We visited the Alpine house during our trip to the Grand Tetons. The rooms were very sweet and unique. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast each morning was yummy! We will stay here again next time we visit Jackson Hole.

I found this place after a last minute detour to Jackson Hole at the end of my Montana vacation. I got a good deal on Hotels Tonight app, and was happy with my choice. Great price and I found it the perfect location to enjoy another day before going home to the East coast. The place was clean, I found the staff welcoming and I felt comfortable there as a solo female traveler. I was able to park right out front, my room was up one flight of stairs. There's no elevator so I wouldn't recommend this place to someone with mobility issues, as staff was not around to help carry in luggage. I did not realize a cooked breakfast was included until after check in, but was happy with the quality and selection of breakfast. The kitchen staff were EXCELLENT. The common area was relaxing and I felt I could use the different areas to sit, eat, read or just relax. The room was comfortable and I was happy to have the juliet balcony for additional air when needed, I had a loft room, with two beds, the second bed area was lofted and accessible via a ladder. This would be an issue for some but i used the queen bed in the main area and it was perfect. The bathroom was very updated and fantastic. Overall I would absolutely come here again, The location was the biggest selling point but I found the accommodation charming. Enjoy Thai Plate just up the street.

I wish I could give the Alpine Inn a good review but it was not good. I could go into so many details of things that are broken or lacking but overall there doesn't seem to be anyone who cares. The whole place needs updating- even the display books in common area are ripped and beat up. Is there an absentee owner ? At check in the front desk worker was unfriendly and never told me me nothing about parking, bfast etc. Handed me my room key that was it. My friend had a big suitcase and a bad knee and there was no one to help her with her luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor..The whole lobby smelled like natural gas and we told them about it, twice, but the smell was back the next day.. All the windows in public areas stay open all night ( it was 31 degrees)- It seems like no one is in charge to say, ok it is cold now so each night we should close the windows.. The jug of water was never filled... why isnt anyone managing this place? Breakfast crew was great and the food was good -we tipped them everyday. I wouldnt stay again.

Very unhappy with the grand king, described as the most spacious room on the website. At check in I questioned the front desk that we had been given the wrong room. Front desk was busy at the time with young children behind the counter and was not helpful. I let the front desk know that we were unsatisfied at check in, and on check out let the front desk know that I would send Rani an email. Email was sent and has gone unanswered. Hate to give a poor rating to any establishment but here we go. Room #119 was on the third floor and is a standard size room, with one chair and a juliette balcony. Was surprised to haul luggage up to third floor (husband is handicapped). This room should not be classified as a grand king. I did not see anything on the website in regards to rooms on the third floor. Repairs needed to juliette balcony, torn window screen, several electrical outlets broken and grab bar missing from bathtub. Had to try several electrical outlets to find one that would work for phone charging. When I checked our VISA on return, we were charged more than the grand total on our reservation. We did not take any food/drink items offered for sale. Not sure what is going on with this hotel? Photo attached taken from door. Such a disappointment at $630/total per night.

The negative reviews about the Alpine House are spot on. We've just returned from Jackson Hole and can tell you that this place is a mess. I do not know how they attract guests. There is no TV in the room and they are very small with poor lighting (try to find anything in the small closest). The air conditioner is awful. The decks are a joke and ours overlooked the parking lot. At night there are no black out shades so you see outside lights coming in. Due to scheduling issues we were forced to stay in the Springfield Suites for one night (same price). It puts the Alpine House to shame. Do yourself a favor - find something else in Jackson Hole.

Hello Aaron, I have revised your past reservation and it looks like you indeed stay in our model room type. We apologies the room was not up to expectations, and since your stay we have separated that room into its own room type. The Model King room does indeed not have tv's. We thank you for your feedback as it helps us know how to better our establishments. Many thanks, Stefani FOM

A/C did not cool, made a very loud popping and scraping noise, and developed a very loud and annoying squeak. Did not sleep well the entire stay - definitely not restful. Room and bathroom were small and the balcony was really small. The breakfast was so-so. Definitely not a good value. Will never stay here again and not anywhere even remotely affiliated with this place. Enjoyed Jackson Hole despite the lodging!!
