This is a great addition to accommodations along I80. It had just opened so it is still pretty sparse and dusty. The biggest odd thing was the picnic tables were on the wrong side of the site for every site. They are on the side where you have your utilities, not the side your doors open. Maybe they will change that, as no one wants to eat by their sewer hose, and having the picnic table covered by your awning would be helpful. It was quiet and secure.
Throughout the years my mom's family has stopped and stayed at Little America.. Finally on a trip from WY to UT I was able to say I have been here. I was happily surprised by the cleanliness and style of the rooms. The room and bathroom have a quaint retro style. Even if the style is retro the accommodations are not. Large television screen and a fridge along with soft absorbent towels in the bathroom . The rooms are very comfortable and after a long day of driving, the bed was a welcoming place to sleep. There is like a large walk up eatery, convenience area and my family and I enjoyed it. The food itself was better than I thought it would be and of course you have to get a .75 ice cream cone. Try the french toast for breakfast, much better than most restaurants! The restaurant was Covid-19 compliant and that was welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next trip to WY so I can stay here again.…
I stop at the Hotel Little America in Wyoming and to my surprise the room was spacious and even the bathroom was perfect. I am in a wheelchair and most handicap Hotel rooms are tiny and very expensive. Hotel Little America did not charge extra.
Nice spacious, nostalgic highway hotel room with great grounds and pool. You are not near any options for food other than what Little America offers, and they don't offer much. It's classic place to stay, but because of the current food options I am taking it off my list for future travels.
Large room, comfy bed. Friendly staff. I loved the decor of the room, made me feel like I went back in time but with modern ammenties. I have no complaints on our stay and would definately stay again.
This Little American i9s located on I80 before you reach Evanston Wyoming. We have passed this Motel and truck stop several times without stopping. We decided to stay there and found the rate to a little high for this motel. Was a$120, however, if you purchae $30 of gas at their station, this amount would be deducted from your room rate, making the motel cost $90. We received a pet friendly room and when we enterd the room, it was like going back to the 1950s. Found out later this unit was built in the 1950s and appeared to be no upgrades. The room was small, furniture was not and the carpet was worn and was not clean .The main restaurant has been closed for several years. There is a deli and a small grill in the travel store. Food prices are high limited menu. The lavatory in our room was stopped up and we could not use in. Only postive thing , was that you can park by your room.…
They saved the day (night)! We had a hellish experience with our Penske truck and had to make an emergency stop for the night. The check in lady was super kind. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. They had a playground for the kids. Breakfast sandwiches were amazing! Workers were very friendly. I could not have asked for more!
Large rooms, nice decor, a/c fan very loud but then couldn’t hear any outside noise. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It was a very large complex and nice for vacations, events and such, but we just wanted a room for the night after a long day of driving. There was really no close parking spot by our room, so we had to carry all our stuff a distance. Not too bad if the weather is cooperating.
Returning from an extended trip my wife and I decided to try the hotel at Little America. We opted for a room with two queen beds and were surprised at the size of the room, it was - in my estimation - HUGE! We found the beds very comfortable, overall room was very clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful shower and bathroom accommodations! They do not offer breakfast but the restaurant(s) at the facility do offer good meals at fair prices. Also, we had a sliding glass door in our room which gave us wonderful, fresh cool air all night.
First time out this way. Just to say about the reviews, who cares about resturants or things to do. Review the hotel is what this spot is for. Great stay, clean room, friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was first class. Only negative thing that I have to say is, stay here on a not so popular moment. The parking was not there. Didn't.help that they had construction stuff blocking a couple spots. One spot had a porta potty in it. Other than that great place.
