Nice accommodations. We stayed in the spa suites with a “butler”. We had a good time but anytime we went out to the bar area in the spa suites no one was to be found. They put a sign out saying you aren’t allowed to serve yourself but there’s no bartender ever available. You have to text someone to come make you a drink and that is irritating and just not what we were expecting. Food at the restaurant was good, bartenders there were fantastic. I would suggest staying in a cabin closer to the lobby if you plan on having drinks at any time during day or night bc the spa suites you pay $$$ for do not really have a butler available unless you text them.

I'll admit we got a pretty good deal on our room, so my expectations weren't too high. We stayed in the smallest rooms at the Rustic Inn which are in a semi-circle of rooms closest to the main lobby. These rooms were super small and tired. Our bathroom was so small you couldn't stand in front of the sink without bending around the toilet. The furniture was tired, the room drafty (with a cracked window) and the mattress was a lumpy/sagging mess. My back ached for days after. Overall, a very disappointing experience and I won't be staying here again. I've heard the rooms closer to the river are nicer, but I don't know if that's true.

Room Tip: Choose rooms down by the river, rooms closer to the main lobby are smaller and not good.

This is a great spot to stay in Jackson. Great staff, very responsive when we had a problem with heating. It was fixed immediately. The grounds are gorgeous, perfect for spending the afternoon for picnics and games. Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I have visited Rustic Inn for several years and this will be the last time I stay. For the amount of money you spend to stay you expect the room to be at-least CLEAN and in working order. Not only were there stains on the furniture and sheets but the cold water didn’t work in the bathroom. The mattress might be the worst one I’ve ever had to lay on. You truly sank 7-8 inches causing you to have some of the worst sleep. When I checked out the receptionist lady could have cared-less when I told her about these issues. Terrible customer service. Do not stay here. Find somewhere else.

We came to JH as postponed honeymoon and had the best week. The staff, restaurant, and room were excellent. If you are looking to hike and go out in Jackson at night, this is the place for you. They also offer a shuttle for skiing.
