My husband and I stayed here and arrived after 9 at night.. It was smelly, dirty, the shower stall leaked and had a large puddle in front of it! We had to wipe it up with their towel in order to safely use the bathroom! The double bed mattress was lumpy and the blanket and bedspread were old and thin. We... More

Come on people, clean, clean, clean! That's really all I ask; most important. Found hair in the shower and a used piece of soap with hair. Needless to say, I was using my disinfecting wipes to clean the place myself. And, the pillows, mattresses and blankets must be as old as the motel itself; say 1950's? Same with the carpet.... More

Didn't have a choice on where to stay as the company took care of the details. Service was poor (I have other words for it) and it seemed they just didn't care. I seriously question the Electrical Code in this place as the had a one electical strip filled with several plugs. Very few outlets. Beds were poor with piss... More

I always check out the showers first and I should have left right then! Moldy and nasty about covers it. Even a good coat of paint couldn't fix these babies! The mat on the floor had black gross mold growing underneath it. Since we were only here for one night, I went and bought flip flops to wear in the... More

We stayed here 2 weeks ago while visiting Yellowstone. It was very dirty and moldy my allergies were terrible the whole time there. On returning home I received my credit card bill. They charged my credit card 3 times for a one time stay! When I called them they blew me off. I now have to deal with a 442.00... More

Cute, rustic cabins but not very clean. Dirty carpet, dingy bedding and mouldy shower stall. In fact no one wanted to even use the shower! Advertised free wi-if but it was slow to non existent-sit outside office if you want a better signal. Owners were very friendly - suggest you look for a better place unless you don't mind old,... We stayed here 2 nights while visiting Yellowstone, which is a little over an hour away. We were greeted immediately by the friendliest staff! Check in was quick, easy and staff had many recommendations for the area. The grounds are clean and its walking distance to town. The rooms do need some help. They have a lot of cabin-like charm... We chose the Branding Iron because of the previous reviews stating it was "old but clean." We like to try places other than large chain motels and appreciate family run establishments. I loved the log cabin walls and charm of the rooms like the old doors and windows. But we took a gamble and we lost this time. The staff... More

Forget going to Jackson before heading into the Tetons/Yellowstone, Dubois is a little quaint town that's a perfect pit stop. We stayed one night in a standard room, which was very large and also had a good sized bathroom. We were facing the road and were slightly worried about noise but that wasn't an issue at all. The room had... More

I chose Branding Iron Inn not only for their very competitive rates but also because I wanted to get the feel of "the West". The cabins are definitely old but well maintained. I think their look and age adds charm. It can get tiring and really boring staying at those cookie cutter motels spread out all over the country. This... More
