After reading some reviews I was a bit hesitant to book here but did it anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. My room was updated. Bathroom was clean. Bed felt like memory foam. My complaints are that the curtains did a very poor job of keeping out light and it was a bit noisy. I could hear the people above me walking, I was next to the stairs so I heard every time someone walked up/down, and there was some train noise. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

For the budget conscious traveler the Trails End Motel hits the spot. This motel does earn its 3.5 stars. The rooms are spartan and reminiscent of the motel rooms from the 1950s and 1960s. That being said the rooms have been renovated and are clean. There are two downsides to the motel. The first is how small the showers are. If you are a bit bigger the shower size could be a dealbreaker. The second is the proximity to the train lines going through. This didn't bother me, but it might some. Overall I would recommend this motel for the budget conscious.

Family stayed here and must have been an addition from an old apartment. It was very spacious and everthing worked. If you are expecting 5 star hotel don't book here but if you want a nice comfortable place that is cheap then this is it. No Continental Breakfast due to covid

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Terrible customer service! Clerks were more worried about hanging out at the bar across the street from the motel and Getting drunk. As a matter of fact I truly believe they were drunk when they checked us in. The carpet has huge stains all over it. When my husband tried to plug in his breathing machine so we could get a few hours of sleep after a 15 hour drive on vacation and none of the power outlets worked. He cannot sleep with out that machine so he went and asked them for a n extension cord and they said no so I said we want a refund due to a breach of contract and they said we are not entitled to a a refund. There were no other rooms available at any other hotel or motel for hundreds of miles so I ended up driving all night.

It was like a bad date with someone you met on the internet, did not look like the pictures, you wanted to leave as soon as you got there. There were peanuts scattered on the bed. No hair drier very hot heat lamp in bathroom, noisy plumbing, faulty coffee maker and rooms are old and dark. Not worth the money

Had a king room. Definitely not the king in the pictures on this website. Room was old and smelled like urine and Febreeze. Their attempts at upgrading by redoing shower tile was lame. Light bulbs out. Crappy paint. I wasn't sure the sheets had been changed from last occupant. Soft bed. Train tracks about 75 yards away. Plus side was they take pets. The restaurant looked nice. Didn't eat there. Gal at front desk was nice and seemed genuinely concerned when I told her about the nasty room. Breakfast was ok. Continental breakfast is free. If you want a hot breakfast you order from menu and pay. If I'd paid $50 I would say I got what I paid for but I paid $100 for this crappy room. After we went to bed someone tried to come in our room. Didn't feel comfortable the rest of the night. Go elsewhere for that kind of money.

While this motel is cheaper than most the other lodging in Sheridan, If I had to do it again I would stop at Buffalo instead. This room was filthy, something had been spilled on the inside of the door and had not been vacuumed. Mildew was all over the bathroom, the fan was noisy and didn't work well. The toilet was extremely loud and literally took over 2 minutes to fill. Our neighbors rooms were the same way...we could hear them every time they flushed. Had we not been driving all day and arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, we would have left and went somewhere else.

Room hard to find with no explanation for desk help. Smell in hallway and room were musty moldy smell. Bar food and help we're excellent but loud drunks made meal difficult. Noise from room above was constant all night long. Train and leaky faucets made it difficult to sleep on a great comfy bed.

Was thinking that this quaint place would be a fun relaxing motel for the middle of our trip. The staff was not very good, the room was not very nice or clean, and it wasn´t what the pictures made it to look like. Stay away
