Beautifully updated room with a fireplace and deck overlooking the lake. Extremely comfortable bed and linens. Excellent restaurant. Staff is very accommodating. Kayaks and canoes to take out on the lake at no charge. The resident moose is everywhere. There is no need to leave the property unless you are going into the Tetons.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day. Everything was great!... until we went to return the boat. The staff verbally made us well aware of the low water level of the lake, but when we returned with the boat in the designated area there was no signage warning to lift the engine. To add to matters, the depth finder on the boat we also found not functional. Unfortunately we did damage the prop while docking. I would encourage the resort to provide some extra aid and signage for guests during docking as a courtesy reminder to help prevent an extra $275 in liability for damages.

We loved this place! It is not a fancy, romantic place, but it the view of the lake, the way the entire place was very well-maintained, and the friendly and professional staff made for a fantastic stay at Lakeside Lodge! The cabins are clean and have everything you need including a little fireplace. The area around the cabins overlooking the lake is is quaint and scenic. We brought dinner with us from town and ate it at an outdoor table near the shore. There is a great little gift shop with souvenirs, sodas and other drinks, and free coffee. There are plenty of board games, outdoor games, and old kayaks for guests to use for free. Newer kayaks, SUPs, and hybrids are available for rent for $15/hour. The lake is clear and peaceful. There were several kids running around playing and fishing on the shore, and it was fun to watch them enjoying the outdoors. Our only complaint was that there are sprinklers set on timers to keep the grass nice and green. That is great except that the water hits the porch. Do not leave anything out to dry on the porch, and make sure if you sit on the porch chairs, you are ready to hop up if those sprinklers start! :-) Someone in our party was sitting on the porch reading and was surprised when water from the sprinkler began hitting him. No big deal, but it might be for others, so just be aware. :-)

We stayed in one of the "standard cabins" since those are the ones where pets are allowed. It was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, unlike some dog designated places we've stayed. Our only complaint is that the window shades on one side of the cabin would not lower for privacy. It turned out not to be a big deal since having the windows open and shades up allowed easier lake viewing from inside the cabin. At night we fell asleep to the sound of wind in the Aspens and waves crashing against the lake shore--so relaxing! Each cabin has a covered deck on the lake side and direct access to a rocky beach. Adirondack chairs and picnic tables are provided. Hiking/biking/running trails adjacent to the property allowed us to see moose and other wildlife on our morning runs. The restaurant on the property is only open Thursday through Sunday, so visiting any other days of the week requires a short drive to Pinedale for food. Kayaks, paddleboards, disc golf, and an abundance of board games are available for guests.

We rented kayaks & the really cool hybrid paddle board/kayak for a couple one afternoon. The lake has a beautiful backdrop of blue skies & mountains. It was calm & lovely at first until the strong winds picked up making the picturesque lake look like a rumbling ocean. It was crazy, but still so fun. We ended the day with drinks & apps at the lodge listening to live music. It was a perfect way to spend a late summer afternoon with our family. Thank you!
