Only one night here on our way to Yellowstone from Salt Lake City. Good decision by us to have selected Cabin Creek! Love that we had our own cabin (room for 4, could get an extra person on the couch if necessary) with a small kitchen. Very comfortable beds, quiet (even though on main road) = excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was awesome! Not just market purchased muffins, breads, etc but freshly made breakfast items. Baked eggs (hash), waffles, pancakes... Yummmmmmmm! Kitchen/reception staff (owner's? family?) were just as awesome. Made for a smooth check in/check out.
We really liked this place because each guest has their own individual cabin. The property looks pretty much as it does in the photos. We had a cabin with a HUGE Jacuzzi tub in it. My husband and I would use it every night after we got back from exploring and hiking. The bed was very comfortable, and the cabin had all the amenites we could need. The only problem with this property was the promised breakfast every morning. Unfortunantely, protein was non existent, so we went in to town for breakfast. This was disappointing as we would have liked to eat on the property and then head out for the day. All in all, it was a great place to stay. ( We actually stayed at this property during September 2018.)
You've got to spend at least one night here if you're traveling to Grand Titon or Yellowstone. This is a small family owned and operated facility. The accomodations are individual small log cabins. We stayed in the "Bear Den", which was wonderful. The spacious 1-room building had a king size bed, large leather and cloth sofa, electric fireplace, air conditioning, in-the-wall propane heater, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, bar table with bar stools, sink, and bathroom with a jetted Jacuzzi tub!!! All this for $95. Breakfast is included and served in the main office, which is a really gorgeous log cabin. This is a must do while traveling. Very clean, quiet and romantic. Enjoy!
We enjoyed a great night at CCI. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we had during a 3 week road trip. The staff is very friendly and they actually prepare the food including homemade cinnamon rolls! It's a shame we couldn't have a CCI available every where on our journey! If you are stopping anywhere near Thayne, this place is worth going a little out of the way for. Be sure to allow a couple of daylight hours to visit the Intermittent Spring and Canyon.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Cabin Creek Inn recently. The rooms were spotless. The tile, tub, and flooring looked brand new, and the beds were comfortable. There is a complimentary breakfast with a good selection of foods. We stayed in a cabin one night and in " the bunkhouse" the next because there were no other cabins available the second night. The bunkhouse is larger and has two separate bedrooms, a full-size refrigerator, a lovely shower and large jetted tub. It was very nice and we enjoyed our stay at Cabin Creek Inn. I would highly recommend this. There is a grocery store across the street, but the Inn has a few reasonably priced snacks and even laundry soap and a few necessities. Thanks for a great stay!
