We loved our stay, Jins and Rachel, and the Pines Country Inn. We stayed in Suite 28, which is like an apartment, with a patio complete with deer roaming on the back yard hill. Everything was very clean, quiet, and with comfortable pillows and mattress. It was easy to take in Mt Rushmore, Crazy horse, and the local New Castle excellent museum and still return for the 2nd nights stay. Good breakfast with fresh banana bread completed the ambiance. This is not a chain, large fancy hotel, but much better, a homestyle atmosphere that is welcoming, clean, quiet, and enjoyable.
This place does not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the most friendly service. The rooms are adorable, charming and quaint. It was so nice talking to owner Jin’s and his family. They even offered to put our motorcycles in their garage. We had our laundry done and when we returned after a day of biking, it was all neatly folded on our bed. We loved staying here and would not hesitate returning. God bless this lovely business.
This little motel was such a wonderful surprise! The rooms were so cozy and welcoming, the beds comfy, and we felt like we were visiting a family member rather than staying in a rented room! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
The Pines Country Inn in Newcastle, WY is the most adorable place we have stayed in on our two week road trip from Oregon. It is quiet, charming, comfortable, very clean and blooming with personality and quaintness! The beds are the most comfortable ones we have slept on in our entire road trip. The owners are wonderful people with integrity and extremely hard working. They maintain the entire adorable place by themselves with the help of their young daughters. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in the area! We definitely plan on visiting again!
This was my second stay at The Pines. There are newer hotels in the area but I promise that none of them are as unique, comfortable or quaint as The Pines. It always feels like I am on vacation even when I am working when I stay there. The owners are always welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Staying at the Pines is like getting a great big hug! Did I mention the beds? Oh my gosh, if I could figure out a way to get one of those big comfortable things into my KIA I would take one home. You will never regret staying at the Pines. It is a great value for the money. It is an experience.
