Just returned from a visit to Elk Country Inn, Jackson Wyoming. This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very modern and well kept. We have not one complaint. There is a hot tub inside and outside. The pool is partially inside and partially outside. The Kids swam everyday that we were there. In the evening there are fresh cookies for all the guest. The Breakfast included in the nightly stay was always hot and fresh. All of the employees were eager to please their guest. Whether we needed our safe open due to our mistake, or rooms cleaned the employees got right on it.
Great hotel in a great location. We loved everything about the hotel. The staff was warm and helpful. Very clean and updated. The hotel had a perfect feel and design Jackson. I would certainly recommend it!
This hotel is a great place to stay in Jackson. It is close to everything and within walking distance to the town square. The rooms are good size with great amenities. The breakfast was very good with many good options. Will definitely stay there again when in Jackson.
Room was large, clean and comfortable. Check in was smooth and friendly. The hotel was within walking distance of center of town and many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was unremarkable, but ok, pretty typical motels fare.
Definitely not a fancy place, but a very functional and clean and comfortable place. We stayed in one of the little cabins, and it was very nice. Everything was clean and well-organized, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchenette was very functional. Easy parking right in front of the unit. Hot water in the shower was inconsistent, and the gentleman at the front desk, was, well, less than a gentleman. But besides that, everything else was very nice, and I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Jackson.
Good choice in Jackson, not horribly overpriced. Room seemed dark even with all the lights on. Breakfast was a bit disappointing when compared to the ambience of the hotel, powered eggs, cold sausage patties and flavorless potatoes. I hope they push it up a notch during the ski season.
The view from my balcony was of the dumpsters..what was better, though, the dumpsters were emptied vigorously at 2am and again at 5 am. Not a good place to sleep. For all the money spent in the lobby area, you’d think the rooms would be really nice, the shower fixtures aren’t secured so they move every time you turn them on off or adjust em. Trim was loose around the door way and catches the bath mat.
By all accounts we had a wonderful 6 night stay. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast, while the same each day, was a great amenity, the staff was tremendous and friendly. We stayed in one of the newer rooms and had absolutely no issues. Thank you for a great experience.
We stayed one night in a loft room which was a great BIG room but it had the tiniest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel room. If you had two people (like trying to give a child a bath) you would have to either keep the door open or one person would have to stand in the bath while the second person came in in order to close the door. It was strange for how big the rest of the room was. Be advised all loft rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. They did have a coin operated laundry, only two and one of the dryers was out of service. Had to wait for a hotel employee to finish his laundry before I could use dryer. Nice breakfast only 6:30 - 9:30am. Comfortable beds, clean. Not really close to main square but it is walking distance (little over 1/2 mile). TV would blink to black screen while watching then would come back which was annoying. No no commercial channel (like movie channels) option for TV. Front desk staff were friendly. Really LOUD housekeepers yelling back and forth to each other on deck outside room early in the morning, so much for sleeping in. The hotel lobby is really pretty/nice but expected more for the really expensive price.…
This hotel is amazing from the time you walk in the door and meet their wonderful staff. I want to Thank Michelle for the wonderful room she booked for us. We had the Cloudveil suite and it was out of this world. We were on a bucket list trip traveling for over 21 days. When we arrived the staff was welcoming as well as the hotel. It was clean and well organized. We went to our room and was amazed by the amenities of this suite, all you could hope for. It was well needed and appreciated to have such a beautiful place to rest and relax after traveling so much with just average rooms. The location was good for us to get to the area sites. Breakfast was good and kept clean and filled for everyone to eat. Our few days in Jackson Hole were very memorable and happy and we thank Elk Country Inn for making it exceptional. Stay here you won’t be disappointed…
