I almost canceled our reservation due to negative reviews I read on TripAdvisor. This hotel is not part of a chain and the personal hospitality that we received was much appreciated. We asked where to buy bear spray and they loaned us a canister for the week, which thankfully we did not have to use. Their staff consisted primarily of young people from Bulgaria who were eager to please and very friendly. An American woman working at the front named Nikki was just as helpful. Our stay included breakfasts, which were delicious and ordered off a menu, not continental. The location is perfect, between Jackson and the south entrance to great Teton national Park. Do not expect an updated high end hotel, but rather a cozy vintage hotel (my family calls me bougie, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay).

You are going to pay a premium price to stay anywhere in Teton Village, and this place is no different. We were there off season and the room was still $340 a night. It is all Bavarian themed and at first glance, it is very charming. At closer inspection, the place shows definite signs of being worn out. The last remodeling they must have done looked nice, but was basically done with inexpensive pine and murals. A lot of what they have in the hotel from doors to fixtures are all old and outdated. The hotel is not ADA compliant. You have to use a set of stairs to reach the elevator on the second floor. The location was exceptional. You looked out the back window of our room and the gondola going up the mountain was right there. We were glad we stayed there. Staying in Jackson is a mess because of the crowds and it was good to be here where there were not that many people. Be aware - I was told the prices double during the "season" and people make their reservations 18 to 24 months in advance. My wife loved the place.

Beautiful location, and super friendly staff. They were more than accommodating. Cut them some slack, a lot of them are training. But they are incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. The room was comfy and cozy and the heater worked very well for this Florida girl! And the best part....THE HOT TUB. Love this place. Would have stayed longer if I wasn’t camping instead!

Very outdated hotel with bitter staff. We paid over $400/night during a lower season ski trip for this hotel. The location is great, right next to the Sky Tram. Everything else was a huge disappointment. Rooms are "historic", aka very outdated. Cleaning was suboptimal (the balcony was full of empty beer bottles when we checked in). Facilities unavailable: hot tub and sauna closed "due to COVID" - even though EVERY OTHER hotel in Teton Village had theirs open! Internet was spotty at best, if you were lucky to even pick up the hotel wifi. Staff overall clearly not enjoying their jobs, some just plain bitter. After spending 5 nights there at this outrageously expensive place, we asked for a 2 hr extension on the checkout time so I can complete a work meeting in the room in a private setting. Mary Pimm at the front desk rudely replied that the only way to do that is to pay $50, despite having a 30% hotel occupancy rate!?! Even after explaining the situation, the answer just got more and more rude. This interaction greatly summed up our experience at this place and left us with a very bitter taste. Will never return to this place.

We stopped in for lunch while skiing. Being familiar with Austrian and Swiss food, we ordered the Gulasch Suppe, a beer, apple strudel and a salad. The soup was ok but not great. The chunk of bread served with it was stale. The $14 salad were a few fork fulls - the smallest salad portion I ate the entire week. The strudel was average. Our server was a delight so thumbs-up to him!
