This reservoir and state park, located in the vast, open space of eastern Wyoming, is ideal for camping, boating, and exploring. We have "tent camped" at Sandy Beach Campground twice now and it's your true roughing it conditions with the addition of fire rings and outhouse bathrooms. It is outdoors, so plan for bugs and come prepared. On Sandy Beach,...

Glendo State Park paid $51 to get in and it is nothing more than a lake a bunch of rocks a bunch of dirt and not much Else halls Marina is ridiculously overpriced if you come here make sure you get into one of the campgrounds that has some trees and beach access

We arrived at dusk, and it's dark under the trees near the water. People are making campfires everywhere, and all is lively. Lots of youngsters coming down to be beach of the lake to spend their weekend, or so it seemed. The site we had will only take smaller RV's so you'd better check that beforehand. When it comes to...

I haven't been there in a while but what I remember is that if you rent a boat and cast onto the water for a day, it's amazing please visit if you ever get the chance to. Please please please do visit.

Sure this place is busy, but once you've experienced it, you know why! It is absolutely beautiful and the perfect weekend getaway! We went with 2 other couples, 4 dogs and 2 teenagers - all had a fabulous time! + we plan to squeeze in another trip before summer is up. Recommendations: 1 - remember, you are CAMPING! this isn't...

We paid 17 dollars for one night out of state fee. That is a high fee for no facilities. The bathrooms are disgusting and not enough for the 400 spots. Pit toilets, few water faucets, mice, dead birds, horrible smell! Pit toilets do not need to be that gross. The bike trails are fun but not leveled correctly. We were...

Live in Wyoming and have been going to glendo for year's but the last couple of years have been a nightmare, first off they convince you to buy a year camping and car pass for $73.00 and forget to tell you the park is basically full, so you Findley find a spot, no lake in site. My daughter and her...

We spent Labor Day weekend at glendo - arrived on Thursday afternoon and left Monday. I think this is the 10th or 11th summer we have camped at glendo. Stayed at two moons campground this time. Didn't have reservations but found a great campsite. My only complaint is the trash left at the campsite from previous campers. How hard can...

We have been going to Glendo for 4 years now, I pretty sure this will be our last year there. The 4 years that we have been going we get hassled by the park rangers. Up keep of the camping area's are horrible, and they want us to camp in weeds, broken glass everywhere and trash in the camp spots....

A stop in the Glendo, Wyoming area added yet another spot to our Lewis & Clark like “See-America” travels via route 319 and I-25. Not Mayberry USA but it is a good tourist area with the State Park offering cliché water activities and some picturesque views. Conveniently located almost midway between Casper, WY and, Cheyenne, WY is the rustic town...
