We stayed at Terry Bison Ranch for 2 days based on reviews we found here. Since it was out of season not a lot going on. The cabin was loaded with flies, the bed had a thin mattress and you rolled to the middle, very uncomfortable. The restaurant on the premises was average but boosted about their Sunday night football... More

We dry camped in the pasture for the rodeo. With a late decision to attend the rodeo, it gave us a reasonable place to stay for a couple nights. Even thought there was a pretty good rain, the pasture area was manageable with our 37 ft 5th wheel. There are plenty of activities for families, although we didn't try any.... More

Terry Bison Ranch is minutes out of Cheyenne, Wyoming. This ranch has camp sites available, hosts weddings, and takes others on a train tour of the ranch to see the bison. The history of the ranch is interesting and we soon see the bison out a ways and the train stops. The buffalo are obviously used to the routine so... More

I stayed in a cabin three days and two nights with friends. The cabin had a refrigerator and kitchen facilities. It was cleaned by maid service each day. The ranch raises bison for food and spans the WY-CO border. Our cabin was 400 feet from the state line. The ranch features a restaurant, train rides and horseback riding. It also... More

The bison ranch was different treat for me, seeing bison up close. This prehisktoric creature is something to behold up close. We rented a very rustic cabin with a porch that overlooked the ranch and we cloud see the bison grazing. They have a train ride, that takes you through the vast landscape. The train stops and our guide beat... More

We spent an evening and part of the next day there. That was enough to see and do everything. Stayed in a cabin overlooking a herd of Buffalo. Glad we read the reviews here first, really set our expectations. Don't expect a "Resort". It's a working Ranch and is more like staying at a campground. Our cabin was a lot... More

We met up with friends from Fort Collins for lunch on our I80 travels through Cheyenne. The restaurant is large, Lisa our waitress, was very friendly. Had my first Bison burger and it rocked! It was winter, so no crowds, but could tell this could be a very busy place come summer.

I traveled alone to the Terry Bison Ranch in August 2014. I flew into Denver and drove north to enjoy the scenery. The views were magnificent. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - at check in, at the little breakfast cafe and at the burger barn (the bison burger was HUGE and delicious). I had a really nice chat... More

This is a ranch that is vertically integrated with hotel, bunkhouse, horse ride, train ride, restaurant. We only did the train today but will return for a bison steak at the restaurant tonight. The 'train' is one car powered by a car engine and makes a slow circle around to the feedlot and a pasture. And, it is GREAT! We... More

The campsites weren't great, but the whole experience made up for it. We did the train tour through buffalo herd and even ate Bison Burgers at the restaurant, which as delicious. We had a great short stay here (overnight).
