The Goosewing Ranch is a wonderful escape! Talk about being able to get away from it all. Don't be discouraged by the rough road in (but be prepared if you are driving in yourself), as you won't need to leave other than on your ATV. The property is tucked behind sets of truly unique mountain landscapes that are all awe inspiring as you travel up from Jackson. There is so much to do at the Ranch, you will wish you had more time. We spent 4 nights. Exploring the area on the Horse/ATV/foot will keep you quite busy - for the ATVs recommend Gun Site and Soda Lake/Dew Point. We hiked at Bacon Creek. Be prepared for significant temperature fluctuations - In July - 40s at night, 80s during the day. Little to no shade in most areas, so bring sun protective gear. We went horseback riding for one day - Torrie is awesome and is wonderful teacher/guide (much appreciated given a couple of us hadn't been on a horse in 15 plus years). The trails were challenging at times, and our instruction - and of course the horses - were ideal. As far as other activities - skeet shooting, hatchet/knife throwing, horseshoes, campfires/stories. We did not have kids in our group, but the ones who were there were certainly kept busy as well. The food is delicious. Breakfast made to order (please do yourself a favor and get the French Toast). You order your dinner after breakfast and order your lunch for the next day after dinner so it is ready for you. Lunches are packed sandwiches to allow you to be on the go. Clint and the kitchen/restaurant staff all did a wonderful job! Thank you Lexy, Doug and Carolyn. Amy is wonderful - very professional, organized and helpful. She certainly keeps things running quite smoothly. A few others that need shout outs - Trent, Randy and Wayne! Wish we had more time to meet everyone else as well, but staff really helped make it a special stay and your efforts are much appreciated. You will be exhausted, but try to catch the sunsets as they are truly spectacular on the Ranch. Hoping the Glamping sites will be back up and running soon - would love to spend a few nights even further up the mountain!

Our family enjoyed an amazing week at Goosewing Ranch. The staff was very welcoming and very accommodating. We felt like family at the ranch, staff remember your names and what you like to eat/ drink. The food was fantastic!! Plenty of activities for guests of all ages, we had three generations at the ranch for 7 days. Ranglers were awesome, taking our kids, ages 10-18 for horse back rides daily. Plenty of activities including archery, roping, skeet shooting, line dancing, campfires, and more. Each cabin comes with a ATV which was super fun as there are tons of trails to explore the area. The location and views are like nothing I have ever seen. I highly recommend Goosewing Ranch for your next vacation.

Three generations of our family just got back from a week at Goosewing. Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The cabins were great with wonderful views. A big "shout-out" to Clint from all 10 in our party for the wonderful meals. Since we have a chef in our family - this praise is not to be taken lightly. The youngest generation (3 teenagers and a 10 yr old) were busy from morning til night and were never without big smiles on their faces. From horseback riding under the direction of the great wranglers, to hatchet/knife throwing, to line dancing, the kids were engaged in new activities and meeting new people. At all levels, the staff was welcoming and helpful. With each cabin having a designated ATV for use during our stay, we all had the opportunity to explore the gorgeous geography around the ranch. This was a very special vacation for our family that was made even more special by all of the wonderful people who work at Goosewing Ranch. This was truly a trip to be treasured forever!!

Wow! What a wonderful vacation!. A guest ranch has always been on my bucket list and this one did not disappoint. I have been home now for 2 weeks and have had time to get back to reality and to honestly reflect on this experience. This was a “girls” vacation with 2 friends and we never had this much fun. It all started with Dan when he picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of Jackson before picking up additional guests and then driving us to the ranch. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the local area and history and made the long journey enjoyable. We found our cabin to be clean and very comfortable and settled in quickly before heading to the barn to meet our mounts. The horses were all well trained and matched to their riders and the wranglers were all very helpful and qualified. We especially enjoyed the trail rides with Blondine, Jane, Wayne, Tom, and Ethan. The trails were all great and provided a range of scenery with the Grand Tetons for a background and the Gros Ventre valley below. We also participated in all of the other activities provided such as clay shooting, target shooting, archery, hatchet/knife throwing, and fly fishing. The activities director, Tyler, was an excellent instructor and was very knowledgeable about each activity. We enjoyed the use of an ATV to get around the ranch and to take off the ranch to explore the surrounding roads and trails around the ranch. The food was excellent, thanks to their wonderful chef Clint, and our servers Doug, Paul, Margo, and Caroline made sure we were taken care of. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our vacation was unforgettable and that all our needs were met. A special thank you to Katrina and Tyler for working together to coordinate our activities and trail rides so we were able to do everything we wanted. Overall we had the best time and were sad to have to return home. Would definitely recommend this ranch to anyone looking for an awesome vacation!!!

What a wonderful experience! All started with Dan picking us up at the airport and giving us an indepth history of the area. Upon arrival Becky gave us all info re the ranch and our cabin. Cabin cozy and comfortable. Clint, the chef, provided 5 star meals, and Caroline, Margo, Doug, and Paul were so accommodating to our wishes in the lodge. Horseback riding was a highlight of the stay, Boss, my horse was the best. Wranglers were top notch, Blanding, Jane, Wayne, Ethan and Katrina. Thanks so much to Blandine for taking such good care of us on our trail rides. Riding in the river on horseback was a first for me. Took advantage of all activities, thanks to Tyler and Jane. The scenery was breathtaking. The night sky is indescribable, and seeing the milky way was a treat. Was sad to leave, but Dan again gave us a informative ride back to the airport. Also, thank you Amy, for all you do to,make a person's stay a memorable one.
