Can’t say enough about the friendliness and hospitality of the staff here. Solo hiker was looking for a clean room nice bed and place to prep food for the next few days. Staff went above and beyond helping me and answering any questions I had. Room was stocked with all kitchen supplies I needed and king bed was SUPER comfy. So glad I chose to stay here in Pinedale instead of doubling the price in Jackson!
The kitchenette facilities were very helpful for our very short stay in September. Bath was good. Table and furnishings adequate, but we could have used another chair. We were told that this hotel was built for gas fields workers for their two week work periods. Some workers may be a little hard on the place, and sometimes amenities go missing. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and more than "continental". It was quiet. TV OK. Slight odor from hallway carpet, etc. Very friendly staff.
This place is an incredible bargain. Rooms are huge, well furnished, clean, up to date. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is superb. It is a great jumping-off point for visits to Great Triton Nat. park and Yellowstone coming in from the south. Do not know if we well every be back to the area, but if we do we would not hesitate to stay again.
Room was excellent very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Checking out was fast and easy in the morning. The manager and front desk were very polite and helpful. Very comfortable stay. I did notice when I went to ask for change at front desk later in the evening. I wasn't sure if the lady worked there or not since she was standing by the little store not in a uniform but in a pink shirt/jacket. I looked around a bit to make sure she was the one at the front desk before I asked. Uniforms or name tags would make it easier to know also with the house keepers. We will stay again in the future.
Nice large room with kitchenette, comfortable bed. Large laundry room with reasonable priced machines. Convenient front desk “store”. HOWEVER, poor Internet service! Have to remind-log on constantly. Hard to logon at all at night, when guests really want to logon, due to apparently small bandwidth; very frustrating. Other hotels in the area have superior Internet service!
Very clean and spacious. The front desk personnel was excellent checking in and out. Breakfast is homemade it was fanominal. The house keepers do an excellent job the room was spotless. Full kitchens in room and the laundry room was perfect to sort out dirty laundry and wash everything before heading back to the mountains. Good job High Country Suites. This place was perfect!
We had book this hotel as a stop over before entering Yellowstone. Thank god we only stayed one night. The Hotel is vile. We arrived to be told we had a king room, one King bed for 4 people, I said No I booked 2 Queens, she said well lucky for you we have one left but there will an extra charge! Luckily I had my paperwork with me & when I showed her she agreed not to charge extra.... Why on earth do they think 4 people would book a room with 1 king size bed???? The rooms are horrible, very old, dirty & dated, even though the towels were quite nice! Lots of work men staying at the hotel & when I say work men I do not mean business people I mean Building site workers which would probably be fine if thats what your looking for. A big sign when you enter stating Breakfast was served from 4am til 8am! 8am????? But was told that was extended til 9am, not sure if this was just for the weekend. Would never stay here again.…
New, clean, modern hotel. Staff was very friendly and accomodating when we checked in late at night. The double queen rooms are very spacious with a kitchenette- full size fridge, microwave and stove. The bathroom was clean and had a lot of space. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations! Biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, pancakes, waffles, fruits, the works! The gravy was pretty good and the kitchen attendant was friendly and kept the area cleaned and well stocked! The business center by the lobby had free cappuccinno and coffee and there was snacks and food by the lobby for sale. Again, the staff is very friendly and the premises are clean and made for a great experience!
The hotel itself is great, however when we found a BUG crawling in our bed which looked like a bedbug the staff didn’t seem to care just brushed it off. Had to ask for a new roomm as they didn’t offer
We booked this place as it was the best economical price within the route we were traveling towards the Gran Tetons. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I liked having the kitchen for cooking dinner after being on the road all day. I would stay here again. Plus the drive over to Jackson Hole and the Gran Tetons was a great drive.
