Detailed Reviews
I don't travel alone very often, only for occasional work trips. The second I walked into this hotel the owners made me feel like I was being welcomed by family or old friends, which is extra comforting when you're traveling alone through rural Wyoming. The hotel has basically everything you need in one building, which is awesome when most of small town Greybull is closed on a Sunday.
The hotel itself has a homey feel while also holding many aspects of its history. If you like history like I'll do, you'll love looking at the old pictures on walls, the details of the building itself, and reading about the story of the hotel. The rooms are quaint and unique, it feels like it's your room at grandma's house, especially with the quilts and decor of the room. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, but I slept like a baby here because the bed was so cozy. It is on a "busy" street and near the train tracks, so I would recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive to noises while you sleep. Otherwise I feel like the town is super quiet at night.
At the check-in area, you can get a coffee or ice cream, and then there is a speakeasy restaurant downstairs in the basement. I ate in the restaurant for both nights of my stay and it was seriously delicious. They even had someone singing live music on Saturday night. He was not only incredible, but played at the perfect volume and feel of the room that it wasn't loud or overbearing, especially being in a basement. Everyone could hear each other and keep their conversations while enjoying a delicious dinner. My favorite was the salmon and don't forget the amazing homemade desserts!
For breakfast there is a little nook where they keep cereal, coffee, yogurt, bread, fruit, all of the usual breakfasts provided by hotels. The biggest bonus however is that they have homemade banana bread - so good! I also like that they have real plates and silverware to reduce waste.
The owners really make you feel special and like you're at home. I typically don't write too many reviews, but I had to give them the praise they deserve for an amazing stay and really putting together a great place in Greybull. I will seriously try to drive through Greybull for work to stay here! Thank you!

We chose this beautiful historic hotel right downtown in the charming town of Greybull because of the decor and its pet friendly policy. Our room had a comfortable bed, pillows, a hot shower, as well as coffee service and a mini fridge. There is a women's and a men's toilet in the hallway which made it feel as though you are staying with family. There is a yummy Speakeasy restaurant on site and a full Continental breakfast is served in the lobby in the morning. There is convenient parking for a vehicle pulling a trailer across the street and street parking. We very much enjoyed visiting with the owners Myles and Lorie and Rosie who walked us to our room was very welcoming .We will certainly be back if we are this way again. Thanks so much!

We had booked a lower cost room, but discovered we had been "bumped" into a much nicer one at no cost. The room was clean, well maintained, and quiet. Another surprise was the dining option in the "Speakeasy" in the basement of the hotel. Fun! The hotel owner was responsive and friendly. Greybull is a nice location, close to the Big Horns, and far away from the business of Cody. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a real gem. We had one of the rooms at street level. The room was huge with a beautiful tin ceiling. The bathroom was newly renovated and spacious. Breakfast was in a nook on the second floor. You can either take it back to your room or stay to chat with the other guests. The restaurant was closed the night we were there so we ate a a local honky tonk in the next block where everyone was friendly. The owners of the hotel are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the drive to Greybull over the Bighorn mountains is spectacular. Don't miss this one!

We stayed at this hotel based on their website description and review we read. We were not disappointed! This is a charming old hotel in the heart of a small Wyoming town. At one time, the building housed a bank on the main floor (bank safe is still there), a speakeasy in the basement and the hotel rooms were on the second floor. Hotel entrance is now on the main floor and you walk up a long flight of stairs to your room on the second floor. Hotel rooms are small and have vintage furnishings in keeping with the original lodging. While there was a sink and shower (once a clothes closet) in the room, the toilet was just down the hall, not a big deal. Floors are original and creak just like they did years ago. We had a room with tall windows overlooking the main intersection and we were able to park on the street next to the hotel. Very cool to have such authentic accommodations! Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Wish that the Speakeasy restaurant had been open for dining but we will just have to come back! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The view from my room was beautiful! The full kitchen was great too!! I travel a ton for my job and just bringing my own food to cook is super nice. These apartments let my coworkers and I room share comfortably with up 3 of us in 1 room!! All Queen sized beds!! The staff are so friendly too. We aren’t in this area very often and don’t have a contract for rooms with anyone there. However, this wonderful establishment is EXTREMELY affordable, comfortable, friendly, & beautiful. This is where will always stay when in the area. Thank you guys for a great experience!

We were a family of 5 that stayed in the family suite. It was quite small, but had a living area (considered one of the bedrooms) and a separate bedroom with two beds. The kitchen was decent sized (we didn't use). It's an old historic hotel and has that charm. There are shops, restaurants, and bars very close by and there's a speakeasy in the basement of the hotel (we got in too late to check it out). We parked right across the street. A continental breakfast was included. Unfortunately, I was expecting a little bit better breakfast, but it did have cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs, coffee cake, fruit, and yogurt. The coffee was not refilled, so only got one small cup (although I suspect they would've made another pot for us, but we were the only ones there so didn't want to bother). I would recommend this hotel when passing through Greybull.

We are currently staying at the hotel, and we paid very reasonable rate in order to enjoy a wonderful experience. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. We had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant last evening and we are thrilled to be able to eat there again this evening. We have traveled from North Carolina and the drive in yesterday and the stay at the hotel have been the highlights of our trip

After the floods of Yellowstone this spring it seems all the rooms in Cody doubled. So, we explored some of the surrounding area and landed on this Hotel in Greybull.
My wife is still thanking me for getting us a room in this quaint hotel. It was a trip into yesteryear. This place is nostalgic and CLEAN. They also provided a light breakfast to get a nice start on the day.
I was telling the owner how nice the town is with all the unique shops and businesses. He smiled and said he was glad to hear it because he is also the mayor!
I wish we had booked more days at the hotel because I feel like the area has a lot to offer and a lot to explore.
