I had cabin 257. It is a double queen with 2 rooms, a couch and a kitchenette.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and is stocked with dishes and cooking and eating utensils and also dishwasher powder.
Sink and coffee pot, fridge and microwave sand a safe as well.
Bathroom is tub shower combo.
Generous shampoo and lotion bottles, hair dryer and plenty of towels for 2 or 3 people.
Comfortable beds and pillows.
I loved this place.
I came in last minute, no reservation , just walk in.
A little pet pouch with treats and even chocolate chip spice cookies in little bags at the front check in.
I did not use any amenities like laundry etc. as this was just a stop on the way home from a fossil trip in WY.

I feel I just want to come back and stay again just bcs!

A family of 4 with their pet could be so comfortable here for a stay.
And you can cook your own meals.
I paid $158 with tax. No pet fee.

I do not know if this is regular summer price for this cabin, but even if it was $200 a nite, I find it reasonably priced for the area.
Clean and cozy! Pretty and snuggly.
Cabins are so cute and you have parking right at your cabin.
A family can save so much$ by paying g a bit more for a place like this and cook meals.
There is a picnic table and a nice chair on the little porch to each cabin.
I hope I can come by again.
I have some business trips to make and I hope I can finagle it to be here a night back and forth.

Hotel was clean and adequate for our needs. Room were large. Two sink areas were very convenient for two to clean up as the same time. It was necessary to turn the heat completely off to control the temperature in the room. Minor problems with the sink drains were quickly resolved.

The Elk Country Inn cabins were perhaps my favorite accommodation of all time. There was coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and filtered water available at all times. The location was perfectly walkable to delicious restaurants and shops. We had a very quick drive to the National Park. Our dog felt right a home in the cabin, too. The WiFi service was extremely reliable for working remotely. I will be back next summer again - thank you!

Ok, this review is pretty difficult to write, because the price we paid did not at all reflect the room. The pictures online show the new elegant stone building, but what you get is an old room in a back building that is dark and decades old. I know Jackson is expensive, but at $400+ a night, I don't want to feel like I'm spending the night at a $100 Best Western from the 80s? Generally, the room was clean, the carpets ok, but everything could use some lightning up. The room was so dark and the yellow shades didn't help to provide light. We did enjoy the fluffy large towels though, which is uncommon to get a big sized one. We also loved that they reuse the older towels for cleaning gear etc.

They do provide breakfast, which is nice, but everything is packed in plastic and not very eco friendly. I'm not sure I would give this one another go at that price range without any updates to the standard rooms.

We stayed here very recently after a week and half of camping in Yellowstone and Gros Ventre. We were hoping for a quiet, comfortable, peaceful place to relax, sleep in, unwind and enjoy the town. Instead we had a room that was so noisy. The room overlooks to a dumpster and they pick up everyday at 4:30 am and it is loud. We can also hear the footsteps of people staying above our room. It felt like they are constantly stomping late at night and at 6am in the morning. We can also hear the water gushing down the walls every time someone above flushes the toilet. They are also doing some construction so there's a lot of noise while they are demolishing parts of their hotel, the constant beeping of trucks backing up and they start very early around 7am.
Someone already mentioned about the "complimentary" breakfast. It was dismal. The boiled eggs reminded me of the sulfur in Yellowstone. The orange juice was so watered down. We tried it only one day and we ended up eating outside everyday after that. The beds were uncomfortable.
The tipping point is on the day of our checkout, they had a sewage service truck parked outside our room that had the engine constantly revving up. The fumes was so strong that we had to stop packing our car and wait. The fumes was also coming into our room that we had to blast the fan of the aircon and open the windows from the back. I called the front desk twice and spoke to the same woman who couldn't care less and gave me a snooty attitude. No explanation, no apologies, no follow through. I called from my mobile a third time and complained. A guy answered this time and though a bit apologetic, again there was no follow through. Good thing we had N-95 masks and we used it while packing our cars and hurrying up just so we can get out of that hotel. Such a big disappointment. We stayed in 3 hotels and 2 campgrounds during this big trip. This is the worst accommodation. I'd rather stay in a campground than this place.

We stayed in the new rooms in the main block and it was, while an accessible room, very spacious.
The King Bed, maybe a California King, was very comfortable. and the room has plenty of wardrobe and draws if you are staying longer....maybe in the winter for skiing.
The breakfast was only fruit and coffee due to Covid 19, they serve cookies in the early evening!
Not far to walk to the central square and the majority of the restaurants, so a good location for the summer.
The new pool and jacuzzi looks good, we did not use this.
We would return here in the future. The rate we paid was competitive for the very high rates being charged in Jackson when we were there in September.

There is quite a bit of construction going on here that is removed from the wing where we stayed. Fortunately that meant we had a very quiet & comfortable stay. They do allow pets and our stay was not interrupted by the many 4-legged visitors we had nearby. The staff occasionally wore masks but not consistently. Their viral precautions included not cleaning or making up the rooms during our 3 night stay.

Stayed in the main building which has been completely renovated. The rooms are a generous size with cedar chests at the ends of the beds for storage, microwave, and mini-fridge. Service was excellent. (The other rooms/cabins separate from the main building appear to be older and I have no other information on condition.) The breakfast area has ample seating and the food offerings were generous with Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits, hard boiled eggs, fruit (suggested more gluten-free options). There is a coffee/hot chocolate machine and juice machine that is available 24 hours. The Inn has an indoor/outdoor pool, an indoor hot tub, and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor portion has a seating area with a fire place. The location is next to a decent BBQ restaurant and across from a Ross. The Inn is very close to downtown, but not close enough to walk, in my opinion. I didn't use it, so I'm unaware of the service provider, but some shuttle company picks up skiers in front of the hotel. This was a real find for the money. I will definitely stay here again. In January 2021, the hotel was at near pre-Covid operations.

We only stayed here one night, but left with a favorable impression that this is a well managed property.

Pros: Everything appeared well cleaned, soft comfortable beds, complimentary coffee and tea around the clock, along with complimentary cookies during the day and complimentary breakfast in morning. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Lobby and breakfast area is nicely designed and decorated with luxury feel. Location of this property is fantastic for walking around town.

I won’t even call it a “con”, but if you want a premium in-room experience upgrade your room to a premium room or cabin. We booked the most basic two queen room and it
was just that. (Lower ceilings as this room was in an older building, tiny bathroom, and no patio/porch/outside seating).

There appears to be various room options, and even though our room was very basic it was very comfortable. I would stay here again, but would pay a little extra for a different room/cabin if staying here more than one night.

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel - the location, the room, and friendly staff. For a county-wide mask enforcement, it was very disconcerting that cleaning staff weren't wearing masks. It made us uneasy whether there were any safety precautions before we got to our room.
