The Twin Pines Lodge and Cabins was built by local Tie Hackers in the early 1930's. The cabins and lodge have been remodeled with modern amenities, but maintains the rustic feel. Lots of parking, playground for the kids and a firepit for a relaxing evening around the campfire. FREE Breakfast! Downtown Dubois, so walking to dinner or our many shops is just a few blocks. Enjoy our wooden boardwalk and step back into time in this rustic Western Town.

The room was large and comfortable! Excellent amenities and spotless clean! A very large room with beautiful burl headboard. Verrry comfortable. Staff were helpful and very friendly! The lodge is a treasure! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a rustic stay to say the least. Cabin was small and cramped. No air conditioning and the shower was small. Our room was not cleaned one day. One bar of soap and small bottle of shampoo was provided during a 3 night stay. Breakfast was okay, bagels, muffins, cereal and toast.

I rented a cabin for the night. It was basically a duplex but I noticed the cabin next door was alone. I highly recommend asking for it. I could hear the people next door using the bathroom all night. Mine was clean, although very small for a guy my size. Im 6'4" and heavy so their tiny toilets, although quaint, weren't exactly comfortable. Likewise, the showerhead blew at my chest rather than my head. The only other complaint I have is the bed. It must be a few decades old as it squeaked loudly and was very bouncy. After laying down for awhile I got acid reflux because the head end of the bed was weak, and therefore I was laying on a downslope. I simply turned around on the bed and no more problem. The sheets, comforter, and pillows were EXTREMELY comfortable. Could not ask for better linens. Except for the neighbors it was a very quiet and peaceful stay, and at a decent price for the area. Although I got in late and couldn't partake, I did notice many restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Clerk was quick and professional. I'd definitely recommend for normal-sized people.

This was such a sweet little place to stay. We had a cabin with a king bed. The bed was very comfortable! The room was exceptionally clean. It was very quiet and relaxing in early August. The room had everything we needed, including a fan. We did not partake in the breakfast offered. The restaurants in the area were all amazing! Great for a relaxing, quiet stay or a romantic getaway. Totally private when you have your own cabin. This will be our new favorite! :)

Verbally promised a jetted tub. But didn't make it on to the reservation. So beware. Check all of the fine print. Right on main road so super road noise. Windows don't lock. No air conditioning. Rely on opening windows and a fan for circulation.

Hello, Sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us at the Twin Pines. I wish I knew which room you were in, as I don't know of any where the windows don't lock. We will definitely be checking into it. Two of our Rooms in the lodge do have the jetted tubs and are designated suites. We don't have AC normally through out the summer it gets down in the 50's at night for years we have not needed air conditioning. Thank you for your feedback its greatly appreciated, We do have cabins behind the lodge that is further away from the road that are quiet. Thanks, Mike and Jen
