Detailed Reviews
A nice, friendly park with great owners. But the level sites have the hookups on the wrong side. I don't know why the owners don't reverse the ingress and egress to have the RVs park with the hookups on the correct side.
We used this park as a one-night stop over between the Black Hills and Cody, WY. It had no television of any kind, and so many trees, we couldn't get a satellite signal at all. If we had planned on staying longer than one night, I would have found another park.

Let’s please be clear at the outset that the lovely Ten Broek RV Park is a simple, rustic place and it is absolutely charming. Most guests evidently park RVs there, but Ten Broek also offers a small number of basic log cabins and that’s where I stayed. The cabins are just cabins, with two pairs of bunk beds (great for kids or families on a budget) and a couple of plastic chairs that sit on a small, concrete patio. But, add to that the barrels filled with blooming flowers, the rustling trees, cactus garden, Fritz the big happy German shepherd (he’s the “official greeter”), fast free internet, the exceptionally helpful and welcoming owners, the three-minute walk to the unspeakably cute town itself (don’t miss the excellent 2nd Street Bakery & Coffee House), quiet rural Wyoming nights, the neighboring horse hotel, friendly locals, and you have an absolute winner. There are separate men’s and women’s shower areas and communal bathrooms that were kept extremely clean, and a large laundry area with multiple machines. Ice and a few basic items are available from the office. Drinking water is delicious and comes from an artesian well.
I spent three nights there while filming a documentary about Wyoming. I cooked out every morning and evening, and was sad to leave. A wonderful experience, and a world away from the type of places I usually stay. Bring a good book and leave your urban worries behind.

We made reservations two weeks in advance to stay with kids and horses, and called at 12:30pm on the day we were to arrive to tell Bonnie that we were on our way. She said yes, we're expecting you, come on. Later, we had a blow out on the trailer, had to backtrack at 50mph and find a tire place, change tires, repair fender, and we called to let her know that we couldn't be there until 10pm. Suddenly, she claimed not to have reservations for us and couldn't find her notes. She said that even though she thought she remembered talking to us, she couldn't find her notes where she took our credit card information. That left us with poor kids and horses on the road, tired, and unable to find a place to overnight.

Response from Darrel B, Owner at Ten Sleep RV Park & Cabins & Horse Hotel
Responded Mar 18, 2015
A inquiry, but no confirmation was made. The call at 12:30 for reservations at 6:30 PM was possible without prior commitment. A delay until 10 PM with a new request for 8 separate pens for 8 horses was not possible due to arrival of other guests. It was suggested that accommodations at a near by Fair Grounds might be a better option than 4 more hours on the road with horses.

Our family has done many out West camping - trail rides (Wyoming, North and South Dakota-all over Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa and there is nothing that I can compare this amazing operation that they have going to. I'm not sure what and or why anybody else could say anything negative about them or their business. Our daughters continuously reminisce about our 10 day stay back in 2007. Everyday we went riding with them and we laughed, enjoyed such amazing views and the wonderful experience. Was such a wonderful life experience for all of us!!! Therefore, we were able to finally get back in 2013 and enjoy this wonderful operation once again. We could go one forever about Darryl and Bonnie on the outstanding customer service whether its about the camping or the hospitality provided for us and our horses. Most of all the care for our horses because they were the ones that really did all the work carrying us all around the Big Horns. Once again I would highly recommend them for RV or Horse Hotel stay. I can't wait to get back so shall I say see you two next year.

We took a trip across country in our camper. This was a place we stopped along the way. The whole place smelled like sewer and then as we were making dinner, a truck went around and sprayed insecticide. We weren't told that this was going to be done. There wasn't much privacy in the bathroom-only had a curtain for the stalls. There were two showers and you had to go through the changing area of the first to get to the second. We will NEVER stay there again.

This was the only guest to complain about a sewer smell. Perhaps, their RV toilet needed chemical. Most of our quests are happy that we spray for mosquitos, since West Nile is an issue here. . A schedule is posted in the office and environmentally approved spray is used. .

GOOD: Small town atmosphere, nice owner, dead quiet when no one around, bathrooms have HOT water but very basic but fairly clean.
BAD: We stayed over during the Blue Grass Festival. We were surrounded by drunken, swearing, pregnent, smoking, overweight screaming, teenagers using the "F" word all night, stumbling onto and into our tent.
Wi/Fi only works close to office.

When I was looking on TA for a place to stay this caught my eye because someone said they liked walking downtown for coffee. My kind of place. So, we booked. We LOVED this RV park. Is it fancy, NO but full of character and characters. Daryl the owner such a great guy and works hard to keep the place perfect. Not many spaced but full hookups! Laundry was great and bathrooms good as well. It is two blocks to the two block downtown that is the best. Dirty Sally's is our favorite for gifts, groceries and coffee and ice cream. Nicest staff ever!! If you want a stop with great character, (that includes a trail drive that went right by the RV park) stop here. Don't forget to say hello to Cole Smith at the Ten Sleep brewing company. GREAT BEER!!

First time camping/trail riding in Wyoming. Had a great experience thanks to Darrell and Bonnie. Very accommodating to everything we needed. Our truck broke down on the way out. We got held up for 2 days. Darrell and Bonnie were very understanding and waiting for us when we finally pulled in. Camping area was super clean and well maintained. We have an RV hookup in our trailer so we did not use the bathroom facilities, but our friends said they were very clean. The horses paddock was kept clean. We were able to use their stock trailer so we didn't have to pick up camp each day we went trail riding. Darrell was able to point us to some really incredible trails and a place to go trout fishing. Since the county sprays for mosquitoes, we were able to sit outside without being bothered by bugs. Very enjoyable vacation. We will definitely be back.

WE were very pleased with the location and maintanence of the campground, We enjoyed the shade trees since it was a warm 4th of July weekend. The campground was clean and well maintained. The wi-fi worked well through-out the campground. The town is a true small western town with a nice museum and rodeo ground close to the campground. We will be glad to return to this campground in the future.
