Detailed Reviews
This hotel was the perfect locations where guides could come to pick us up towing float boats for river excursions. Centrally located for all of the popular rivers for fly fishing. Desk staff were outstanding. Rooms were clean.
Daily breakfast room wasn't fancy, but had everything to set us up for the day.

Can’t say enough about the friendliness and hospitality of the staff here. Solo hiker was looking for a clean room nice bed and place to prep food for the next few days. Staff went above and beyond helping me and answering any questions I had. Room was stocked with all kitchen supplies I needed and king bed was SUPER comfy. So glad I chose to stay here in Pinedale instead of doubling the price in Jackson!

Very clean and spacious. The front desk personnel was excellent checking in and out. Breakfast is homemade it was fanominal. The house keepers do an excellent job the room was spotless. Full kitchens in room and the laundry room was perfect to sort out dirty laundry and wash everything before heading back to the mountains. Good job High Country Suites. This place was perfect!

I was in the area for work purposes and chose this place primarily for two reasons. The first was because according to their photos in Trip Advisor and Hotels.com, hot foods items were included as part of their "Breakfast" such as sausages, eggs, biscuits, etc. Turns out that this was not the case, but rather the typical items one would find in other hotels such as cereal. When I asked them about it, they said that due to only two people staying in the hotel, they couldn't justify making the hot items. How disappointing!
The other reason for choosing this place was because they offered a kitchenette. Due to my work schedule, sometimes it is easier for me to bring my own food rather than eat out. So it was very handy to have a fully stocked kitchen to cook in. With that said, some of the dishes were still dirty and looked like they had just been wiped clean instead of washed. Gross!
Other than that, the rest of the place was clean.
Lastly, this place could seriously use an update of their furniture and bedding. The couch sagged, the king-size bed sagged on the edges (so I slept on the high spot in the middle), and the batting in the comforter was clumpy making it not very warm.
I would not recommend this place.

We had book this hotel as a stop over before entering Yellowstone. Thank god we only stayed one night. The Hotel is vile. We arrived to be told we had a king room, one King bed for 4 people, I said No I booked 2 Queens, she said well lucky for you we have one left but there will an extra charge! Luckily I had my paperwork with me & when I showed her she agreed not to charge extra.... Why on earth do they think 4 people would book a room with 1 king size bed???? The rooms are horrible, very old, dirty & dated, even though the towels were quite nice! Lots of work men staying at the hotel & when I say work men I do not mean business people I mean Building site workers which would probably be fine if thats what your looking for. A big sign when you enter stating Breakfast was served from 4am til 8am! 8am????? But was told that was extended til 9am, not sure if this was just for the weekend. Would never stay here again.

The hotel itself is great, however when we found a BUG crawling in our bed which looked like a bedbug the staff didn’t seem to care just brushed it off. Had to ask for a new roomm as they didn’t offer

Room was excellent very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Checking out was fast and easy in the morning. The manager and front desk were very polite and helpful. Very comfortable stay. I did notice when I went to ask for change at front desk later in the evening. I wasn't sure if the lady worked there or not since she was standing by the little store not in a uniform but in a pink shirt/jacket. I looked around a bit to make sure she was the one at the front desk before I asked. Uniforms or name tags would make it easier to know also with the house keepers. We will stay again in the future.

Located in Pinedale, Wyoming, we discovered it three years ago, and now in our third visit for a two months stay, we continue to be delighted. Coming from the 110 degree heat of Arizona we find it so relieving to be in “cool” Wyoming. A convenient, easy drive to Jackson, the Tetons and Yellowstone, it’s a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious with full kitchens at a reasonable price. Come in July and enjoy the July 4th rodeo and their 85th annual Pageant that relives the history of the area, and the Green River Rendezvous. Don’t miss Pinedale’s unique Museum of the Mountain Man.

After driving 13 hours straight, we came in and asked if vacancy and price of room in order to rest our weary eyes... needed to check out our bank info before booking but the cell service had been slow due to the influx of people in town for the eclipse, as a result we had difficulties accessing our bank account information via cellular data. We asked if we could access the wifi while we stood in the lobby, to which the woman rudely replied we could not access the wifi until we booked a room. Thus placing us in a catch 22, couldn't book the room without checking our bank account and we couldn't check our bank account without booking the room. I said to the woman "based on your attitude alone I don't want to stay here". We proceeded out to our newer model Audi and initiated our search for a room again while parked in the lit parking lot. At this point the clerks decided to call the police on us. Apparently in pinedale it is suspicious to look for a room to stay while safely parked. We proceeded to continue to look for a place to stay, we lucked out on the opposite side of the street at the pinedale lodges.
After grabbing a sandwich at the gas station and walking back to the new room at the lovely pinedale lodge (for half the price), three police trucks and an SUV were circled around my vehicle where we were harassed for the better part of of an hour before we were allowed to walk into our new room. This was the rudest welcome to any town I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Not only is this hotel crummy and under repairs, the staff is horrid, suspicious, and apparently are pleased at wasting taxpayers resources for absolutely no reason other than a grudge against regular business. Jokes on them, we got a nicer hotel for half the price across the street, and the gentleman clerk was supremely nice, even gave us a discount for the trouble the other hotel put us through + free wifi. Geeeesh! What a crazy lady!

This hotel is clean and the room spacious, even with the full-sized appliances. The staff was helpful. There are no hairdryers in the bathrooms. I asked at the desk, and they did say they are getting ready for some updates, and gave me a dryer to use. There is no breakfast offered, however plenty of coffee , and coffee maker in the room. If you choose, you could certainly cook something as the kitchen is stocked with dishes, and pans. The price was very reasonable.
