Richard and Patty are so kind. This is an amazing place to go and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The horses are well behaved. I would have no reservations about letting someone with no experience ride them, plus a rancher is always with you. The cattle drives are amazing if you plan your trip at... More

Firstly I spent a long time researching Ranches in Wyoming and Montana, my main aim was to get as many hours in the saddle each day, as I could and to experience a cattle drive, among amazing scenery. I emailed Richard at Klondike and he was quick with his response, and happily answered all of my questions. As a woman... More

After planning this vacation and waiting for it to arrive for more than a year, I can say that this was well worth waiting for. On our arrival, we were a bit let down by the appearance of the ranch, but realize now that it simply is the way a real ranch looks! Once we met Richard, Patty and John... More

My husband and I chose Klondike with the help of out travel agent for our honeymoon. John is an excellent tour guide and horseman and we enjoyed our daily rides with him and Zander. The horses are well trained and know their jobs with the cattle. Klondike is a working ranch which is exactly what we were looking for! Moving... More

This is a very nice ranch. The owners Richard and Patty are really great people. Patty is a wonderful cook and there is plenty of food. Richard is so interesting with the stories of the ranch history. Since I'm a western history buff I really enjoyed the day with Patty and the history tour of the Buffalo and Sheridan area.... More

Our 3rd trip to the ranch. Genuine working ranch. Lovely family consisting of Patti and Richard the owners, son John and his 2 children who are well mannered and brilliant entertainment and never stop talking. Three cooked meals a day cooked by Patti. You will never starve! The horses are brilliant for riders and non-riders alike. We love it there... More

We stayed here, my husband and myself, for 1 week, could of stayed for many more. There were 5 other guests this week, all of us from England. We all came into Klondike from different places. We flew to Denver then onto Sheridan after a couple of days sightseeing in Denver. Richard came to collect us from Sheridan and met... More

My husband, 15yr old daughter and I spent the most amazing 10 days at Klondike Ranch under the wonderful care of the Tass family and their staff. There aren't many holidays you can share with teenagers but this was definitely or best one so far. My husband I were quite novice riders compared to or daughter but everyone felt very... More

My wife and I stayed at the Klondike Ranch for a week in July. It was amazing. Richard and Patty welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. They are honest, hard working people. The kind of people the world needs more of. Unfortunately, Patty cooked all our meals for us. I say that because neither my wife nor... More
