Usually we stay in our RV but timing of this trip required other accommodations so I booked a camping cabin. Having worked at other KOA's I expected the typical cabin but cabin 2 isn't. The inside was finished with a fir paneling and the floor was LVT. No air leaks from around logs on the walls or the floor. The... More

We have done slot of camping this month and this campground was beyond any of our expectations. We showed up without reservations and the owners were so welcoming. Each site has its own patch of grass and flower pots that make you feel warm and welcomed. Everything was clean and well kept. I would go back anytime I'm in the... More

The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The site was level and inviting with hook ups, green grass plot and trash cans enclosed at each site. Dog run was very well maintained and are dog usually does not like dog runs but she had a good time at this one.

We stayed at the Jackalope KOA and took our pictures with the Jackalope by the office! Not much green space or shade but it was easy to get to and the showers were nice. The best part was the fenced in dog run. My pooch and I went over a couple of times and worked out kinks from traveling. Plus,... More

There is a pool of water treatment behind koa that gives a strong oder throughout. The people are awesome, the facility is emasculate and the facilities are perfect. However if/when the wind blows it is not a comfortable smell to be in the midst of. They help the community but the smell is hard to overcome.

Even for a quick overnight stop this KOA is just barely passable. The location lends itself to smells that must have been from a feedlot. If not cattle, I can't imagine what it was. Since it's a big gravel lot you'd think all the sites would be level but they aren't. The restroom facilities are not that bad but could... More

This was our second stay at a KOA. Our first stay at a KOA was a fabulous experience so we tried out this KOA for our return trip from Yellowstone to Colorado. The plus to this KOA: Very friendly staff, the price was only around $25 for a family of five to use a site for a popup tent camper... More

Checked in after hours. They set us up in an easy to pull in space. Very clean and quiet. Grounds are nice and everyone is very friendly. Would stay here again. We frequent many KOA campgrounds and this is by far one of the best stopover spots that we have enjoyed. Congrats Douglas KOA, this is a great Journey!

We spent two nights here and really had a great time. The campground is well run by efficient and friendly folks who make sure you have every thing you need. Loved our experience and would definitely stop here again if in the area.

Recently spent 3 nights at this KOA and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground was clean. Many RV sites have a small lawn and those that don't are getting one installed. The location is away from the interstate which makes it quiet. If you need something from town, you're only 1 1/2 miles away. The... More
