This is a belated review from my stay at the key motel in Rawlings, Wy. Driving back to ohio from oregon the weather got so bad they closed the hwy. It was late and I went back one exit and drove past the motels that had the best locations figuring they would be more exspensive. I ended up going to... More

Stepping into the Rawlins Western Lodge was like a step back in time with the wonderful western art on the walls, a grandfather type clock in the hall and the wooden stairway to the second floor. Our room was very clean and done in western decor and furniture. The old-fashioned love seat in our room was a treat. The bed... More

It might be a little old fashioned and still uses a room key 🔑, but the price was right and everything was great. My only complaint was that when we stayed in room 108, there must have been a 300 lb. gorilla staying above us. We didn't hear it in the main part of the room. It was only in... More

Need a place to stop and sleep? This is the place. Made reservation over the phone and the owner, Mike, took my name and said he would hold the room. No credit card required. Room was large and comfortable with a couch (additional fold- out bed) refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. Kuireg machine in lobby for coffee. Be sure... More

We will stay here again. We decided to try this place on a whim and are glad we did. There is nothing fancy or grand. It is very quiet. Clean. A bit outdated. The owner was pleasant and personable. There is a personal touch of old west. We had a faucet break and he was right there to repair. The... More

Yes, it's a little old and doesn't look like a fancy hotel. It isn't, but the staffers are friendly and helpful (offering ice for our cooler and a hair dryer) and the rooms are squeaky clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Easy to find, great stopping spot before heading to the Tetons and Yellowstone.

Once again, we were greeted at the front door by the gentleman at the desk. The ambience is true to the good old western days. There is picnic table and a BBQ out in front. It's clean comfortable and quiet. There is a refrigerator in the room with a one cup coffee maker a few snacks and a microwave in... More

Thanks for being a returning customer. It is the ultimate complement. We get many return customers. We also get many guests saying they will definitely stay with us again the next time they pass through town. Additionally we have regular guest that stay with us when their business brings them to town. See you again on your third time around. More

Beautiful room 102 as seen in listing photo. TV was a challenge to use but all okay. Fine collection of western art on display in room and halls. Very hospitable in a style not often seen anymore and a welcome change from corporate manners.

This is a great little place that is very comfortable, quite and well decorated in a western style, and John is very pleasant host. Room has a very comfortable bed, fridge etc. highly recommended over the vanilla chains. Price was also the best in town. Can't beat the value and experience.

We've been on a 5 week road trip, staying mainly at chain motels. This locally owned motel was a refreshingly simple, personable change! Wonderfully comfortable bed, non-"chain" furniture, very clean, and very relaxed style. We really enjoyed our brief stay and wished we could add a day just because it was so relaxed and friendly!
