Very helpful with our specific needs and had an easy solution. Loved the location along the snake river. Great for a nights stay in our rv, and the small cabin was perfect for our daughter in law and her son to camp in out of the weather!

Great find in a very expensive area. We booked a ‘mama bear’ cabin. It had a queen bedroom + a loft area with a queen bed and singe bed mattress on the floor (note, no frame just mattress on the floor since the ceiling is low). The cabin was new. It was spotless and just enough space for two of us. I could definitely see a family of four fitting comfortably as long as two people don’t mind sleeping in the loft area. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. Microwave was on top of the full size refrigerator (we’re tall no problem, but a shorter person would find it inaccessible). Full bathroom with good water pressure, shower in full size tub with limited supply of toiletries. Towels were soft and plentiful. I don’t know how they do it, but during our 3 night stay we did not have even one bug in our cabin. They had a broom in the cabin which helped keep the dust/dirt out.
The grounds are very well maintained. Sits just above the snake river with easy access to the trail next to the river for fishing, walking, star gazing. Some cabins do not have a bathroom, but they do have communal baths for those people and they are very nice and clean.
A big shout out to Alicia and Dillon for being fantastic camp hosts. She greeted us so warmly and after a long drive that was a welcoming experience.
I highly recommend this place. One thing to note is that this is right on route 191 with a lot of construction currently. We were lucky enough to get cabin #20 which was in the middle and very quiet. The fire ring was a very nice place to enjoy beautiful Jackson evenings.

We stayed in the Mama Bear cabin for 3 nights. The one we were in had a fire pit, which was nice. I liked that there was a flat screen TV, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and utensils. There were plenty of blankets and towels. The campground was very quiet and peaceful at night and every day. There was a heater in each room in the cabin, but it took a while for cabin to warm up so we kept it on throughout the night. We didn't turn it on the first night and it was very cold in the morning. There was a cute little path that goes down to the river and it's a nice walk along the river. The staff went out of their way for us and they were really accommodating. We'd stay again. One downside is the bed in the bedroom. There's not much room to squeeze along the wall to get to the other side of the bed. The pillows were very flat, so it would be nice if they upgraded their pillows.

We have stayed at 12 different KOAs on this trip and Jackson Hole is by far the worst. I made reservations far in advance and spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get our sites next to each other and was assured this was going to happen. We show up and we are on opposite sides of the campground. The manager was extremely rude and does not know the meaning of customer service. The site next to our friends was open so we asked if we could move. We were told we could move, but may have to change in the future. We took a chance (after already completely already setting up our trailer). Within five minutes of setting up for the second time an elderly couple shows up and says that we were in their spot and they want it back. We talk to the office and the manager women says we have to move again. Her way of compensating us was to allow my children to play on the playground that is always available. So after moving for the third time, we finally settle down only to find that the laundry room is closed at 5 pm so that staff can do their laundry. At all other KOAs the laundry is open 24 hours. They told me to take my laundry to town. I was under the impression that the extremely high cost of staying was because laundry room was available. The WiFi only works if you are basically sitting in the office. I was also not thrilled that I was forced to make a white water rafting reservation if I wanted to stay (we did enjoy the trip, but did not like that I was not given a choice). If you plan to stay in the hot months don’t plan on turning on your air conditioner. There are trees that constantly shed white cotton that get sucked up into your air conditioner and cause problems.

This park was very expensive ($83/night)for a KOA. We were surprised to find our RV site for a three night stay barely large enough to accommodate our 28 foot RV with the side awning extended. Only about 5 feet between the back of our RV and the RV behind us. Thankfully our trip was devoted to visiting the beautiful countryside around Jackson. It appears this KOA caters to the cabins they have and the RV sites are inconsequential.

I stayed solo in the Pooh Bear cabin meant for 4 people and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness both inside and outside the cabin overlooking the Snake River. I regularly used the lovely porch swing and listened to the flowing river. The staff regularly drove through to monitor the park, and it's grounds. The on-site market located at the same place one checks in @ the front entrance, is stocked well and there's access to microwaves, coffee, etc. I did not have a cabin with an A/C unit, while a walk down to the river took care of my cooling down. Showers/bathrooms were an easy stroll away from the cabin and were clean. The staff were personable and ready to answer questions. The location of this business makes it ideal for day trips to the Grand Tetons and it's neighboring environs; Jackson Hole city; the National Wildlife Art Museum, etc. A longer drive to the gates of Yellowstone National Pk. I recommend the Snake River Cabins and RV Village for solo travelers; couples and families.

We stayed in a River Bear cabin for a total of 4 days with our family of 4 (two kiddos, 10 and 11). The cabin was great, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the loft and enjoyed "their" space. The view was spectacular, and the location was great. We went horseback riding across the street and took in a Goat Yoga class about 15 mins away. We had only planned on staying for 2 nights but when our rafting plans in Montana were canceled because of the flooding, we made a quick call to the staff at the Snake River Park and got another cabin for 2 nights and were set up for a rafting trip the next day. We were so grateful our trip was saved, and we were able to come back to the River Bear Cabin. The cabin was equipped with a hair dryer, fan, TV, alarm clock, toaster, coffee maker (with coffee supplies), microwave and fridge. The kitchen was stocked with plates, bowls, cups, silverware, utensils to grill and paper towels. We went into town and bought some groceries and cooked all of our meals at the cabin. There was a gas grill in the front along with a fire pit that the staff clears out daily. The cabin was extremely clean with a coin operated laundry facility on property. I would highly recommend the cabins if you want an experience outside of the typical chain hotels found in Jackson.

The Honey Bear Cabins are adorable! I thought the staff was friendly, check-in was easy, and the amenities were great. There is a small firepit at each cabin, plus picnic table, propane grill, and a couple of adirondack chairs. Inside the cabin is a small kitchen area with dishes, silverware, pans, microwave, sink, small (but not tiny) refrigerator with a small freezer section, and a small dining table. The water pressure in the shower was fine, and they included shampoo, towels, and other bathroom amenities much like any hotel would provide. The wi-fi worked fine for us. The main bed was comfortable and the bedding nice and soft. Our only complaint was the other bed (the full size bed in the back bunk room) was really noisy every time my son moved; it had one of those cheap cardboard box-springs so the cardboard made that horrible sound with every move. Otherwise, everything was awesome! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely come stay again.

Did you ever stay somewhere that exceeded all your expectations? If so, this is NOT the property for you! This is the worst KOA property I’ve ever visited.
We’re staying in the mama bear cabin and the only positive thing that can be said is that it’s clean.
First, the picture shown on the website of the family enjoying the spacious great outdoors, well there’s only one of those cabins on the property, the rest are crammed together like migrant worker’s quarters. Only one of the mama bear cabins is set up so you can have a campfire.
Let’s talk about the loft set up. Again, don’t believe the pictures on the website. There are no beds, only two mattresses on the floor. Since the space from floor to ceiling in the loft is approximately 4’ it’s not surprising, but it was yet another disappointment. Also, for anyone planning on visiting in the summer months, put the relatives you hate in the loft because there’s no airflow and the air conditioning only cools the first floor.
For a great vacation, do yourself and your family a favor and stay somewhere else.

Very bad customer service. Im a military member moving cross country and a week before we move found out my dog/Alaskan malamute has terminal cancer. Booked one of the cabins for July well in advance, they did not have AC available. Arrived around noon and asked if i could check in a little early since check in was 3pm. They looked at me as if I was crazy. Understand early check out is not allowed but I did insist to check the room to make sure it wasn't too hot for my dog since no air conditioning units were available. They insisted they had to stick to policy and checking the room before 3pm was not allowed. Meanwhile they had a no pets sign in the lobby posted and three crazy barking dogs are running around nipping at people. At 2:55 I ask if i can finally see the room, blank stairs, its like the airport terminal scene in Meet the Parents. No one is there and there are three employees that could check me in. Finally get the room keys. Its a sauna!!!! My dog and i will die if I sleep there. All they had to do was let me see the room early, which is completely reasonable. Then I could of kept driving to a more suitable location. There are no other cities around Jackson and had to drive until 1am to find another hotel/campsite. Never using KOA again. Morons work here.
