cabin for 3 nights in January on a ski trip. We spent time at both Jackson Hole Resort and Grand Targhee. The cabins are wonderful with a nice living space in the front that includes a fireplace, a comfortable bed and nice bathroom/shower space. The location is peaceful and nicely placed between the National Park/Ski Resort and downtown Jackson. We will definitely be back!
What a unique property! Had a blast staying in my tiny cabin, it had everything I needed including a free bale of firewood! The cabin was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the property was well-maintained even in the middle of a big snowstorm. My only regret is not being able to stay longer, I will definitely be back!
We rented a tiny house for 9 days to do day hikes & loved it. We were able to barbeque at night after hikes. Perfect spot for us to avoid Jackson Hole traffic & we went on Moose Road directly to Tetons to hike. Saw lots of animals, young Grizzly, Elk, Moose 2 snakes, Black Bear, and Pica. Hike to Phelps Lake is nearby and worth it.
We spent 4 nights in a Wedge Cabin in mid September 2020. Very nice accommodations! Great space for a couple. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this resort. Great access to GTNP and Jackson.
We really enjoyed our stay in the "little cabin" this August. The cabin was small, but very well appointed and was remarkably clever at use of space. Ideal for couple, and a few families had smaller children, and i think there are larger cabins for larger families. As we were spending most of our time hiking and fishing, small was just ok with us! Amazing jump off spot for all our adventures. Lots of light, lots of windows, including a full sliding door to a generous deck. The grounds were well cared for and made for a very charming environment. The cabins are close together, but that adds a bit of community, and it was very quiet at night. They had little white lights on all the trees that made the area charming. Check in/out was a breeze, and hosts were kind, accommodating and super friendly. Little PX for daily needs (toiletries, soda, chips, beer), as well. Great locale for skiing, back road access to NP via Moose entrance, close to Wilson and a quick drive to Jackson. A fantastic visit to one of my favorite spots in US and I will be back. Thanks, Fireside team!…
We stayed in the "tiny house" at Fireside Resort. It is just as advertised, a small individual house with a nice bedroom, bathroom, and living area with a kitchenette. It has a small porch in the front and an area on the side with a firepit in front of the parking space. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the space was enough for 2 adults. I think if we had more than that it would be a bit tight. They were able to accommodate us with early check-in. The service was friendly and helpful. The bed was excellent, very comfortable, similar to a luxury hotel. The living space was comfortable and the kitchenette, with its refrigerator and small freezer was perfect for breakfasts, drinks, and the local ice cream. Cooked one evening, the stove was not the easiest, if you plan on cooking a lot it may be a challenge. When we found out the area was in a heat wave (ok, for Jackson, 87 high every day) we worried because the houses do not have AC. However, since the temps fall into the 40s every night, and the house has really high ceilings, it never got even 70 degrees in the house. And with the windows open at night, it got chilly in the morning, great sleeping weather. Great location, a 1 minute drive/15 minute walk to an upscale grocery and Persephone Bakery, best breakfasts and baked goods in the county, based on reviews. Close to Teton Village, the National Park, and 15 minute drive to Jackson. If you are looking for daily housekeeping, personal service 24-7, on-site restaurants, and concierge service, this is not the place, you should stay in a hotel. We wanted to stay away from people due to the COVID issue, we wanted a comfortable and upscale space to be in the evenings, and a place that was convenient to hikes and the park. Fireside Resort was perfect for all of those things.…
Planned a joint trip with my sister who came in RV. She stayed on RV side. We stayed in the caboose cabin. The upstairs loft was great for my teens (a bit hot in early evening with only a floor fan but they brought a second one). Nice amenities. King bed was great. Clean. Office staff nice. We wanted to stay an extra night but no availability. They provided gas for our grill, firewood for our pit and had ice in the office (2$) for coolers. Great access to all parks and Jackson Hole. Only thing was I wish they had a broom in cabin. You could get housekeeping, but we really didn’t need it. The only other thing would be a fan in the living room as it gets a bit warm during day.
