We can only recommend the Buckrail. Lovely log cabin decor, quiet location and massively cheaper than anything else we could find in Jackson. It’s towards the edge of town but having seen where the main hotels are situated we were actually glad of that as we like it quiet, and it’s easily walkable. Very helpful staff and use of a... More

Rustic place made of logs. Nice picnic area with trees. Parking is right in front of the room for easy unloading. Owner is very nice and helpful with directions. She told us about Bubba's BBQ and it was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. A little dark due to the log construction. The Buckrail is in a residential neighborhood... More

After doing quite a bit of research for lodging in Jackson, the Buckrail Lodge was a good choice and a bargain compared to most hotels in this area. The grounds are well maintained and the property has a nice laid-back feel to it. It's far enough away from the town center to provide quiet evenings when sleeping. At the same... More

We stayed here last year in July, for 3 nights. We were perfectly happy to be here. Comfortable, good beds, good bathroom, tea and coffee machine, little fridge. Agreeable and quiet location (5 or at the most 10 minute walk to the town centre) with a very pleasant garden. Price was OK relative to Jackson prices. Lovely place, happy marriage... More

We stopped at Buckrail lodge for one night on our trip thru Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We wished we would of stayed longer. This was our favorite hotel of our 8 nights of travel. The place is immaculate the beds are comfy, the shower is roomy and came with very thick, plush towels. There is a big yard with... More

We stayed at this hotel based on the reviews we read on trip advisor. We were very glad we did. The hotel has a nice western feel, it's clean and the staff is very friendly. What I liked the most based on the other 5 hotels we stayed in on our vacation out west, is that we would sit out... More

Great little motel with very friendly staff. Best coffee I had in Jackson. My only complaints are the noise level, hammering at 8 in the morning and the air conditioner didn't work very well. Rustic decor a perfect Wyoming fit. I would stay here again.

This little motel is just 5 blocks from the center of town. Clean rooms, thin walls, friendly staff. Less than half the price of hotels "in town." Free bus runs from about a block away to just about everyplace in jackson. At the foot of Snow King Mtn. Fridge and Microwave in room, Flat Panel TV, rustic room but very... More

We stayed here three different nights over 10 days as family arrived and departed from JAC. We found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly, the rooms were clean and well kept, and the location was a convenient walk to downtown Jackson and a convenient drive to other area amenities (grocery store, airport etc). Their nightly rate was very... More
