This is our seventh time staying at Shoshone Lodge and we can't put into words just how wonderful it is each time we return. It is truly like coming home and it is so wonderful to see the friends we have made there when we come back. For anyone considering staying here, just book it; you will not be disappointed.... More

We stayed in one of the small cabins at the lodge. It was very quaint throwing us back in time. If you want to get away from TV, Wifi, any electronics, that is the place for you. There is a restaurant in the lodge which is a bit pricey considering the price to stay there. However, it is the closest... More

All four of us (2 grandparents and 2 granddaughters) absolutely LOVED our stay at the Shoshone Lodge! The staff was extremely welcoming and the food was delicious! I chose the Shoshone after many hours of researching dude ranches on the internet. We wanted our granddaughters to experience a pack trip in the wilderness and the Shoshone Lodge offered this overnight... More

We had a small cabin that was beautiful and very clean. This place is great! The lodge is wonderful, the restaurant was very good, and we also thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our deck and sitting by the campfire. I would definitely recommend staying here! Right in the middle of nature...we even heard an elk braying early the next morning! If... More

First, Inread a review of someone saying it was so far from the park.It is only 4 miles from the East Entrance. This is a lovely lodge with good cabins, spacious, and comfortable. It is convenient to the park,,to,Cody, and the Chief Joseph Highway. The food was fair and there was some difficulty not getting seated for dinner, but otherwise there were... More

Arrived at the ranch after an exciting trip over the Sylvan pass - not for the faint of heart! We were afraid we might get lost but this ranch is so close to the quite park entrance, right off the main road, that there is no way to miss it. What a nice place! A hunting and horseback lodge, the... More

Well worth the three hour drive from home for a two night stay. We were in cabin 21 which sports a king size bed and kitchen. Have plans to return again next year, Lord willing. This place has some history to it and the current owner is the great grandson of the founder. Built in 1924. The cabins and main... More

A truly fantastic place for an overnighter or even longer, I stayed there recently as a part of a two couples group and can't complain at all. we were always made to feel welcome and the staff couldn't have done anymore to make us feel part of the Shoshone family. There are a number of cabin configurations to suit your... More

We instantly fell in love with this stop on our national parks trip! From the moment we stepped in the lodge every employee we encountered was so nice and accommodating. We felt like family and we were only there for one night! (Note: wish we'd had MORE nights here) The cabins are very nice, and all original exterior wood from... More

I'm a local a huge problem with tons of the guest ranches is they don't have rates for one night or where you can just pay for activities you do...well this place is AWESOME! If you want an overnight cabin and a horse ride this is a great place. Totally affordable for locals. The horse ride was a ten I... More
