The Hilton Garden Inn is usually my first choice to stay in Laramie. The staff is friendly & helpful, the beds are very comforable, the hotel is usually immaculate and it is in very close proximity to UW. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was fraught with issues. I neglected to complain or write a negative review until I logged on TA and noticed a theme with several others who had similar complaints. My first issue was my digital key failed to work, so I had to visit the front desk to obtain a physical key card. Secondly, I stayed on the second floor and my room was frigid! I didn't think too much of it upon entering, because I understand a business not wanting to heat empty rooms. Turned up the furnace and it was so obnoxiously loud I could not hear the TV over the roar. Again, no worries, I'll just heat the room while I'm out to dinner. I decided to grab a quick shower to warm up, but alas, no hot water, only lukewarm. Frustrated, I pulled on a heavy sweatshirt and sweatpants and crawled into bed only to find the remnant of someone else's fake fingernail in the bedding. With all the issues, it just seemed overwhelmingly off and I did leave comments for the Hilton on their website. To my complete suprise, I had an email response and apology within an hour from Hilton AND the general manager of the Hilton in Laramie. They were prompt, kind, courteous and made amends...everything you want in a reparation. I am very appreciative of their efforts and will give them another chance, but I did want others to be aware of the current issues and recommend that you reach out to Hilton management if you do have problems.

We intended on staying here for two nights but do to the weather we had to extend a night. We were extremely happy we were at this hotel for the extended stay. The staff were all excellent, especially Emilio. He made sure we had everything we needed. When asked for something he was on it. We had a whirlpool room which helped our tired bones the first night. Then the next days it was great relaxing in it. The rooms are very sound proof!

Responded Mar 8, 2023
Hello Mr. Russell, I am sorry that you we did not meet your expectations during your stay in Laramie. We strive to have a clean, great environment for every guest. We were able to move your rooms, comp your breakfast and we also added one night stay worth of points onto your Hilton Honors account. I have passed this along to our team to make sure this does not happen again. If there is anything else we can do for you at this time, please let us know. Thank you, Marty Schaefer General Manager

I drove up from Denver in a snow storm to work at the University of Wyoming archive. This hotel is walking distance to the campus and located walking distance from multiple restaurants. Great place to be when it is very cold outside.

Lovely staff, comfy bed, and no hot water. 3 nights here over the last 30 days and have had cold showers every time. Take your business elsewhere until management decides hot water is a priority for guests. If they could fix this, the hotel is otherwise comfortable

We come to Wyoming often and typically stay at the holiday inn. This Hilton was suggested by people at the university . Worst stay ever! First the girl at the front desk , long dark hair was rude . Halls on 4th floor were cold and stunk . We get to the room and start to get ready for our event and realize there is no hot water . Called front desk and she says well maintenance is gone if you want a different room come down here bring the keys I’ll make you new ones to a new room. I say no you can come bring them to me since I now have to pack my room . She comes up with an attitude and puts us in the room immediately outside the elevator. Now why? There are plenty of rooms open and that’s where you put us?! We get to the room and it’s 60 degrees. We turn the heater on and it smells horrible. I run downstairs now with 40 minutes to get ready for an event . The manager sees my frustration and apologies and sets us up with a different room down the hall from the elevator. He even says that so he must have realized why the hell would she put us in the room right outside the elevator . This room is cold like the other one , heater barely blowing heat, water in tub and sink barely drain. Housekeeping never came to our room. The next day we go down and ask for towels and the same rude lady with long dark hair gives us one towel and the manager steps in and asked her to give us 2 sets of towels. The final piece was the breakfast there was terrible ! Going forward we will go back to holiday inn . We never had any experiences like this!!!!! Worst stay ever !

We wasted points on this Hilton. We have always been so pleased with Hilton and Hampton. Our bed was so soft you rolled to the middle needs replacing. Breakfast bar was horrible. No sweet rolls, coffee cold, fruit bad. They didn’t keep the bar filled

My daughter and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for the 307 International Film Festival which was screening at Studio City next door. Our room, on the third floor, was clean and quiet. As Hilton Diamond members, we were entitled to a $15/food credit per person per day ($60 total for the two days), so we loaded up with almonds, chips, and drinks for our room.
