We have stayed at this motel several times over the last 12 years. The room was very clean, spacious and well appointed, but the reception we got upon checking in and later to ask for information was very haughty, cold and unwelcoming. The receptionist acted like we were bothering her by checking in and asking questions. The website comes up as pet friendly. We have a dog and that’s why I chose this accommodation. When checking in the lady said very emphatically that they did not accept dogs and if there was any evidence found in our room of a dog being in the room we would be charged a huge fee. She informed me that the pet friendly only pertained to the campground attached. This put us In a real bind. If we didn’t stay there we got no refund back. Luckily we knew someone in town who was willing to keep our dog overnight. Again, the reception we got even before the dog issue was very unfriendly and unwelcoming…
Great lodging…wonderful location…comfortable rooms. Very clean, friendly staff, scenic, close to town. We just stayed overnight, but I’d love to stay longer and explore the area more. RV area looked great. Rooms had everything you need…lived the frig and microwave!
Well maintained property. Honestly not the style of hotel we usually stay at, but we got a 2 queen unit in the main building and were impressed with how clean and well maintained it was. Was actually fun to park directly outside our unit (like we used to when I traveled as a child). No breakfast provided, but that was not a problem as we knew in advance and brought cereal and milk. Staff was pleasant. We felt safe and comfortable.
Gorgeous peaceful setting on the beautiful Wind River. Room was nicely appointed and rustic. Resort staff were very helpful. A great jumping off point for the new National Museum of Military Vehicles. We enjoyed the entire experience very much and would certainly stay there again.
We ara a couple from Norway in a 14 days roadtrip in the north state U.S. We organize car/motorcycle-trips and looking for new places We have been looking all day for a place like this ranch. Wen we get there the lady in reseption dont make us feel welcome at all. The room was also very expensive. But we choose to stay after all because it was a nice place. I go back to the lady later the evening to ask if it was possible to pay ekstra to keep the room a hour later in the morning (check out time was 10) But that was not possible! Then i asked if we could stay a few hours by the river next day to relax. It was a stupid question if we were planning to leave. If so we have to pay for one extra night. This could really have been a nice stay and a place we bring other groups. But this place we never go back to. Sorry!…
My husband and I are on a long RV trip. We traveled from Tennessee to Colorado and from there to Wyoming. When I booked this RV park I wanted something away from any noise but near a town. This park is also a motel. Since we stand in RV sites I can not attest to the rooms. We enjoyed our site which backed up to the river. We could sit outside and watch the river go by and watch the different animals running around. The sites are gravel but it is well maintained and everything is very clean. There are a lot of trees so I can see that could be a difficulty for some RV’s. But there is a RV park right down the road that is all gravel and no trees personally we prefer this country feeling. The laundry room is clean and well maintained I do wish there was a folding table and maybe a chair but that’s just a minor thing. The park has plenty of open space for people to run around and it’s peaceful. Now the distance to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone is a different matter. It’s over an hour to the Grand Tetons and at least 2 to the southern Yellowstone entrances. It can get tiresome as well as right now expensive going back and forth from here. But the drive is really beautiful. Grand Tetons are amazing. Also we had really good WIFI here at this park.…
Awesome room with two beds and full kitchen, plenty of hot water and all of the kitchen utensils and cookware you could need to prepare your own meals and save a ton on eating every meal out during multiple night stays. The staff was super-friendly and welcoming and even brought extra coffee pods (single serve) by for us. The bathroom has dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash which beats the heck out of the lame little plastic bottles. There’s a normal hairdryer in a bag on the back of the bathroom door. Nice western decor and the room was clean and had a nice aroma of natural wood. Couldn’t have been happier! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Cozy, clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our view from outside. The room was nice for what we needed. Of all our stays on our trip, 5, this was by far the best!
The room was very clean and stocked and the heater worked great! Kayla was very welcoming and friendly. I ran into vehicle issues (broken ignition and door key) upon arrival. She went out of her way to help me contact surrounding key businesses to help me get a new key. I was 10 hours from home and panicked. The key issue was resolved. During the time I was stuck w/o a vehicle, she and her staff helped us get to town for some essentials. Great people and place!
The lodge rooms are so well done and clean. The staff are very friendly. Do yourself a favor stay here. And so close to THE NATIONAL MILITARY VEHICLE MUSEUM which is a must see 10 star museum. Don't miss either.
