Nice large grassy sites with lots of trees & shade. It feels like a flashback to another era, & that’s a good thing. In some ways, some things could be upgraded, but I kind of like it just the way it is. It's quiet & clean. The bathrooms are dated, but clean with plenty of hot water to shower. There...

Campground area is nice enough so RV or tent is fine. The "cabins" are not clean, not modern, not rustic but are just plain nasty. Duck tape patching wall holes, sheet rock missing or damaged in some areas, carpet not even stapled down, beds are ancient, flimsy and noisy. The nice couple that run the place are, well, nice but...

A very quaint location with service similar to what "your grandparents had" - expect a campground along the Tongue River, near the city park, it offers great views, a good campsite and the hometown feel.

We traveled from Arizona to Wyoming with this place in mind for our final destination! Just as the pictures show, the cabins are older but clean and fully functioning. We had a large fifth wheel and were able to park pretty close to the water. One drawback was the ground was pretty unleveled and it took a good driver to...

We passed through and stopped for the night on The Great American Walkabout. The owners met us and were pretty friendly, we spent some time talking and they had some great stories. Apparently Peter Fonda stops here regularly. He still loves to go on long drives on his motorcycle, and stops off here quite often. The surrounding area is stunning....

we got into Dayton, WY at midnight, planning to drive another 2 hours to Greybull. We were just plain exhausted. We called the Foothills--at midnight--and the couple who own the place answered. They set us up in cabin number 8: two bed rooms, one worn a comfy queen bed and a twin roll away, the other with two twin beds,...

This establishment helped us out in a pinch. The reservation we had made at the hotel in Ranchester was given to someone else. So at 11:00 at night, we were looking for a place to stay. The staff responded to our call, and was able to accommodate us. The rooms are old, but clean and comfy. We were pleased with...

The pictures on the website don't even begin to show how disgusting this place really is. We stayed in Cabin1 and if it wasn't for the bathroom shower being at least somewhat decent there is no way we would have ever stayed. The guests that were in Cabin 3 and 4 left after one night because the bathrooms in these...

We booked the cabins as the website photos looked okay. The reality was that we debated whether to stay in rooms that smelt musty and a kitchen that was in need of refurbishment. Insects came out of the taps in the bathroom when you turned the tap on. The only good thing was that the sheets and towels were clean....

Website showed nicely presented rooms - reality somewhat different - pictures hanging off the wall; holes in walls etc. Bathroom despite having a modern bath/shower retained the experience of the 30s. Kitchen had what should be a condemmed gas cooker in the corner. Owners appeared to not be bothered about making the place look clean at all - office smelt...
