Brooks Lake Lodge, the setting, the staff...everything is amazing. You know you have arrived in a magical place when you arrive. Anything you want to do basically possible, and the staff will make it happen. We went for three nights for our 30th anniversary, and had a fantastic time. I then returned two weeks later with my daughter who was visiting for a day of snowmobiling. It felt like returning home. Everyone made sure our daughter had a great time and really got to see the beauty of Wyoming! Everyone was great but a special shoutout to the new GM Matthew, Natasha, Jared and Miles.
Stopped here yesterday for a great lunch after a morning of snowmobiling. Real nice menu and great ambiance around the huge fireplace. Kobe beef burgers, Duck natcho’sare very good. You will see some of the greatest scenery on your way there. This is our second time here on a snowmobile and it is on the top of our list of “things to do “.
We decided to do 5 days of snowmobiling in Wyoming. We saw Yellowstone and then made our way up to the lodge. It was by far the best part of our trip. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like family. The Spa was wonderful. Jo is a knowledgeable massage therapist who tailors each session to your needs. The hot tub was amazing. There’s no other experience like sitting in a hot tub when it’s less than 10 degrees out watching the mountains disappear behind snow then reappear again. A highlight for us though was Ice Fishing. Max is wonderful. Attentive and helpful but never makes you feel like you are being coddled. He was great company and made you feel like friends immediately. If you ever come up to the lodge go Ice fishing with Max.
Our family stayed at Brooks Lake for 3 nights at the beginning of a grand tour of the American West. The Lodge is in a beautiful, remote location (though the drive from Jackson was fairly easy) with serene views of the surrounding mountains and the lake. The Lodge itself is charming and rustic, but very well appointed and the rooms are very comfortable. The food was outstanding, particularly for a place in the middle of nowhere - the elk steak was particularly memorable. We took full advantage of all of the activities, including horseback riding, fly fishing, archery, and canoeing, all set in the beautiful scenery. But the best part of the experience was the very warm and friendly staff. The manager personally greeted us and everyone from the guides, to the desk, and dining staff always gave us a friendly "howdy" and were ready to help with anything. It is pretty pricey, but given that all of the meals and activities were included, and the quality of the overall experience, and level of comfort in such a remote location, it was well worth it. It was a fantastic way to start our Western adventure.…
Wow what a great place to visit, we were taken care of from the time we arrived until departure. The staff was very friendly and was always there if you had questions. The horse riding was great with experienced guides. The food was always a treat and the spa was the best. What a beautiful place.
