We stayed here on the last day of a 6 day bicycle tour. Check in is completely disorganized. They have one desk that handles everything, from has purchases to hotel check-ins, to restaurant checks. There was one guy meaning this desk and he was hopelessly overwhelmed. The food at the restaurant was ok and the service was great. The rooms... More

This resort primarily caters to ATV clientele. Don't expect a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy nearby hiking trails. They are all full of ATVSs. This is not the fault of the resort, however, the condition of the facility is. The grounds are not maintained. The walls in our bathroom had been painted from the ceiling to about mid... More

We really enjoy the ride up the mountain and then a nice meal here at the lodge. Its great stop and affordable.Wait staff is usually a little green (new) but they try really hard to make sure your meal/experience is pleasant.

We were passing through the park and needed a room for the night. while the staff was friendly, they are over taxed by the few customers that were there. The check in took 15 minutes! The dining room was the only place to eat and the food was acceptable, the waiter was literally running between tables to keep things moving.... More

While on a bus tour of the national parks we passed through the area and stopped here for both lunch and rest stop. The place was nicely done in a lodge style and while others had snacks and pies and shopped in the gift shop, I stopped at the bar area for a taste of the local beer. They gave... More

Our party of 6 was going to arrive at 8pm so we called ahead to see if we would be able to order food when we arrived. We were told "probably not" so we made other arrangements. (turned out we could have but oh well) This is far from everything so bring food with you. The woman was accommodating at... More

While the cabins seem to get good ratings, the motel section is terrible. about all that can be said for it is the staff keep the rooms clean. Np towel racks, 3 people crammed into small space, peeling wall paper and paint - and so on. A small coffee pot but few outlets so one has to unplug the TV... More

Called less than a month in advance to book a cabin for my family to stay on Labor Day. I read the reviews so we were a little apprehensive about staying here but it was a convenient spot to stop for the night. I was glad we did after we got in there. It was a quaint little cabin and... More

Bear Lodge has some wonderful pies. We stopped here on a drive for a break and had to have some pie. Did I mention they have pie? Try the Huckleberry Pie, really! There are places to stay and RVs can nestle in, but this seems more like a day stop place dusting the non-snow months. It's a good place to... More

What a shame! This RV park could be outstanding. The sites are wide and tucked among tall pines. Unfortunately, the sites where the lodge workers live are pig sties. Junk all over. And not only are the permanent sites an eyesore, but all through the park are piles of debris - piles of discarded wood, rusted machinery and anything they... More
