We sure did love the Hideaway. It is so quiet and peaceful, and loaded with authentic personality. From the chairs on your private deck you can see out 50 miles across the plains. Take a hike up to the ridge and you will see even further. The hideaway is a bit rustic and imperfect. If you are looking for a... More

My family spent one night here after sightseeing in the area. The owner was very friendly, and the cabin was nice. We were the only ones there in the early evening, and my kids had a good time running around on the grassy back lawn, and hiking up the hill to a rock formation in front of the cabins. My... More

This place was supposed to be a B&B but turns out they stopped offering breakfast this year...BIG bummer!!! Unfortunately we weren't informed that when we booked this room plus the price didn't change we paid the same price with no breakfast. Ok I can deal with no breakfast, but the room was DUSTY and windows were FILTHY!!!! There were tiny... More

What can i say. It was perfect. Very friendly owners who made a wonderul breakfast! The cabin is just awesome, the beds perfect, the location perfect. We wished we could have stayed much much longer. One suggestion, dont forget to print out the directions, we didnt and had a hell of a time finding the place ;-) A friendly woman... More

Thank you all for the wonderful reviews. This is to let you know we are winding down our business career...this year we are renting out the cabins only. We are not serving breakfast. This will be our last year in operation. We are retiring and plan on spending a lot of our time traveling. Thank you to all of our... More

We stayed just one night - wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the 2-room cabin. It is clean and comfy. Breakfast was wonderful and a unique experience. The only down was no air conditioning - we were there during an unusually hot time, but there were a couple of fans. Definitely recommend!

Our family of 5 stayed in the 2 room cabin and had plenty of room. The little girls loved it and wanted to stay longer. We enjoyed walking around the cabin in the evening and the morning and saw wild turkeys crossing the road as we drove to dinner. We saw deer in the morning outside the cabin. Breakfast was... More

My husband, toddler and I stayed at Sundance Mountain Hideaway en route to Jackson Hole from Minnesota. Our experience there exceeded our expectations by far! The cabin was comfortable, clean, and absolutely superb. The scenery was gorgeous and provided an area for some small hikes before bedtime. Breakfast was extremely tasteful, and offered a variety that even my toddler devoured.... More

The Sundance Mtn. HideAway is a perfect getaway. The cabins were cozy and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. Helen was a perfect host with great information on local and nearby attractions and restaurants. Rain on the metal roof was a bonus!

What a great place. Helen and Jay are are wonderful hosts, the breakfast are delish, and the cabins are the perfect blend of comfort and rustic. The location is excelllent for accessing the tons of must-do's in the area -- Devils Tower, Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument, the Black Hills, and even the Badlands (if you... More

Beautiful cabin, wonderful hostess. A mixup caused us to stay only one night here, instead of the two we had planned. Our loss, in more than financial ways! Helen's breakfast was to die for. Only the manners my mother taught me kept me from making a pig of myself! We'll definitely be back for another stay, and a longer one... More
