Chose Rimrock Ranch for many reasons. It's been around for a while, it's family run, and it's a place for return visits! Some guests had started coming there in their youth and now had families of their own. Horseriding is the main attraction and it's fabulous - especially for a greenhorn like me! Horses are steady, well cared for and experienced, the trails are challenging for both horse and rider, and the scenery is beautiful and varied. Food at the ranch just gets better as the week progresses -- ending off with a prime-rib dinner -- scrumptious. Also included is a breakfast on the trail up in the mountains. There are excursions to Yellowstone and to rafting and rodeo in Cody. The location of the ranch is to die for, and each rustic log cabin lies close to Canyon Creek which lulls one to sleep at night. There is NO TV and cellphone reception is spotty at best -- great advantages!! The cabins are well appointed each with its own hot-water geyser -- one is never lacking in hot water. And something that irks me in other hotels (but NOT at Rimrock) is that the bath and basin plus leak water!!!! All the staff are very personable and helpful from owner Dede right across to the seasonal kitchen hands who are still attending college. I look forward to returning to Rimrock with my own family at some future date. You should go there too........

This trip was so much fun and our guide Dean was great. He took us around the whole loop and we got to see so many neat things. The park is beautiful during the Winter season. I highly recommend booking a trip with this group!

Best day ever. This is the only way to visit Yellowstone and our guide Terry was excellent! Our machines ran great and all information was clear. We had our own snow gear, but upon their recommendation we also wore their snowsuits over our clothes and we were much warmer because of it. I hope to do this again. Bucket list activity!!

I contacted Gary Fales to go snowmobiling in Yellowstone Park coming in from the East of Cody. It was a great trip. My guide Dean was great, the gear was great (I was worried I'd be cold but they advised me beforehand what to bring and then they had a snowsuit, boots, gloves and helmet for me). Safety is important to them, and Dean was constantly in touch with the Rangers to ensure the weather was okay for us as it changed quickly. I highly recommend this adventure. It was a perfect day.

Choosing Gary Fales Outfitting/Rimrock Ranch for my first trip into Yellowstone and my first time snowmobiling is the best choice I could have made! They are an extremely personable and professional outfitter. I attempted to go one day, but only part of the tour route was open due to weather conditions. I was impressed with Dean’s(guide) and their concern for our safety and not just trying to keep our money by allowing our group to go home and reschedule. Their transparency about the situation made me trust them even more! A few days later I was able to come back on a beautiful partly cloudy day. Terry (guide) was so patient with me knowing nothing about snowmobiles, and was a great guide through the park. He did a wonderful job not only keeping us on schedule to maximize our trip, but also allowing ample time for pictures and just taking it all in. He was also a great teacher with the snowmobile because I felt much more confident as the day went on! The kindness and professionalism of this whole company made for a sincerely unforgettable first time in Yellowstone! 10/10 would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a winter Yellowstone adventure from the East Gate!!
