We had four adults and six children on a dinner horse ride this evening. The kids were 11, 9 and 6. The ride was amazing, with wonderful views and actual riding! Our guides, Hunter and Daniel, were fantastic. The youngest was very nervous about riding a horse and they put her mind at ease and talked to her the entire... More

We called this hotel based on recommendation on another nearby hotel that had no rooms available. Spoke with Mike (owner) on the phone - everything sounded perfect except there was no Air Conditioning in a room. One thing a Texan does not want to hear in mid July is "No Air Conditioning" - Mike assured me it would be OK... More

Liked the location at East Entrance of Yellowstone . Best food of our two week trip from Salt Lake to Yellowstone. Went on two hour horse ride and we had a blast. Free laundry was a plus and we needed it! Cabins were rustic but comfortable and really only crashed there after long days in the park. Staff was friendly... More

We used this lodge as our "base camp" while visiting Yellowstone NP. Our visit lasted 4 nights and was in Cabin #11. The lodge is only a few minutes from the east entrance to the park. They have several gas grills scattered throughout for guest use. Upon checking in, the staff seemed very friendly, making several recommendations on how to... More

We had a cabin that was attached to another cabin. It had a queen bed and a twin. It had a microwave and mini fridge. There is no TV and you have to pay for wifi. There is also no cell service. This was fine with us. We had absolutely no issue with the people in the cabin attached to... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfortable. Be aware before coming to this area, not just Shoshonee Lodge that you will not have any cell signal. To accommodate, they will let you make calls from the office if you need to call home (anywhere in the US) for no charge. You can... More

We stayed at elephant lodge who recommended Shoshone lodge for dinner and horseback trail ride for my grand girls. Our dinner was very good. I had a medium rare end cut of prime rib with delicious squash mix and baked potato. Service was great. Waitress kept my water filled and was around to get more wine and lemonades. After dinner... Shoshone Lodge was one of the closer places to stay at the East entrance to the Park. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very pleasant and the food in the dining room was very good. The Lodge was peaceful and they had a campfire every night with materials to make s'mores. Small details like not enough towel racks/hooks... More

We decided to take our grandkids to Yellowstone. Our first stop was Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch before entering Yellowstone park from the East entrance the next day. We loved it! Our cabin was very nice. The people and wranglers were super friendly. The food was great. We enjoyed the evening bonfire and sitting around talking with the wranglers. We... More

We had a mini-family reunion at Shoshone Lodge to visit Yellowstone and Tetons. We had cabin 12 and other family in 16. We had a nice-sized room, very comfortable beds, nice sized bath(could use more hooks), and nice picnic table to enjoy each other's company. Grills throughout the property, too. The lodge has comfortable areas to use internet/computer, piano, games... More
