The lodge was clean, comfortable and offered a great breakfast every day. The guest laundry facilities were a game changer. Front desk staff could be a little friendlier, however, the lodge is in the perfect location!
The fireplace in our room was nice to have after a chilly night sky star viewing. The hotel has the right mix of elegance and fun wood carved wildlife statues scattered throughout the hotel. Breakfast was quick and tasty, just right for getting you out and onto your adventures for the day.
We expected more at this price point. To put this review into context, I travel weekly for work and have done so for decades. So I’m very familiar with what expectations should be for price point within different locations. Checking in was a problem as the desk clerk with the glasses first couldn’t find our reservation. Then after requesting my ID and credit card, told me that my card was declined. I asked her if she had run the card I provided and she said yes. That was not the case. The card I originally made the reservation was stolen so I had it replaced. I called AmEx and they told me that they had declined a transaction from the stolen card and the new card (which I provided) had not been used. Okay anyone can make a mistake…. Our room was supposed to come with a bottle of champagne. It didn’t so we had to call for that then get our own ice. The paper supplied with the room said to call the front desk for concierge. It actually reads “let us plan your ideal itinerary! Stop by the front desk to speak with our knowledgeable staff.” We called to book a massage and we’re told they were booked up. Okay. When we asked for a recommendation we were told “we don’t do that”. If they aren’t going to make recommendations (and even reservations) they perhaps they shouldn’t advertise having a “concierge”. Also on the page of instructions was a QRC to access the “bistro menu”. It is no longer active. If this place wants to be considered a luxury option, they mist spend more time training their front desk staff. This staff doesn’t meet the standards of either Marriott or Hilton which are available at a much lower cost. All this being said, the room is spacious, well decorated, and clean. We shall see if they can redeem this poor start. If so, I will revise this review accordingly.…
For the price $500+/night, expected no bugs, a/c that worked, staff to show up to fix breakfast, and advertised amenities in the room to be provided. All the above was reported to management and I was compensated a $29 resort fee for the situations. Don't believe that was enough! Stayed two different times within one week. One night was in August - the other Labor day weekend. Each stay had different situations. Hope the management improves the quality that should be expected.
Love The Lodge! Our stay was great and the food was amazing, kids enjoyed the pool multiple times. Our beds were extremely comfortable and the room and bathrooms were clean. Loved our stay and we can’t wait to come back!
We stayed at the Lodge at Jackson Hole, a beautiful hotel with nice clean and comfortable rooms and furnishings for the LOTOJA cycling event. The lounge had excellent drinks and service. The food we ordered was high quality, prepared fresh and well and delivered in a timely mannor to our room. We enjoyed drinks in the lounge, and warmed up after the race in the wonderful outdoor jacuzzi. We could not hear any noise from the rooms next to ours and slept very well. My only complaint is that the price was very high for a hotel of this quality due to the cycling event.
Not glamorous like the photos. Nice room overall. Sofa needs replacing and safe had to be fixed, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Overpriced imho. Grumpy front desk staff. Location is about 30 minutes from Moose which is the central local for most things.
We would stay here on our next trip to Jackson Hole. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the room was clean. Needs better lighting, but overall, very good. We didn't use the pool, workout room or spa, but everything seemed to be in good working order
Beds were excellent for sleeping. Room was too dark. Location is 1.5 mi from main street downtown. Seemed overpriced. Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee Mate. Grand Tetons were amazing! Great 3 days of hiking.
Very nice property. Breakfast, pool and jacuzzi were exceptional. A mile from downtown, but there are a few restaurants nearby. Pretty expensive (as are most Jackson lodgings). Lots of parking (in back).
