Well we were grateful to get the last room in town during hunting season. The room is small, but clean. Beds were small but comfortable. However, the toilet ran and ran and ran.... so we had to shut the valve off to it after the tank was filled just to get some sleep. I had to unplug the fridge because it was making strange noises. Room was overly warm, despite shutting the heat off.
An older hotel but has everything you need. We rented a chalet and loved it. Gave you privacy and had a view of the river. Was very enjoyable. The owners were very nice and helpful. We loved the location was so close to Devils Rock.
Mattress old and squeaky Non skid strips coming off the tub Air conditioner that is hotter than it is outside and WiFi so slow we cannot do anything. Download speed 1.1 Mbps. Upload speed even worse. After showering and hoping the room would cool down (nope) I asked to see a room upstairs- we are in a basement with faux painted concrete walls and a drop ceiling all for $120 plus tax I was told since we have been in the room for an hour it cannot be resold and we will have to pay for a second room if we move. This is the second worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. And the other was half the price!
Definitely recommend this motel. First tried to book at the Best Western but they would not let us stay with our little dog. This motel welcomed us. They are right on the river, close to the cafe and market. Well appointed rooms. Carson, who helped welcome us, also enticed us to buy a cribbage board made out of wood by his Aunt and Uncle. It will become a treasured possession.
We love it here. Very friendly. We stayed in the cabins with our dogs. It’s comfortable but not for bigger people. Better beds would have made it better for us seniors. The scenery is heavenly. Deer running across the river in front of the cabins and hotel. You can hear the silence, birds, river and other sounds. We will always stay here. Hope you can get better beds though😂
