This motel is very clean and located just off the main drag, it's quiet and peaceful and the owner is the sweetest lady I have ever met! We bring our family here multiple times a year because of the friendly service and cleanliness of the motel! It's become our home away from home. I prefer staying here even compared to the wilderness because it is more laid back and all around a better environment. Very happy, keep up the good work!

Just got back from the dells for Spring Break 2005...(mom/dad..and 2 high school kids).....We stayed at a motel on the strip that is ALSO owned by the Winderness Folks........Fields Park Motel....715 Broadway--- ----....For $99 a nite (AAA discount)...(or $109 without), we got a family suite that slept 6...(mom and dad even got our own separate bedroom :) !with a fridge and microwave. With every night we stayed we were given 4 all-access passes to the waterpark at the wilderness resort......Tammy and Stan in the office were awesome....we saved hundreds of dollars staying here.....We cant wait to get back there this summer !!!!!!

We have stayed at the Fields Park Motel numerous times over the last three to four years. The hotel is always very clean. The location is great as it is within walking distance to downtown Dells. The price is excellent. If you are on a budget, you can't beat the free passes to Wilderness that are included. This is the main reason we have come back all these years as the kids love to go to the waterpark. Another big plus is the manager. She is extremely sweet and more than willing to help you out with whatever your needs may be. Would definitely recommend!

Made reservations thru Booking.com for December 31st 2021, almost 2 months in advance. Emailed the hotel directly about reservations… all good. December 30th at 11pm, I check emails before bed and at 9:19pm, I have an email that they are canceling our reservations due to issues with waterpark passes and water. This was at 9:19pm the night before our stay. Stuff all packed, food bought for stay, little kids went to bed all excited for the next day. This was Totally unacceptable. Don’t tell me they didn’t know before 9:19pm the night before of “waterpark pass issues” Had my son home from Army for HBL, and this was his Xmas wish, to spend time with his family at the Wilderness. We always stay on the property at wilderness in March, but with Holiday, didn’t want to spend $1800 for 2 rooms, opted for this route… big mistake! And then after emailing back that 9:19pm the night before was not ok, they responded, they had emailed me prior. Well, not only do I NOT delete emails for at least 6 months, booking.com keeps record of all communications and THEY DID NOT email prior. Try calling the phone #’s and u get “call can not be completed as the party is unavailable.” This is the 2nd strike for this hotel… NEVER AGAIN. Crappy people who do not care for their customers!! Spend the xtra $ if it’s for the Wilderness and stay on property (don’t in a holiday, prices are crazy)

After staying here for the past 6 years we won’t be back, it went from being a decent place to stay to not very pleasant. Walked into the room and the smell of mildew slaps you in the face, floors were not the cleanest, bathroom sink had hair in it, the toilet paper roll was previously used, beer bottle caps on the floor near the bed, housekeeping only came the first night we stayed there and then never came back so we never got fresh towels or a clean garbage. The dresser was broken and the drawer wouldn’t open, along with the sink faucet knob was completely cracked in half. The box springs on the beds were also filthy. If your staying here just for the water park wristbands it’s not worth it do yourselves a favor and stay elsewhere.

When we arrived we were given a first floor room, we went to the room and there was a man standing directly in front of the door smoking marajuana. We were a bit uncomfortable with that so we went and requested a different room, the clerk asked us why and we told her. She said oh it must be the same ones that were just in here, they reeked of pot, we had to open the door to get the smell out. But she wasn’t concerned about illegal marajuana smoking on the property.
Got our new room keys, went up the stairs and passed a couple on the landing of the steps, smoking pot. Starting to see a pattern. We left for the day and when we returned after supper, we wanted to sit outside and have a cocktail, but again interrupted by the strong odor of marajuana coming from the people sitting by the table in the hallway.
Went went in and just after falling asleep, we were woken by the people in the next room fighting and arguing. This went on from midnight until 3 am. Tried to call the front desk and no one answered. Got dressed went and looked and there was an after hours number posted. Called the number and went to voicemail. So if you have issues after 10 pm, you are on your own until 10 am when the office reopens!
When checking out we noticed the sign on the door that said no marajuana smoking IN the rooms. So this clearly isn’t their first complaint about illegal pot smoking. Too bad they allow it on the property! There were also some pretty sketchy characters hanging around after dark. Saw one guy stop his car, jump out and quickly grab a small backpack from a guy in the room below us , then speed away. I’m sure it was just his swimwear in the backpack..(sarcasm)!
We won’t be back.
I’m not comfortably with illegal substances allowed on the property, or the lack of security after hours,

This place was the worst place i have stayed in the dells. I don't even know where to begin. When first entering our room it smelled really heavy of smoke when asked about it they told us normally it's fine after airing room out with window open. But the screen on window was rip. The table in the room was so gross and sticky. Sheets on the bed didnt look clean at all. Fridge didn't get any of our stuff cold. The cleaning service left trash sitting on the floor, guess thats their idea of changing the trash. When turning in keys and telling our problems they could of gave us one of our night stay off our bill or change our rooms for us if they had opening rooms. Instead they only gave $6.72 off our stay. Wouldnt refer them to anyone and won't be back there.

I stayed at Field's last night, 9/16/05 and I had a horrible experience. Checkout was at 10am, so I decided to eat at their restaurant after I checked out. After leaving the restaurant at 10:45, I realized my car was gone. I went into the Fields motel to see if they knew anything, and a woman named Tammy mentioned that they had towed my car. She made it sound like I was guilty because I had the car parked in there lot after the 10am checkout. When I went to get my car back, which costed $100, there was a ticket inside that showed a time of 10:24 am, 24 minutes after I checked out. I warn you to not stay at this motel, because they do not value there customers.

This place has terrible service. There never seems to be anyone in the motel office. Call during the day and you get a voicemail. I tried calling for 2 hours and nothing but voicemail. Made the big mistake of booking a room for a weekend. Was charged more than the price I was told over the phone. Also couldn't check in at 10am as "the room wasn't ready" even though they said early checkin is 10am. Came back later from the waterpark to checkin at 7pm to find out the office was already closed (was suppose to be open until 11pm). In the morning while checking out, the girl in the office received a personal phone call and actually talked on her cell phone for about 5 minutes while I waited. Terrible terrible customer service skills. Not worth the headache of saving a few bucks. Just stay at the Wilderness.

Is there dates on the wristbands? How does Wilderness know you're staying there?
Answer from Holly P
Rockford, Illinois86 contributions43 helpful votes
you get vouchers that you have to take to the front desk at the Wilderness. they will then give you wristbands I do believe they have dates on them, but as long as you're wearing a wristband nobody checks the date.
Answer from Holly P
Rockford, Illinois86 contributions43 helpful votes
Best bet is to check the website. However I don't think there is any price change even if you decline the waterpark passes.
Answer from Park M
Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
You are unable to buy tickets to the Wilderness resort without booking a room at Field's Park Motel or at the Wilderness itself. However, each room at Field's Park Motel comes with up to 4 free wristbands to the Wilderness resort. These wristbands are good for each day that you stay at the motel. For this reason, staying at Field's Park Motel is the most cost-effective way to experience the Wilderness resort.
