Kierra Bulkley and Crystal Cundall run a great hotel. You feel like your at home when you are over a 1000 miles away. The rooms are super clean an up to date. Beds are very comfortable. The staff is super super friendly. The pantry is well stocked and has a wide variety of foods for that late night or early morning snack. This is one of the best IHG hotel chains I have stayed at. Thank you guys for a great stay and we will be back.
From checkin to room assignment to answering questions about town to seeing a room that is clean, neat, roomy and very attractive. It has a work station for business, a desk chair, a comfortable easy chair and a great bed. Also the amenities of stove, fridge-full size and a dishwasher. Clearly a great place to stay.
Disappointing to have front desk clerk without face protection. Hotels are supposed to be bending over backwards to make things sanitary and make customers feel comfortable. Hand sanitizer is available, but no masks are NOT ok. To bad because rooms are nice and comfortable. When folks from all over the country are staying here you need to take Civod 19 seriously and wear masks to protect others even if you don't like it.
This was a great value for the money we paid. We were traveling cross country with three dogs and the king suite was wonderful. The room was clean, large, well-stocked. We, and our dogs, were very comfortable in it. My only complaint is that you have to use the side doors to bring your pets in/out and juggling dogs and trying to use my key card whilst simultaneously holding open the plastic cover over the card reader was really difficult. The ramp to the parking lot was super icy, and, while I know it's winter, if you are telling people that's how they need to enter/exit with pets, it should have been better maintained. Other than that, it was just what we expected.
We stayed at this hotel yesterday and will most likely look up other Candlewood hotels on our way through the US. Very clean, very very well priced, the suite offers convenience and room to exhale, free laundry and gym facilities, walking distance from many restaurants, shops and take aways. The window also opens a bit which is important to us as we hate aircons. The huge fridge/freezer in the room has its own ice maker built in. The room has a coffee machine, massive microwave oven, stove, table, tv, huge soft bed and big closet. You can easily stay here with comfort for an extended period. Additional supplies are availalable in the honesty shop downstairs. Great find. Happy travellers.
The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. But I am sensitive to the smell of pets. Clearly pets have been allowed to the room I stayed. If you don't mind the smell, this hotel is great for you.
I had a pet and they were very friendly. The place was very clean and so was the room. The room was a true suite. The bed was very comfortable and supportive. It wasn't soft at all, which is what I like. It had a coffee maker and not a Keurig. I don't like keurigs! I would stay here again, as long as it stays like this.
Check in/out quick and easy. Friendly reception from staff who offered us a very good restaurant recommendation along with a coupon/discount that saved us a few bucks. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. Mini kitchen was more than we needed but would probably be appreciated by someone with a lengthier stay. DVD player in room and DVD's in lobby which I believe were complimentary to borrow. Large laundry room off lobby looked well illuminated and maintained as well though we did not use them. Convenient parking near front entry. Very good value for all that was provided.
You can't find a nicer hotel for the value that you get here. It was clean, the room was very large and the bathroom was nice and clean as well. The only negative the front desk isn't staff, had to wait/ring the bell when checking in and later we needed to ask some questions. But other than that the staff was friendly and took care our needs. Lots of restaurants near by and easy access to highway. BUT - NOTE TO SELF: We were put into a smoking room (cough, cough) we should gone to the front desk and demanded a non-smoking room (our mistake). YUCK cant believe they still have smoking rooms. Anyways we thought could handle it and didn't want go thru the hassle of changing rooms - never again will I make that mistake. Otherwise - excellent stay, highly recommend staying there.
I've stayed at a few Candlewood Suites around the country and find them to be a good value. Room was clean, spacious, nice to have a real fridge, microwave, etc. Location right across parking lot from Jimmy John's subs, and a few blocks to everything else. Hotel frequented by the oil and gas industry service companies but but weren't obnoxious as they have been in Louisiana. Anyway, would recommend this hotel.
