We stayed here for five nights recently during a 13 day road trip. It was the perfect place to stay to visit Yellowstone for multiple days. We can't say enough positive things about Shoshone! We stayed in the Remington #18 and it was the perfect size for our family of three. It was very quiet and the river could be... More

We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Yellowstone; it is a bit of a drive to the first "hub" within the park, but the distance seemed to shorten as we got used to it. Compared to the busy, noisy hubs within the park, Shoshone Lodge was very quiet and peaceful. We had a 2 room cabin, each with a... More

The Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch was totally the highlight of our trip. Mike and Betsy run a wonderful outfit, perfectly blending rustic charm with home comforts. The cabins are home-y and super comfortable -- complete with a babbling brook out back. The lodge was made by Mike's great, great, great grandfather and is gorgeous. The lovely restaurant serves homemade... More

Cabin 7 has a babbling brook to lull you asleep. Nice shower and bed. Each cabin has rustic rockets on the porch. Great dinners in an old lodge that reminds you of an earlier era - just with wifi. The horseback dinner ride is a highlight: sizzling steak on campsite knoll after a wilderness trek. Low key, friendly and comfortable... More

My wife and I stayed in the Tatonka Tepee cabin for two nights, and we spent three days in Yellowstone National Park. The lodge is located only 3 miles from the East Entrance. Although it is about a 25 mile drive to the main loop within the park, it is a very scenic drive that runs along Yellowstone Lake. Our... More

The Shoshone Lodge was everything I had expected, plus more. So close, to Yellowstone, yet a lot to offer on its own. We stayed four nights, and ended up eating in the dining room each night, the food was so good. Our daughter had a blast visiting the horses several times per day, in advance of the wonderful breakfast horse... More

Our room camp Jonathan was very small and the shower was miniscule. However, the owner told us it was small when booking. The lodge's staff was very friendly and helpful. The main lodges floors were dusty and there was dust under our bed. Overall it was very charming and located close to the Yellowstone entrance. Dinner at the lodge was... More

This place looks like a real gem. We didn't stay here, but if we come back, we will. What a cute ranch, soo close to the East Enterance of Yellowstone. We only went for horseback riding. It seemed expensive, but all places were the same, so we are so glad we choose this one. The staff was were some of... More

We stayed at the lodge for our honeymoon for a week. I was so happy with the location because it was so close to the East entrance of Yellowstone. The staff was great and our cabin was awesome! I especially loved the fireplace and being able to hear the creek near by. Also the horseback riding was so cool, much... More

The lodge is very near the entrance to Yellowstone, so easy access. The food is very good in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner. The s'mores left by the campfire are a really nice touch. The rooms are ok, beds not too bad. We liked the atmosphere of the site, people very friendly, it is a little scruffy but that... More
