We spent a week at Crossed Sabres Ranch with our granddaughters who were 8 and 9 years old. None of us had ridden horses before nor visited a ranch. By the end of the first day both girls and my husband were riding confidently and by the end of the week, they were riding difficult trails with ease. But the experience was much more than horses. No tvs or cell service, so the kids were out running, roping, playing chase - all the things we did as kids. The staff are clean cut college and young people. The owners make you feel like family. Best vacation ever - we will be making it an annual event!

Our extended family visited for my wife's parents 50 th Anniversary, and we couldn't have had a better time. Kenny, Laura, and Garrett welcomed us into their home - a historic guest ranch nestled in the hills just outside of Yellowstone. We rode horses, fly- fished, square danced and had an overall wonderful time. The setting is breathtaking, and the wranglers patient and friendly. You will not regret a visit to this extra-special place.

Are you looking to get away from it all, and enjoy making eye-contact with your family? This is your place! Welcoming, friendly staff, no TV, no cell phone service, home-cooked meals. This family-owned and operated ranch made sure each of us had a unique western vacation, every single day. Six of us traveled during high summer, ages 15 to 70. We all had a great time with rafting, fishing, horse-back riding, hiking, and especially the horseshoes. Even with different physical abilities, each of our group had a full day of activities. I can't recommend this place enough. Staff made an extreme effort to keep the rustic themed ranch authentic. It was rare to see a bit of plastic anywhere! I appreciated that we were all issued a reusable water bottle the first day. Our millennials discovered that drinking tap water isn't the end of the world. I will be forever grateful for this travel experience.

Spent the first week of September 2019 at Crossed Sabres. Amazing week with outstanding staff/owners. Feel like we made some life long friends. Tons of activities and great meals. This was hands down the best vacation we’ve ever taken. If you’re looking for beautiful country, great hosts, awesome food and ranch style cabins by a stream, this is your best bet. We did a lot of research before choosing a ranch and the glowing reviews sold us, we were not disappointed. Thanks to Kenny, Laura, Garrett, George, Jackson, Paige,Chad and all the staff for an awesome week.
