The Trail's End Motel is a nice clean motel beside a beautiful river. There is a microwave and frig. in the room, but no hair dryer. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no air conditioner, but the room cooled off around midnight(so it really wasn't necessary). Breakfast can be purchased next door.

We LOVED our stay at Trails End Motel! It was just for one night, but wished it was longer. We found Trails End on Trip Advisor and took a chance staying at a smaller motel. We were impressed with the attention to the landscaping and beautiful flowers. The rustic decor was so comfortable and the extra touch of having luxury... More

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are small and no air-conditioning but you likely won't need it. We had a microwave and fridge. Our stay was comfortable and Scott and Tammy were great hosts. Be sure and walk up the street and check out the giant Jackalope.

I paid cash at start of week, to get a discount. They gave me the "lawyer's rate" before the discount-- a good $45 per night more than they prob charged others. Before I booked, I kept asking about the cancellation policy. Wouldn't tell, wouldn't tell. (Worst personalities to be hosts for a hotel-- they consistently ignore the front bell) Finally,... More

When I found this place, I had originally been looking for a cabin to rent. I mean, what's a trip to the mountains without a cabin? When I couldn't find what I wanted in a cabin, I started looking for alternatives. This place came up as highly recommended PLUS I liked that people were saying that it was family-owned/ran. We... OK room, but no air conditioning. The room was clean but very dated. Room was small and cramped. Convenient to Dubois town. I attempted to get my money back but owner would not unless she could rent the room. So we ended up staying. Owner placed a very small fan in our room window. At $150 a night felt over... More

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was quaint, clean, had everything we needed, the decor was appealing with a western theme, and the bathroom was renovated. The staff was especially helpful. I had forgotten my wedding band on the night table, and only realized it after we left and we were a few hours away. I called the... More

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, cool patio for guests to hang out on by the river, and comfortable room/bed. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again should we travel through Dubois again in the future. It was a quaint and cozy little place.

We were in Dubois to meet the artist, Tom Lucas. My wife found this lovely place, and got a room in the back. Wonderful. Watching the full moon rise on the Wind River while enjoying a cocktail on the back deck was something we'll always remember. This isn't a Best Western on the freeway; it's a charming, family owned place... More
