I had a great one week stay here and enjoyed it very much. The location is close to the East entrance to Yellowstone and in the other direction is close to Cody, Wyoming. I particularly enjoyed the amazing views. My cabin was wonderful. I also enjoyed a great horseback ride through the scenic back of the property. The hosts are amazing people.

Payton and Kate were awesome trail leaders! My family of six came out for horseback riding, not only was it amazingly beautiful, it was such a fun family activity. Is everything you think of when you want to picture trail riding out in the rockies. The horses were well behaved, and easy to control

WOW!! The view alone is worth the stay at this ranch. Our cabin was a welcome break from traveling and staying at Yellowstone properties. We also enjoyed the 2 hour horseback ride through the valley and mountains. Our stay here was our favorite part about our trip to the Yellowstone area. We are so glad we booked 2 nights! I highly recommend Rand Creek for your next trip to Yellowstone.

We enjoyed our stay at Rand Creek Ranch. The photos just do not do this place justice, the views are spectacular. The cabins are cozy and give you a genuine Western feel. They are clean and comfortable. The front porch has plenty of seating, so sit out and gaze at the mountains or stars. Our favorite was the evening bonfire, it was fun to watch the sun set and watch the kids play around the campfire. This is not meant to be negative, but as an FYI they do not provide the breakfast that many reviews raved on. I wish we would have known, as I had four hungry kids and no breakfast the first morning. All other hotels served breakfast on our trip in WY, so this was odd to us. They also do not provide a hair dryer or toaster. However, this had little to no effect on our time in Cody, the weather is great, the location is about an hour from sights in Yellowstone and definitely beats the congestion of staying in the park! Cody is about 20 minutes away, so an easy drive if you need anything. I recommend the horse ride at the ranch, the wrangles were very kind and patient. The rodeo, the dam and Old Town are definitely worth stopping for. It’s a great place, we highly recommend it!

Glad you enjoyed your stay. As with many businesses we had to change some things during the pandemic. We had taken off the breakfast basket on all of our sites this winter. Sometimes I have no control over cache, cookies etc for certain sites. We do have hair dryers, you just have to ask for one. We had them disappearing. We have traveled during the pandemic and many places had to change the way they did breakfast if at all. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with 2 couples in September. The owners were great and the ranch was just off the main highway so easy to find. It's a convenient destination close to Cody and close to the East Yellowstone entrance. The cabins were decent size and just what we needed. The bathroom is not big so could be challenging if there are a lot of women in your group :) The beds were comfortable. There is no TV and you'll likely not have much for cellular connection unless you sit by the wi-fi extender which is on the front porch. The delivered morning breakfast was a nice treat. We took a short hike behind the ranch into the foothills in the early evening. We also used the gas grill at the picnic/firepit area. The refrigerator is good sized and there is a coffee maker & microwave but you will have to grill for meals (or make cold sandwiches). The views are incredible!

Whiskey Creek cabin # 8 was perfect for my husband and me to relax in a spacious place with awesome mountain views. The kitchen was adequate for quick microwave meals. Had I known to bring paper plates and plastic utensils I would've been more prepared for the lack of kitchen supplies but it is understandable since no cooking is allowed in the cabin. We appreciated the full size fridge. We were supplied with the utensils upon request. The cabin was clean and the bedding comfy. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful couple of hours on the trail with Macy as our guide. She was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly! The scenery was absolutely beautiful! A lone coyote was seen watching from the mountainside. Would like to return and go on a full day ride to the top of the table. I would recommend Rand Creek to anyone traveling in the area. The girls will take great care of you! Thank ya'll very much!

This place is awesome. My family and I loved staying here in the Elkhorn cabin. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights and had time to walk the trail behind the ranch. A shorter drive to the East entrance of Yellowstone than staying in Cody and more peace and quiet! The views from every window in the cabin are wonderful. It was clean and cozy. The kids loved seeing the horses and the ranch dogs. We will be back as soon as they are old enough to do a trail ride! The owners are very hands on and so nice and thoughtful. They make you feel like family. So thankful they shared their beautiful ranch with us! The breakfast baskets delivered each morning are such a nice touch. We had to head out early our last morning and they went ahead and delivered the night before. That was so very nice and so appreciated by us! We will be back and pass this place along to others!
