If you are looking for a quality spa experience this clearly is a spa to avoid. To be clear my comments are not a reflection on the masseuse; the massage was professional. The facility and its management leave an awful lot to be desired. We arrived on time and when we asked how to find the spa were not given clear directions by the desk to a well worn facility in dire need of a remodel. The women’s and men’s locker room were unattended, and there were no, -0-, amenities, not even slippers which had to be requested. The robe had to be searched for in the men’s locker but was available in the women’s locker room. There was soap and shampoo in the showers but that was it. The heat in the lady’s locker was well over 80 degrees and we were told that the hotel was going to fix it. --- No way to cool down. So, if you want to spend $500 for two massages (without tip) go for it. FYI, I left my card and asked that I be called by the hotel/spa’s general manager who has not picked up the phone. This after I asked to see her. ---- Sorry to be so negative but had to share my opinion.

We had a reservation issue as we needed a ADA bathroom, the staff immediately took care of us and upgraded my folks so they could get that bathroom. Very kind staff from the front desk to the bellhop. The Gamefish restaurant was closed for the season so we went to the Mangy Moose for dinner. The Waygu burger was the least expensive item at $22 and l‘ve had better Burgers from McDonald’s for $5. But the stay at SRL was great!

We stayed at the Snake River for the first week of April, hotel is nice but it shows the years of service, it has a good ski rental and concierge service, our room which looked to the front of the hotel was noisy in the morning and the extra payment for the balcony was no a smart choice, balcony was useless and even found people on it one afternoon due to the fact it has stairs leading to the first floor Breakfast was a huge disappointment, happy hour was just ok, restaurant se ice was good Overall for location and price it was a goood choice

another great stay at snake river lodge .....the location is amazing , the staff is friendly (especially Teresa and Tania) and the snow was outrageous stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with the little kids and the older kids stayed in a regular hotel room - both were spacious and clean ps: we went to jackson hole in February and stayed in the town of Jackson to try something new- never again ---if you are skiing, being on the mountain is the only way to go !

We had a fantastic first stay at Snake River. The indoor/outdoor pool was magical to swim in out in the snowfall! We loved relaxing in both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. We also had a fabulous time in the Spa for a deep tissue massage and relaxation in their spa room offerings including a rain shower, hot tub, steam room and sauna. The hotel log cabin/ western ambiance really made the experience special. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again!

While the hotel is beautiful when you enter you don’t get what you pay for. The only good was the beauty of the lobby and the complimentary skier snack in the late afternoon. Everything else was extremely disappointing. The rooms are not quiet and stink. My neighbors were screaming across their room early in the morning 545am. I moved to another room & the next room was extremely loud too. As soon as I moved my belongings (on my own) I realized that I had left my watch in my old room. I attempted to recover it & found my key didn't work. I called the front desk and asked them to have housekeeping get it for me. I told them it had been on the nightstand. I returned that evening to find that they didn't get it. I asked again for them to get my watch. I waited hours and then followed up. No one recovered the watch. They said it was not in the room. I went outside the door and had my phone ping my watch. It was indeed in the room. I demanded someone bring me to the room to get it and it was in the room (fell off the nightstand and was right next to the bed on the floor). If I had not demanded they bring me to my room my watch never would have been returned. I had extreme difficulty sleeping due to the thin pillows and noise. I knew noise couldn't be fixed so I asked for a firmer pillow. I was told housekeeping would bring it. I waited three hours. No one came. I called again, I was told housekeeping might bring something if they had it. No one came. The next morning I saw housekeeping and asked for a firmer pillow. Within 20 minutes they brought 2 new pillows but they were the exact same thin pillows that were already had on the bed. I was told in the morning there is coffee and light food available complimentary. I went in the morning and there was nothing food wise but the food available for purchase. On Sunday my bed was barely made, pillows were left on the floor, the bed was sloppy and my trash wasn't dumped. The room was never vacuumed the entire time I was there even when I asked for cleaning. The toilet paper holder came apart and instead of housekeeping putting it back together they left it on the floor with toilet paper behind the toilet. Every time I entered my room it smelled like I was entering a ski locker room. It was disgusting. I often opened my window as long as I could tolerate it as it smelled so sour. I should have stayed at a different hotel and certainly will in the future.

This place is terrible!! Do not book. The customer service was non existent, the hotel was old, our first room smelled like dog (and we are dog people), the breakfast buffet is powdered eggs and precooked bacon - all for $25/person, the bar was tiny and terrible service just like the breakfast room. Only 1 day had the apps/cookies in the lobby, coffee they have around the hotel sucks. Would never recommend it. Jackson Hole is over rated - and we’ve been to many resorts. No good Apres options except one place with a DJ on Saturday/Sundays.

My adult siblings and I took our families to Jackson Hole in March of 2023 for a week and lucked into discovering Snake River Lodge. For the skiers, it was ideal - ski on, ski off the mountain. It came with a ski valet team...a gaggle of young people in their 20s who were easy breezy for problems or questions big and small. I rented from the valet and they were flexible and helpful in addressing an injury I developed the first day, trying different boots and conferring with each other about how to address it. The mountain was intense, and coming back after skiing to the amazing indoor/outdoor pool was so relaxing and fun. For the non-skiers, the space is warm and charming, with lots of places to sit, read, eat, and drink. The spa is free to use, and the gym is spotless with a nice view of the mountain. Three in our group had stellar massages. We would meet up in the spa, at the pool, at the bar, or by the fireplace throughout the day. The pool is such a great perk...great for kids and adults, and open into the evening. I brought cross country skis and discovered that the entrance to Teton National Park is a mile down the road. I skied three miles into the park to a lake and made it home before dark (bring water...and bear spray if you once the bears emerge from hibernation). The breakfast had options for everyone. From the breakfast room, we had a great view of the mountains every morning. One night we ordered takeout from Teton Thai, a restaurant about 50 yards away, and ate gathered around the fireplace in the lobby. Ideal family meal. (Teton Thai takes an hour+, be prepared...but worth it) Everyone on staff was warm and helpful. Further proof...one of my kids was sick the whole trip (we took 2 trips to emergent care) and barely left the room, and still said it was a great vacation. The cleaning staff even helped us by setting a specific time to clean every day so we could move the kid to another room so that the room could get cleaned. Skiing is expensive and if you feel like you aren't getting your money's worth, it's hard to enjoy. This trip reminded me how much I love skiing and how happy I am that I can give this opportunity to my kids. We were in great hands at Snake River Lodge. Highly recommend for adults on their own or for families...really hope to return.
