After accommodating a local rancher (ZK Davis Ranch) whose VRBO we had rented through Sunday night, but they wanted to book in a guided client starting that night, our family left the ranch a night earlier than we had paid for and stayed here at Z Bar for three more nights while they filled their elk tags. The cabin here was very clean and comfortable and the owners had no problem with my family plugging in our freezer (in a trailer that had other game in it) and cleaning the additional elk outside on our own table for no extra cost. The rate ended up being less per person than the ranch, which we now regret as the owner there (Kim Davis) is refusing to refund the extra night we paid for, claiming we would’ve paid more at a hotel and that things she said were no charge like hanging game to clean, fishing on the property and eating food left at the house were probably worth that. What a horrible way to treat a cash paying customer. Needless to say we will not be staying at the Davis Ranch again, but instead staying here at Z Bar Cabins, I know we will be back for sure! Thank you Z Bar for being so accommodating to hunters, HONEST, and fairly priced!

These folks are quite possibly some of the nicest around. They do not price gouge during high tourist seasons. They are extremely helpful and love giving directions/suggestions. They truly want their guests to feel at home.

Great stay at our go-to place before Yellowstone (we're from the midwest...) Very clean, comfortable, and roomy. This time we had breakfast in town and enjoyed the few hours more we spent in the area. The Z-Bar is very good value, Everything worked great (wifi, tv, frig) and best shampoo I've encountered in all my travels. Always leave with big smiles on our faces, refreshed and ready to travel the Big Horns. Thank you for such reliable accommodation.

Z Bar cabins is a perfect, pet friendly, clean place to stay. We stayed in cabin 25, the place was clean, beds are comfy, the outside was clean. Its close to town and not far from the Big Horns. We will definitely be back next year, and we highly recommend Z Bar.

We chose Z Bar Cabins because of good reviews and its central location for our three day stay in Buffalo, and were not disappointed. The chalets are basic but clean and tidy and well-maintained. No breakfasts on offer, but plenty of nearby breakfast facilities. We had two chalets next to each other with room to park the car between, and the common green in the middle offered tables and seats to complement the benches outside the chalets. The good weather and the reasonable price for accommodation made this an enjoyable experience.
