We arrived, having made tenting reservations, ahead of a significant storm. The VERY KIND people at this KOA made arrangements for us to upgrade to heated cabins (thankfully, as it snowed all night) with no up charge, out of respect to the fact that we were a school group and traveling on a school budget. We stay at this KOA every time we come to town on a science trip around the state, and it is clean, comfortable and the hosts couldn't be more welcoming. I recommend it highly!!

Adequate space to maneuver big rigs. Hook up good. End site with privacy fence. Great for the dogs. Went in dog park once. Lots of holes and animal droppings. Would take dogs back in park for those reasons. Recent heavy rain made whole campground muddy. No grass. All dirt, sand and pebbles. Restrooms heated and ample shower space. Work out room with 3 key pieces of fitness equipment. Nice. Easy off/on from highway. Quiet.

Arrived late but there was a great young man there, like a scout, that was very helpful and showed us the check in sheet on the board and pointed us to our spot. easy pull through, although it wasnt until i read the reviews that we noted its two way parking. no sewer hook up, only electricity and water, which was all we needed. Shower rooms were large and clean. I wish they had a code on them as its a little unnerving being in there alone late at night and right off the interstate. My husband sat outside until i was done. Not much on that side of town, so we were able to order a pizza from Dominoes and they did deliver to the park, which was also helpful so we didnt have to unhook and go look for someplace to eat. I am aware the park had deluxe sites with fencing and perhaps grass, we did not need. It is gravel and not paved and not totally level, but it did for the the night for $45.00 and off we went again in the morning. Good place to stay if you are going that way.

Let me start off saying that generally, we are not fans of KOAs, but this one is the exception. We are tent campers and found this KOA to be respectful of that. The tent area is away from the RVs in their own fenced in spots. The sites are clean and quite adequate for a three person tent (in our case, two people and one dog). Even had a tiny tree for a little shade. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in off-leash dog park, which was also well maintained. Only stayed here one night and found staff to be very helpful, in a big way. I'd left my keys in the car ignition; the battery was totally drained. Staff members came over with cables and a portable charger, got the car charged, and with a no big deal, glad to help attitude. Couldn't ask for nicer people.

We stayed for 1 night during our road trip. On this route, there are not many choices of nice RV campgrounds. I checked the website, and it appeared to be "Ok". The staff was very helpful at check in. When we arrived at our pull through spot, I was disappointed to find that all the spots including ours, was gravel with no grassy spots anywhere! Not my favorite type of camping..... Too dusty! Since it was only 1 night, we can deal with it..... The cost was $ 52.00 per night..... REALLY!! I paid that to stay in Las Vegas on our way, in which we had a pull through on a cement pad and plenty of grass everywhere and bar and pool.... I felt this was over priced for the type of camping space...
