I stayed 6 days at this little bit of heaven. The Riverside suites were very comfortable and so calming to sit outside on your porch and listen to the river, reading a favorite book or just relaxing! The rides on the ranch were great! I loved the cattle drive. The food was excellent and of great variety. The hospitality of this ranch will have you coming back for more. What a wonderful getaway!

This was my third visit to the ranch for the adults only week and it was as great as ever. Stayed a a river cabin- so peaceful sitting out on the deck at night with a glass of wine with just the sound of the river. The riding is fantastic and the wranglers take care to ensure that everyone has a great time, no matter how good a rider they are when they arrive and you must get up early to see the horses coming in in the morning. The food is plentiful and good. But most importantly Brent, Kari and all the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to ensure that a brilliant time is had by everyone. Indeed, it is so good an experience that my friends and I are already booked for 2021!!

My week at the Vee Bar Guest Ranch (August 18-24, 2019) was like adult summer camp on steroids! Nonstop adventures that included horseback riding, hiking, trapshooting, tubing down the river, team penning and a cattle roundup. I didn’t do the overnight campout but the camp area was very nice and it was a fun time having supper and breakfast there. Other highlights were the wagon ride and the roping demo. It was all a blast! Things I loved about the Vee Bar (in no particular order): 1) the riding program; 2) Ranch managers Kari and Brent, and their adorable children, were very present around the ranch and at activities; 3) the entire staff was very helpful and accommodating from special dietary requests to maintenance issues; 4) staffers take a lot of pictures that are shared with guests; 5) excellent goody bag upon arrival; 6) a farewell party on Friday night was a really nice touch. Cabins were rustic but clean, comfortable and well-stocked with towels. Riverside Suites looked very clean and comfortable and included a washer and dryer in each Suite. Cabins and Suites included refrigerators. Food was good and plentiful. Make sure to hike the Snowies! The scenery was so beautiful I cried. I can’t think of a better way to spend a week and hope to make it back there again!

My family of 5 just returned from a wonderful trip to the VeeBar Ranch, and it could not have been a more special taste of Western ranch life! The best part of VeeBar is the people - the managers, wranglers, activity directors, and everyone at the restaurant and across the property are wonderful. The ranch also attracts a really nice group of guests who are low key and looking to have good family fun! My youngest is 6 years old and he was able to participate in everything - including riding his own horse (Pepperoni!) throughout the week. We are novice riders and still had an incredible time. Highly recommend!

Stayed 8/4 thru 8/9, Riverside Cabin Suite #4, Fantastic. Everyone, and I mean everyone, the Help and the Guests, were wonderful. I thought having "no" TV was going to be a bummer, but I really never missed it. Sitting on the porch listening to the rapids of the stream was more relaxing than TV. The days were filled with fun activities, with the Horse Rides being the most awesome, especially herding the cattle , what an experience. Food was great in all instances. I just can't say enough about the Owners and the entire Staff, nothing was too much to ask of them, and their personalities were out of this world. I don't think I've ever had an experience where everyone was fun to be around. I would recommend this to anyone, experienced or never on a horse. It is my hope to do this again.
