We stayed just 1 night in the Mad Carpenter but would have been very happy to stay longer . The accommodation was very clean, the proprietors very welcoming and friendly , the breakfast was healthy and very tasty. The location is about a 10 min walk to downtown

This place is outstanding. I stayed in what they call "The Dollhouse", no dolls, just some of the most unbelieveable wood craftsmanship I have ever seen. Even my son walked in and said "Holy Crap!" All the comforts of home, extremey well kept, modern everything, comfortable, even a game room.. It's also basically across the street from U of W.... More

We followed all the other excellent reviews when we chose the Mad Carpenter Inn, Laramie's only B&B. It is spotlessly clean, located just a few blocks from downtown in a lovely neighborhood adjacent to the University. Your hosts Danny and Lawrence are wonderful-super friendly and helpful. Breakfast cannot be beat-fresh fruit, yogurts, granolas, homemade cobbler, french toast and waffles-and the... More

A wonderful small B&B. Friendly proprietors, very tasty breakfast, very convenient for U Wyoming campus (1 block), short walk to town (1/2 mile), charming rooms (I stayed in the two-story detached room with a wooden spiral staircase), game room with pool and ping-pong and ...

We stayed in the Doll House for a couple nights and were very pleased with our experience! Lawrence and Danny are wonderful hosts and make the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Their are friendly and make wonderful breakfasts :) Located between the University and Downtown, the Inn is conveniently close to everything. The Doll House is my favorite room here... More

This B&B would be great no matter if it was in Italy, France, or Laramie Wyoming. The owners, Lawrence and Danny, are the reason. But it is a uniquely Wyoming place. We stayed in the Whimsy room, which was very clean, tastefully decorated, and large. It was well set up. Lots of plugs for charging, good fast WiFi, clean bathroom... More

We scheduled a recent getaway at the Mad Carpenter Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to visit Laramie and explore the University of Wyoming (from which one of us graduated a long time ago). Our hosts Lawrence and Danny were most warm and welcoming, and shared many fun stories with us over breakfasts. To call the breakfast served at... More

There is not a better place to stay in Laramie! We didn't want to leave The WYO house. Very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Nothing is needed when you stay here. Fluffy towels and room for many. Hope it is available next time we travel to Laramie. Thank you so much!

The house is very beautiful and situated very close to the centre of Laramie. Two of us are vegans and Lawrence and Danny catered wonderfully to vegan and non-vegan for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls and blueberry crumble were brilliant to the extent that I requested a recipe. The house is full of pleasant little touches like chocolates in the rooms,... More

This was by far the nicest stay on our US-travel. The Inn is absolutely wonderful, but what makes it truly enjoyable is the owners Lawrence and Danni! Such nice people and a very warm and cosy feeling. The breakfast accompanied with L&D and other guests was rememberable. This visit will stay forever in our hearts. //Ulf & Bodil from Sweden...
