Stayed here during the baseball tournament and College Rodeo and stayed here because Expedia said it was good and it was affordable. Let me tell you Expedia lied to me like it was running for office. When you enter the lobby the odor hits you like you owe it moneybbstrobgly recommend breathing through your mouth. Trust me. Then they give me an option "pet room or smoking." I don't smoke or have a pet so this want a pleasure for me but I chose pet over smoking because they said it smells better. 🚩🚩. I chose pet room over smoking. Not sure if it was the right choice.then you walk down the creepiest hallway I've seen since the Shining. White cinder block walls and a hallway straight from prison. Not making this up. I wasn't sure if inwas going to hear a voice yell "Roll them on 4 boss" or see 2 little girls at the end saying "RedRum." After navigating cell block C to the end of the hallway I made it to my room. OMG!! The smell was a mixture of humidity, dirty carpet, pet urine, and the smell of decades of broken dreams. The room was something out of a 1970's porno/ slasher flick. It just read "Dirty". It was warm in there so I went to turn on the air. When I went to turn it on I found a piece of paper on it that read the air could not be turned on below 68° or it freezes up the A/C unit. Nope it was 98° outside and probably 78 in the room of horrors so 61° it was. This caused the A/C unit make noises that resembled monsters crawling out from the depths of hell. Over the next 2 days I walked in and out of the Lobby of horrific odors, down the prison hall, and I to the room where my A/C unit emitted sounds I assumed conjured demons and horrific smells. The breakfast was great. A fold out table with waffle mixture, a couple pastries and that's about it. Never ate it. Why did I stay you may ask. Well Expedia doesn't give refunds and other rooms were sky high due to multiple events. So if you are looking for a place to stay on a budget and COVID killed your sense of smell, this may be the place for you. Just bring holy water and an open mind. The staff were friendly though…
Look, it's a $40-some odd dollar a night hotel, so don't expect the Ritz. The fact of the matter, though, is that the beds are really comfortable, the heat/ac works well and the television, refrigerator and microwave work as you'd expect them to. Sadly, though, there was no coffee maker. This is the single thing which will, 99 times out of a 100, guarantee that I never stay at a property again. I just shouldn't have to get dressed and go to the lobby for that first cup of coffee for the day. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk, and she told me that they got rid of the coffee pots because people were stealing them. Well, it's certainly a shame that people would do that, but countless hotels in this world have figured out how to have coffee makers in their rooms, and I'm sure they suffer similar issues. A nice stay for $40 a night, but without a coffee maker, I'm pretty sure I've spent my last night here...…
When checking in told room reserved was still dirty ( after 10 pm). Clerk said she had 1 room left and it was a smoking pet friendly room like we had reserved but it was a queen room and not the double bed room we had reserved. When getting to the room it was a double not a queen but whatever. Upon checking out we are told we smoked In a non smoking room and then charged us $100 for doing so. We would suggest sleeping in your car before you stay at this motel.
Driving my son back from school in Seattle means long days of driving. We needed an inexpensive place to rest our heads as we arrived late and left early. This older hotel was perfect. The lobby does smell like smoke, but don’t let that deter you. The staff was extremely friendly. The room had no odor at all. It was comfortable and clean. A table allowed us to sit and eat somewhere other than our car during the pandemic. The wi-fi was great and a flat screen tv provided numerous channels. Speaking of the pandemic, most hotels have suspended breakfast. However, this hotel provided sealed food behind the counter and a very friendly staff person to hand it out. I highly recommend.
The manager Jordan went above and beyond to get me and my crew a weekly rate that was excellent. We spent a few months there and the rooms were always clean and tidy. Service was always friendly and Jordan would always take care of anything we needed
Hotel has escaped modernization several times. The staff were very friendly and helpful in letting you know about Casper and weather. The furniture in the room is way outdated, however there were some newer appliances in the room. The free breakfast is a few pastries, cereal, milk, OJ and coffee if its available. Good place to catch some sleep but not recommended for stays beyond overnight.
Location was right off I 25. Easily found. Beds and hotel room was very nice. Serve the purpose. Very clean kept well. Front desk guy in the evening was very gracious as well as the morning. Had a good continental breakfast. No complaints. Great value for the money. I would stay here again.
I took a chance on this motel despite some of the negative reviews and was glad I did. I had a quiet 2 night stay in a clean room that had everything I needed, fridge, microwave, window that opens for fresh air, and friendly service. Rates were really low. They offer smoking rooms as well as non-smoking, and my smoking room had very little odor.
This motel is definitely a budget motel. I feel like the written reviews are done by staff or coaxed from others. The motel is dated, dirty and in disrepair. The one up-ish side is the staff was friendly. Staff seemed shocked when I told them the room was dirty. The manager refunded my stay without me asking which was awesome. I only caution you to know what your getting. The rooms are superficial cleaned at best (see photos). The non smoking room we had came with a complimentary ashtray (bonus)! Our nonsmoking room also had a cigarette burn in the comforter. There is an exhaust fan mounted directly behind the shower head. Always a good idea to mix electricity and water not to mention the grate fell off while I was showering. Dirt and dust everywhere, old carpet rolled up and cinderblock walls. As an extra there was leftover milk in the refrigerator! We would not stay here again.…
What makes this economy motel unique is the outside structure resembles a steam boat and the motel is near the river. There is a walking path near the motel. However, do "Not" walk at night due to safety issues. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi and TV worked. Ice was plentiful. I was able to do laundry at this motel. .
