Front desk staff are incredibly helpful. Two bedroom suite has full sized refrigerator, oven, 5 burner stove top, and dishwasher. Main lobby is warmly decorated and has a fireplace with cozy sofas. Breakfast has fresh fruit and occasionally boiled eggs. The scrambled eggs are from a mix and do not taste good. Bigelow tea and coffee available all day long. It's across the street from the Camplex, which has events every weekend and even in the winter, there are sometimes rodeos.

Just happened to come upon this little gem driving across Wyoming! Ended up booking through a 3rd party site but we’re pleasantly surprised how amazing this place was for the price! The front desk host was welcoming and friendly. We were told there was complimentary laundry on site, a nice bonus when you’re on an extended cross country road trip! While our laundry was being washed, we soaked our sore, tired feet in the hot tub! The pool was huge and the cleanest hotel pool I’ve ever seen, plus lots of seating areas.
We enjoyed a discount at Pokey’s with our guest card, which was nice. We had a delicious breakfast and have never seen this but there were fountain beverages (Diet Pepsi, etc) available at the dining area…FOR FREE!! Don’t know when we’ll pass through this way again but if we do, this will be where we stay, FOR SURE!

We had a suite of two rooms with kitchen, two bathrooms and a lounge area which were all comfortable and clean so no complaints about that.
Why are American pillows so large? You end up with neck ache after a night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. My other observation is why are so many American hotels so brown. Everything is dark and depressing - but I don't have to live there.
Breakfast was ok and we enjoyed our one night

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. I've never had the question asked about the colors we have here. Maybe it is because it matches with so many things and it is a neutral color. I loved reading your review. We hope you had a safe trip home and that you will visit again!

My wife and I just moved here six months ago and she has been non-stop with absolutely everything since then. She needed a break. So, I booked one of your most expensive suites for that break. However, it wasn’t not only a break – it added a ton of additional stress and turned a weekend she had been looking forward to into a major disappointment, that only served to add to her stress levels.
• The attached is our text message string. Her experience was so bad – she cried and just wanted to come home. From your hotel. A full day early.
• The fireplace didn’t work immediately upon arrival. There were no directions. There wasn’t a remote.
o After struggling for half an hour (before being able to unpack her suitcase even since the room wasn’t warm), she struggled with this.
o It took two hotel employees another half an hour to finally discover a ‘hidden’ switch around the corner.
o A placard on the mantel and/or a sign informing one of a switch a spell aways from the actual fireplace would be extremely helpful to guests.
• The room wasn’t warm nor did the fireplace emit enough heat to warm the room.
• Because of the lack of heat, the jacuzzi room was colder than the bedroom. Made for a very unpleasant jacuzzi experience.
• The refrigerator made a loud BUZZING noise and had to be unplugged just to be able to get to sleep.
o She had perishable food items she brought and those items perished as a result.
• For breakfast the following morning, the pancake machine ‘exploded’. She waited for half an hour for it to get fixed. It didn’t within that time so she didn’t get to eat breakfast.
• You have your suites at the same location as your standard rooms. This meant that when school buses full of children got up in the morning – my wife’s entire bedroom was full of loud banging doors, people yelling in the hallways outside of her door et cetera and she couldn’t get rest nor could she even read a book it was so loud and ear pounding.
• You allow pets. I respect this as a pet owner. However, you had not one, but two guests with dogs directly adjacent to Jamie’s room and BOTH had dogs that were barking incessantly for hours upon hours. We have video of the dogs barking if you’d like to view them.
o We called staff and they eventually quieted the dogs.

It amazes me that we went above and beyond with chocolates on your wife’s pillow because you said she loved chocolate, immediately took care of another guests dogs barking, showed her where the light switch was for the fireplace and took care of any request she had, but yet you feel the need to try to make our privately owned small business look awful when we did nothing but meet and exceed your wife’s requests. You failed to attach the text messages you sent me where your wife was upset that door dash didn’t get things right which we have nothing to do with, and that is why she wanted to come home. Why anyone would unplug their fridge knowing they have food in it is beyond me when we could have easily brought another one to your room. Most people don’t sleep in the same room as their fridge, so they don’t realize that they make some noise. Unfortunately, we have no control where our suites are located in our building and as we spoke on the phone, we can’t give out information that we have teams staying with us the same time you wanted to book. The kids were very respectful during quiet hours. And again, as we said you have to expect some kind of noise during the day at a hotel. People are staying here and housekeepers do have to clean rooms. It sounds like we just can’t meet your needs at all here in a hotel. My suggestion is to maybe try a bed and breakfast for a place that will maybe have 2 or 3 rooms at a time.

Reserved King suite for 4 night stay. First night bed was horrible, asked to check out after first night only to find that our entire stay was non-refundable. We had booked by calling the hotel direct. Nowhere on anything we signed does it say this. Was told King mattresses were in the process of being replaced, ours had not and was moved to a much smaller Queen room, still charged for the Suite. Attempted to contact GM by email, not permitted to contact by phone. Rcvd brief response "will contact you soon". No room cleaning "due to COVID", desk clerk had to be tracked down every time. Still no response from GM. Moved to a reputable chain hotel after our non-refundable stay was up with all the same amenities only our Room was cleaned daily, more updated hotel, friendlier staff and $30/night cheaper.

Sub-par stay. Not the welcoming homey feel other reviews had made us expect. Cancelled our other room in town when we saw the reviews for this one & the location! Made us wear a bracelet throughout duration of our stay to prove we were staying there! Paid over $170+ a night for 5 nights and didn’t use the pool, breakfast, or workout center throughout most of our stay due to front desk requiring we wear wristbands that bled through when wet! While staff was friendly this was ridiculous! If you were concerned about this, you should have let people know upon booking! Printer in business area didn’t work, no privacy, 1 slow elevator, they charge for a toothbrush when requested! Whole stay was ridiculous! Decent parking and location for our event was handy otherwise don’t have much positive to say!

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us at the Arbuckle Lodge. I apologized the wristband was an inconvenience for you. Since we are located directly across the street from the Cam-Plex where there are thousands of campers, we have to control our situation as best we can. We have learned that the campers like to come over and eat the breakfast, use the pool, use the laundry facilities, workout room, bathrooms and more that our guests pay for, and we do not want our guests to suffer and not be able to utilize the amenities they pay for because people sneak in and act like they are guests. I hope that this explains a little more as to why we needed to have the wristbands. Again, I am sorry it was inconvenient for you, but we wanted you to be able to enjoy all of our amenities.

On June 9, 2020 I called Arbuckle lodge and spoke to Jordan. I reserved a 2 BR, Family Suite Apartment with a full kitchen. A full kitchen is necessary when going out of town, because my son has life threatening food allergies to milk, egg and fish. Thus, we dont eat out and cook his food. If I was told there was none available, I would have called other hotels in the area which had kitchens as well. I received a confirmation email and I thought all was good. I showed up to check in on June 19, 2020 and was told by Jade, no I have you down for two rooms. She told me several times the apartment was way bigger and had more amenities than the two rooms she was giving me. I said this is not what I reserved and showed her confirmation! She tried to call manager, no answer. She then called Jordan who came to the front desk. I said to him to recall our conversation, nothing had anything to do with what I was requesting wasnt available. I asked for extra cleaning to ensure there was no asthma issues with my son or food left around. He started to smart mouth me and say things, and Jade had to tell him to be quiet. I asked for a call from the Manager. After 9pm Jade called the room and asked me to come sign a form, that to get a call from the Manager I had to sign the form, guest complaint that she already filled out. I added to it. Next day I repeatedly went to the desk and asked for the Manager to call me. I got a call that evening in which she said she could only take $60 off and had to contact her General Manager. In the mean time, I was still being charged for the apartment. I was told "well you got 2 rooms." 2 rooms with way smaller space, not a full frig or kitchen as I reserved and paid for. Online I looked at the price of the room we were in and it was $76. I asked to price match. She said she would call me back Sunday. It rang once, hung up, I called back and Jade answered and said she would have her manager call me. Nothing. I contacted the Manager and the hotel June 24, and got calls late at night, and I returned them the morning of June 25. I was told by Kayla the Manager that her GM said no she could not lower the prices. I do not feel it is fair, when online was cheaper, I was lied to by the hotel. I had to go to Walmart and spend $80 extra dollars for a skillet, spatula and other kitchen items to make it work for the 3 days to feed my son. And on top of it charged for a Apartment I did not get or see. Another family reserved their room after us, and was given the apartment. Where is the customer service and honesty?

Stayed just one night while passing through the area. Very clean property, very helpful and friendly staff, nice amenities. Desiree' was very knowledgeable of the property and the area, recommending a great place for dinner (The Coop) with perfect directions. She also was able to give us a complimentary upgrade on our King room to a suite, which was nicely appointed and included a kitchenette complete with microwave, hot plate, crockpot and dishes. The bathroom amenities are upscale from typical items at this price point. They serve a nice hot breakfast and have a great coffee bar with multiple flavoring syrups. I would consider this a very good value. We will stay here again!

Arbuckle Lodge is a pretty nice place, certainly above the average hotel experience.
The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Plenty of amenities: fridge, microwave, and all the usuals (tv, etc).
Didn’t use the pool area, but it looked nice. Fitness center was a little small, but hey: they got one! And all the equipment in there was in good working condition. Very nice guest laundry, honestly some of the best machines we’ve seen at any hotel with guest laundry.
The breakfast was reduced due to Covid, as it has been at many hotels throughout the pandemic. Despite the reduction, the breakfast they provided was still above average compared to most other hotels.
Staff was also nice and respectful. They ask that guests wear masks and use hand sanitizer before entering the building. There are multiple sanitizer stations throughout the lobby area. These rules looked largely ignored by most guests, which isn’t surprising, but it’s nice that Arbuckle Lodge makes the effort for guests who care.
I would definitely stay here again when I’m in the area and easily recommend to anyone else.

Great experience! Our room was spotless and quiet. We were traveling with a dog, and they were very welcoming to us and our dog. So many places either don’t allow dogs, charge exorbitant pet fees, or only allow dogs under 20 pounds. We were driving across the country, stopping at a different place each night, and this was by far the best experience we had. I would absolutely stay here again and I highly recommend it!

Sorry you won’t be able to stay in this great place. I would advise to contact the lodge directly, unless you booked through a third party booking. Then contact the booking service and work thru them
I think she had someone pass away in her family recently and doesn’t seem to care about the hotel anymore. Very sad. I guess people respond differently to loss. She has responded by being apathetic and the hotel ownership doesn’t seem to care. In the long run they will get burned and it will take years for them to fix the overbooking reputation. And leaving these young girls at the front desk to deal with the burden of angry customers.
We had no negative interactions with the front desk the night we stayed or the next morning. Sorry to hear anyone experienced otherwise.
Good Afternoon,
It depends on the type of reservation you purchase. Some are non-refundable, while all our group reservations have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Can you please give me a bit more information.
Yes we love cats... The pet fee is 20.00 per day. If staying over 3 days it is just 75 a week. Hope to see you soon and your cat.
Safe travel,
Laura General Manager
