Decided to stay at Blue Gables Motel because we really don't care for the big hotels. The moment we walked into the office, the owner greeted us as if we were long lost family. The motel is all little log cabins, but everything is modern. We so enjoyed our night and slept like babies. If you are passing through Buffalo,... More

We plan our vacation so to be able to stay at Blue Gables Motel. The cabin was clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We appreciated the grill and picnic table area where we could grill and enjoy the beautiful evening. A nice pool was available which we did not use.

You get your own little cabin! Everything is older, but it's reasonable. Gravel driveway if you're motorcycle bound, no breakfast, but great coffee and packaged muffins. One of our beds had obviously not been changed but the owner came over and did it himself. Also had to fix our cable. For ice, you go to the office and get it... More

I've stayed at the Blue Gables several times on the way to Sturgis, Jim and Karen are great host and very accommodating. Cabins are rustic but very clean, the pool area is a great place to relax after a long day of riding or driving. Very quiet at night and just a couple of blocks from historic downtown. Wouldn't think... More

We stayed here with our young children in a two room cabin. The rates were affordable, the rooms nice, and the pool welcoming. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

There were 5 of us on a bike trip. Blue Gables provided nice tidy cabins, a pool, and a fire pit where we enjoyed the evening exchanging stories with our neighbours by the fire late into the night. It only gets better than this when you are camping. Great place!

Searching for a family reunion site for 50+ folks in Buffalo, WY - we found this place by accident when driving by. Jim, the owner, greeted us and was extremely helpful in determining if this property would work. Besides, cabins for couples & families with kids, we need a central place to cook out, eat, sit around watching the fire... More

We arrived later than we anticipated, just before 10:00 p.m. and received a warm welcome from the proprietress. Our room was cute as can be, L-shaped with one bed in each leg of the L. There was a microwave and fridge and two pretty blue chairs that we would have enjoyed had we arrived a bit earlier. The pool was... More

We were driving from Oregon to Michigan and found ourselves in Buffalo at the time for dinner and bed... there is one strip with all of the chains (econo this and budget that and holiday something else) but we'd had enough of those. We found this place down at the next stop light. It was cheap enough, cozy and comfortable... More
