I am not sure where all the positive reviews stayed but please read before you stay here! We went on the off season so place was pretty empty. The cabin they gave us was at the end and there was a flood almost to our porch due to the melting snow. Dog poop on the sidewalk. Plenty of other cabins available. Upon entering, the room smelled. I am in the habit of wiping all surfaces when going to a hotel. So we wiped down everything. All the surfaces were either dirty or sticky. The underside of the toilet seat was dirty also. It was obvious not cleaned. We went to heat up something in the microwave and it didn’t work. I had to go to the office and they brought a new one. Then in the morning the coffee machine made one cup and stopped working. Blow dryer was smoking and not working either. Finally I wasn’t feeling well and when I went to sleep, I’m pretty sure the sheets were not changed. They did not smell clean. I tried not to think about it but itched all night. I asked if we could be refunded for the second night because we weren’t going to stay and was told they couldn’t refund any money.

I did a lot of research online before picking this place and glad I did. We had a creek side cabin with king bed. Great views on the patio. You are next to other detached cabins on creek side but there was enough privacy between cabins because of layout and partial screens outside. The room was very cozy. Comfortable bed. The location to downtown square was perfect- not to close where there was crowds/ noise but not to far to walk there. They also have a shuttle from the resort if you prefer a quick shuttle ride. Very convenient and quick for drop off and pick up service. The service at the resort was great. Very attentive to every need. There are some different type cabins close to the road where you might hear some traffic noise if you choose a different cabin. Also the pool is close to the road but still private and a nice hot tub and dry sauna. The restaurant had great food. Wonderful steak. The bar is a nice small cozy atmosphere. Breakfast is included and was good- traditional type breakfast and so convenient before we headed out to adventure for the day. Great service. In the evening, we loved sitting by the fire relaxing or sit on our patio drinking some wine (there is a convenient grocery store walking distance where you can grab a bottle of wine or snacks). I saw a combination of families here and couples. The airport is close by which makes it convenient to get home. We leave tomorrow and we will miss this beautiful part of the country. Would definitely recommend this place to couples and families.

We picked up our keys, parked the car & pulled our bags to our cabin. The 5 foot sidewalk to our cabin had not been shoveled of the 4” of recent snow. I went back to the office, asked to have our sidewalk shoveled. A worker came in about 5 minutes & shoveled the walk, leaving the snow on the 2 steps to the porch. I brushed that off as I could with my boots. The snow partially thawed and melted into the sidewalk. We had received a text from “our” concierge asking if we needed anything. I responded asking for Ice Melt so we didn’t get hurt falling on the icy steps and sidewalk. When we returned to our cabin a MINIMAL amount of Ice Melt had been scattered, as if management didn’t have enough to do it right. For the two days of our stay we dealt with icy steps & sidewalks. NOT SATISFACTORY. Breakfast was wonderful, except for two things: 1) cold coffee, and 2) steep steps to the breakfast room. Very difficult for my 81 year old husband with a cane to get up the steps - no alternate way to the breakfast room. That’s right - it’s 2024 & there is no way to get to breakfast without dealing with 8 or 9/steep steps. We have stayed here for years & this has always been a problem. But we like the property. Disappointing … for a lovely location with comfortable, quiet cabins.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We do apologize for any inconvenience and ask that you would allow us to address some of the concerns you raised in your review. Regarding the walkway conditions, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the snow accumulation. Our maintenance team diligently clears walkways daily for both scheduled arrivals and in-house guests. Of course, confirmed reservations & in house guests take priority over vacant rooms and as both of your reservations were made at the time of your arrival, the pathways/ porch areas had not yet been cleared. Regardless, upon receiving your request, the front desk supervisor personally addressed the situation and cleared the walking areas leading to your cabins. We'd also like to clarify that the reported snowfall on the day of your arrival was less than one inch. While we strive to minimize ice formation by regularly clearing snow and spreading ice melt, fluctuating temperatures make it impossible to completely prevent ice. When temperatures soar during the day, and rapidly fall in the evenings, melted snow turns to ice. Using ice melt in sub-freezing temperatures only temporarily solves the problem as the melted ice will eventually refreeze. As returning guests, we would like to thank you for your continued patronage and appreciate your familiarity with our property. We understand that accessibility concerns, particularly regarding the breakfast area's steep steps, can pose challenges. We apologize for any inconvenience and want to ensure that you, your husband, and all future guests have a comfortable experience. As such, we have always offered for our chefs to personally assemble your breakfast and hand deliver it to the bar/ wine cellar areas for you to enjoy without having to exert yourself. This is something that we have offered since the day of opening to ensure that our included amenities are available to all guests. In the future, please feel free to notify our breakfast staff, and they will be happy to accommodate your needs by bringing your meal downstairs, where ample seating is available. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually strive to enhance our guests' experiences. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, where we aim to provide you with an exceptional stay that exceeds your expectations.

My family stayed at Rustic Inn in a deluxe double queen cabin. The room was so comfortable and had vaulted ceilings which made it feel bigger. We had a beautiful courtyard view full of snow and right behind our cabin was the creek. There were tons of mule deer walking around the property and they will come right up to you. The views at this hotel are just amazing! We had so much fun playing in the snow and there's a ton of private open space to do so here. They give you free breakfast daily too and it's very good. The hotel bar and restaurant has great selections and everything we ordered was delicious. Location is perfect because it's about 3 minutes from town, but still feels like you are away from the crowds. I can't recommend this hotel enough...we were so happy with our experience here and we will be coming back again!!!

Location is great, services are nice. I’ve stayed here a few times and found certain rooms better than others. Staying in lower level fire place room, while charming and spacious we could hear voices and walking from the upper units. The smaller rooms near the gym need updating and don’t have microwaves. The best rooms are the individual cabins. These rooms are detached from each other, providing a quieter, sleeping experience. They also have mini refrigerators and microwaves with coffee maker in each room. Robes and nice bath amenities as well as a comfortable bed are a plus. Hot tub is challenging to use in the winter if there is snow/ice on the walkway. Breakfast is included with a nice array of choices, which is a bonus. Bar/restaurant staff are nice, friendly, and very accommodating. I wish the resort recognized return guests as they do not have a frequent stayer program. They don’t offer room upgrades, or any accommodations for guests that are returning to the resort, which is my only disappointment.

This Inn was the perfect winter location for our family for a mid winter vacation. We all had our own king creekside cabin and loved watching the deer each morning. The staff could not have been better in helping us with touring suggestions. The shuttle made it so easy for us to get in and out of Jackson for dinners and shopping, we really didn't need to rent a car. The breakfasts were hearty and offered a good selection of pastries and fruit as well as hot breakfast items. We will definitely be back!

I actually decided to visit Jackson Hole because I saw an add for Rustic Creek Inn specifically. I thought it would be fantastic to stay on a nature reserve in a little private cabin and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The fresh snow around the creek, deer visitors, restaurant & bar, hot tub/sauna/heated pool, shuttle were all phenomenal. This IS the place to stay when you come here. Every day was perfect starting with a hot breakfast, grabbing a shuttle to our festivities, then coming back to grab dinner at the bar & restaurant and end the night in the hot tub watching the fresh snow fall. The Inn is also walking distance from the square so the location is perfect. Elk Refuge is right across from the hotel as well. My only tip to travelers: drinks at the bar are quite more expensive than other bars on the square save the best for last (end of the night) otherwise drinks are delicious. My one note to the hotel: everything was perfect minus the shower. Both shower heads the streams were so thin and so out of wack facing all directions and bleeding out onto the bathroom carpet that by the time the water reached my body it wasn’t hot and the stream only touched a little portion of the body at a time. But I’ll accept a bad shower experience if water is hot and everything else was perfect. But the shower heads, at least in 153 specifically, should be replaced/upgraded. Thank you guys for a memorable stay in Wyoming it was a dream and I definitely would come to stay again.

Stayed a few nights over Christmas in a double bed cabin. They are small and cozy with a robe to cut off the bathroom (toilet has a door). Has a central laundry room, however weren’t allowed to use it until check in (tried a couple hours early as we landed early and didn’t want to waste time at night) as per strict policy. Ensure to know exactly the location your rooms are on the map if you want a room that is actually creekside. And check the room size if your a family with lots of bags/kids. The surrounding areas are beautiful - especially if it’s snowed. The kids loved walking around the nature preserve and playing in the snow. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the dining staff were really accommodating. The included breakfast was reliable with lots of options to eat and drink. Location is across from the Elk Refuge which is good. Not quite in the middle of town so it’s quiet, but not too far away so it can be walked.

Great place to stay for a ski trip. My wife, teenage son, and myself stayed in a superior double queen guest room with fireplace. We found it to be plenty spacious enough for the 3 of us and all our ski stuff. We found the beds to be quite comfortable. The fireplace was nice to have in February and was great in helping us dry our ski clothes. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Wyatt at the front desk stuck out as particularly helpful. We had one minor issue with our shower/tub not draining. But it was addressed quickly. We found breakfast to be delicious and a good variety. There was a selection of eggs, potatoes, breakfast meats, pastries, bagels, fruits, and cereal. All the fuel we needed to hit the slopes. We found we could hit breakfast right at 7:00 and still have time to get back to the room to finish getting our ski gear on to catch the 8:00 ski shuttle. The ski shuttle was a medium size bus that was very comfortable with leather reclining seats. Stephanie was the operator all the days. She was safe, helpful, and quick to point out wildlife along the way. There are other ways to get to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, but having the included shuttle on site was certainly a key amenity for our stay. The town shuttle (a large 15 passenger Mercedes van) was also very nice to have. While you can certainly walk to town square (and we did a few times), having the shuttle after a long day in the slopes was nice to have. The drivers (who were also the bellmen) were courteous and prompt. My wife enjoyed a spa treatment and the amenities of the spa as well.

I am astonished by the amount of positive reviews for Rustic Inn as we were not impressed, not even a little! Upon arrival there was no offer to help transport bags to the room. We had a superior double creek side and while creek side was pretty, the room itself is desperately outdated. Furniture was very worn, with multiple chips and scuffs. Even photos on the wall had chips in the frames. Carpet was worn and dirty. Closets completely inadequate. It looked like the room hosted numerous parties and that even pictures had been knocked off the wall. The heater did not regulate at all. The room was either roasting hot or too cold. We did not get what we paid for, in any way, shape or form. Hot tub was barely warm enough and there wás literally nowhere to set your towels or clothes, except on the ground or inside the sauna, which junked up the sauna. The pool deck around the hot tub and pool were an atrocious ice skating rink. If you’re going to provide a pool and or hot tub in the winter, you need a heated deck to keep the ice at bay. It was really ridiculous. We did have one good dinner meal at the restaurant and that’s the only reason I’m giving two stars. This was at the top of the list of most expensive, yet most inadequate stay experiences I’ve ever had.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your recent stay at Rustic Inn. It is disheartening to hear that your overall impression of our inn did not meet your expectations. We genuinely value criticism as it helps us identify areas for improvement and enhances the overall quality of our services. However, we were surprised to learn about the specific issues you mentioned in your review, as this review was the first indication to us that your stay was less than satisfactory. These issues were not brought to our attention during your stay, or the multiple interactions with our Front Desk Supervisor, specifically when you requested to move to an upper floor unit. I would also like to acknowledge his personal assistance in transporting your luggage to the new room. As for the heater not regulating properly, I believe this could be a simple user error of the unit's settings (auto versus constant fan) as both rooms you were in have been occupied since your departure and there have been no other complaints regarding a lack of temperature regulation. Of course, we also checked both units to ensure quality and did not find any defects. Again, we would have been more than happy to address your concerns during your stay rather than having to respond to you in a review after the fact. We want to assure you that our pool and hot tub areas are equipped with a heated deck, and we proactively undertake measures to shovel and salt the area, aiming to prevent any ice build-up. If you encountered any inconvenience due to ice during your use of this area, we sincerely apologize. Inclement weather and unexpected snowfall can make this challenging to accomplish, but we are reviewing our procedures to ensure consistent maintenance and prompt addressal of any potential issues. As for the complaints in regard to your room's interior appearance. Routine maintenance, daily checks for quality, revamps, and scheduled deep cleans are performed regularly to ensure the utmost quality and cleanliness. We offer a plethora of unique amenities as well as a premier location that cannot be compared against any other property in Jackson. Again, no mention of your dissatisfaction was made to us during your stay. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. If there are any further details you would like to discuss or if you have additional insights to share, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
