The facility is dirty. The dining help is so poor the owners just as well save their money and not hire any of them. The wait staff doesn't even know whose table is theirs. No silverware. No water refills. The buffet items are COLD.

We stayed at the Bear Lodge for one night on a layover on our way to Cody, WY. My husband had seen this place years ago and had always wanted to check it out, but we didn't get back to Burgess Junction until this year, so we thought we'd give it a try. I had read all the terrible reviews... More

Spent this last weekend (Friday and Saturday) for a family reunion. I will list the good things first because there was so few. The pies there are to die for and many travel tour buses stop JUST for the pies and Big Mike makes the best omelets and waffles around. Now for the bad which I won't list all. When... More

Stayed two days to get some four wheeling in. Long waits in the lodge due to one register for both hotel and restaurant. Food was just ok, but the lack of staff was very noticeable. Love the location for what we had going, but the rooms seamed barely clean and bathrooms were run down. Cabins needed stained, and campground was... More

We stopped here for lunch on our drive through the Bighorn Mountains . In the cabin-like restaurant we found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Our hamburgers were tasty. They had a pie case with some tempting offers if one had room for dessert.

The place is filthy. A power washer to everything inside and out would help tremendously. Soap, water and a good power washer are not that expensive. Friends checked out after one night with no hot water, filthy bathroom, etc. It is baffling how a place with such great potential is so neglected.

We stayed here as a family in 2015 and 2016 as my husband was running the Bighorn 100. The first summer we stayed in a cabin that was almost uninhabitable. I pulled the camping tarp out of our tent equipment and laid that over the carpet as a barrier. We also opted to sleep in our sleeping bags (on top... More

In fairness, we stayed at Arrowhead Lodge which at the time is owned by Bear Lodge but was in the process of being sold. The room was somewhat clean although the sheets, carpets, and blankets were so old that there were inevitable stains that couldn't be removed. The shower had been repaired from water leaks and done poorly. Mold was... More

We stayed here on the last day of a 6 day bicycle tour. Check in is completely disorganized. They have one desk that handles everything, from has purchases to hotel check-ins, to restaurant checks. There was one guy meaning this desk and he was hopelessly overwhelmed. The food at the restaurant was ok and the service was great. The rooms... More

This resort primarily caters to ATV clientele. Don't expect a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy nearby hiking trails. They are all full of ATVSs. This is not the fault of the resort, however, the condition of the facility is. The grounds are not maintained. The walls in our bathroom had been painted from the ceiling to about mid... More
