This was our first time a Rivera Lodge after having it recommended to us by several people and we were not disappointed. The rooms have a rustic feel that reminded us of places we stayed as kids with our parents. Everything was neat and clean and comfortable. Breakfast offerings top flight. Emmy is a terrific hostess and makes guests feel like she known them for years and creates an atmosphere of friendliness between guests. We've visit Pinedale frequently and this will definitely be our go-to place in the future!

Lovely vintage creek side cottages. Delicious hot breakfast daily with a view of the creek and wildlife. Hosted by Emmy, who makes you feel at home and is happy to give helpful suggestions for activities in the area. Our favorite place to stay when visiting Pinedale.

Rivera Lodge was the perfect place to stay en route to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. It's clean, in a pretty setting on the creek, close to good eats, and dog friendly! The only cabin available for the day we needed was too big for us, as we are only two people, but it would be perfect for a larger party. I would definitely stay there again.

Super comfortable stay, literally the best customer service I've ever had, an awesome cup of coffee and an even better breakfast. You'd be a fool to stay anywhere else in town. Oh, and pet friendly. Definitely a win. Keep scrolling, there's not a single bad thing to be said about this place

We stayed at the Rivera for one night in early Autumn after driving from Dubois to Pinedale over South Pass. The rooms are unique, quiet and clean; it was a great layout with enough living room space for our 2 Laboradors. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There are lawn chairs out back of the cabins where one can bask in the setting sun, watch the hatch rising from the river and enjoy the birds taking the evening air. At breakfast, guests are welcome to sit around a large, common table getting to know fellow travelers. We like this place - and it's people - a lot. We'll stay here again.

Stopping at the Rivera Lodge is taking a trip back in time, maybe 50 years or so. The cabins along the creek are like the places where you used to stop back in the 1950's when small towns like Pinedale had not all been totally bypassed by the Interstate system.
The cabins are cozy, but spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The small but well-equipped kitchens are totally serviceable with no unnecessary frills.
Just open the back window overlooking the creek and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the fresh, flowing water running down from the Wind River Range.
As others have noted, Emi is very friendly and helpful and takes excellent care of her guests, while Bird (the lodge dog) is always ready for a head-scratch from willing guests.
The Sunday morning campfire breakfast is not to be missed -- Emi cooks up the basics of eggs, pancakes and sausages over an open fire and adds delicacies such as abundant fresh fruits.
Guests dine beside the creek and enjoy the scenery which, on one day in June, included a passing moose.

We spent two nights at Rivera Lodge and found it comfortable, charming, clean, restful. Emi and her laid-back dog, Bird, are a quiet presence: Emi is there when you need her, never intrusive, but ready to help when needed. She advised us on hikes and other attractions and loaned us cans of bear spray that she had on hand. Our room was cozy, immaculate, well-equipped, comfortable. There were little extras (wine glasses, welcoming homemade gingersnaps, for example) that indicate a thoughtfulness that goes beyond the norm. Homemade breakfast was amazing both mornings. There are places to sit in the front room for those who prefer to be alone, and the big kitchen table where we had interesting conversations with other travelers. We want to return!

We found this Bed & Breakfast delightful. We stayed in a cabin with a small kitchen and found it spacious and the bed very comfortable we also had our own deck. Our cabin was very clean and towels were fresh. Crisp cold mountain water comes right out of the faucet! The location is excellent, you are right in town but yet you feel like you are out of town because it is so tranquil at the Riviera. It was an amazingly quite night’s sleep. Pine Creek flows feet from the buildings and the town deer and moose appear to enjoy eating Emi’s flowers out of the flower pots on the deck! We caught them in the act! Last but not least the breakfast that Emi whips up is divine. We had banana cream cheese French toast, bacon, fresh blueberries, honeydew, and strawberries.

Don't miss this delightful place. I was passing through, planning to explore the area a bit. A friend and I came across the Rivera Lodge, which proved to be a trip highlight. This historic, relatively small establishment sits right along a creek and is set back from the highway - meaning it's quieter than most motels I've used. The modest rooms were comfortable. The proprietess was charming, AND each morning she cooked a breakfast (!) that was better than most of the B&Bs I've visited. I appreciated her enthusiasm for the nearby mountains and her help and advice for our hiking. Her partner is an adorable pooch. Oh - and the place it's right next door to the town brewery. :-)
