The owner, Charles and his Wife, are the most awesome people! They have dogs so they know how people and their pets can be. This little gem sit in town but you would never know it....Its quiet and lovely. They even have a place to get together with a bbq and lights and tables and chairs. They have cabins and... More

We stayed here for one night. The cabin was cute and very rustic, and the owners are really nice. The price is very cheap, but I found it a little rough around the edges. It was not as clean as I would have liked, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Lovely, family owned motel and cottages. We stayed in the largest cottage (main room with bed, kitchen, bathroom; separate room with bunkbeds and twin bed). Nicely setup. Beds were dated, but the place was clean. Well priced (late August).

70 year old cabins, updated with the most modern conveniences and touches. Wonderful granite countertops and updated modern bathroom with rain showerhead and granite, marble, onyx tiling. The room provides a small refrigerator with a full freezer section, pots and pans, cooking utensils, flatware and plates, bowls, etc. Flatscreen TV and satellite service, Wi-fi and a very comfortable bed. Travelling across USA from west to east, we had stayed at 10 hotels / motels. This motel was the best so far. The owner was helpful, the room clean and stocked with everything you needed for the night. everything worked and the wifi was also good. WE have stayed at more expensive places and the wifi was useless or none... More

The room was alright, not wonderful but clean. However the bathroom was a nightmare. While the tile is newer, it is awful to walk on a wet floor the entire time your there. Trying to keep your drawers dry while sitting on the potty is awful. The doors do not securely shut or lock when in use. The raised rim... More

It's within walking distance to the Occidental Hotel. However, it's not a good place for RVs as a campground. Don't know about the cabins. It is more of a trailer park than campground with long term rentals, little maintenance and distinctive oders.

It may look a little rough from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised and glad we chose to stay here. I was originally drawn to this place because of the price, $55 for a cabin to ourselves for the night while the hotels in town were over 100. We were pleasantly surprised when we found a nicely remodeled old... More

I found the cabins to be pristine and tastefully updated with hardwood floors, cut stone in the bathroom, large modern refrigerators, flat screen cable TV. The grounds are well kept with plenty of shade in the common areas where one can bbq outside under the tree branches and stars. The staff are quite friendly including the hosts who are most... More

I have good things to say about this place and not so good things so I'll start with the good. Good: It's very close to downtown, the city park and the Clear Creek Trail so if that's important to you to be near those places you will be happy. There are also a lot of large, mature trees so there's... More
