Good place for base location when visiting the dells. Short driving to several water parks and restaurants. Walk across to Mt Olympus. We had a class A and did full hookup. Asphalt pad, fire pit and picnic table on your site. No bugs, good play park for kids.We are scheduling for next season!

I felt the owners were very nice, the campground was clean, the pool was clean and warm. Plenty of room in the campsites for our camper. We do not have children, but, there were lots of things for children. The bounce pad was a hit with all the kids that were around. Prices were decent for our stay.

My family of 7 spent 3 nights in a regular cabin, it was newer and sufficiently clean. Most of the pictures shown are of a "deluxe cabin" which has a screened in porch, futon and full range. The regular cabins do not. They have a twin mattress "daybed" and 2 burner cook top. Which was fine but the pictures are kind of misleading. Plqyground is much older and run down than pics show. Bouncing pillow was a hit and directly across the street from our cabin which was great. Pool was big and clean. Mini golf course was so overgrown I laughed. Laundry was dirty and overpriced. Also, a quarter machine would have been nice. Staff is nice and accommodating. We booked the Stay and Play but did not get to use it and they refunded that portion that we paid.. DO NOT do Stay n Play! Only one employee knows how to issue tickets and she wasn't in the office every time we tried to get tickets. "Their "discounted" tickets are only for Noah's Ark and Timbavati, and are only a discount for adults. The kids tickets are cheaper directly from the attraction online. Also, you can get coupons all over the dells area at a gas station, hotel or other attractions and you'll end up saving more money with coupons than what you save with stay and play. Overall you get what you pay for here, so if you remember that going into it you'll be satisfied with your experience.

Its been a shi**y stay at a shi**y campground. As we cooked breakfast, we started noticing some terrible smells. The septic system of the campground started backing up and flowing out of the full hookup onto our camp sites. We literally had a lake of shi*. We scurried to try and minimize damage to our stuff. We let the staff know, but they just said "That happens sometimes". No one came to our sites to assess, help, apologize, or anything. We even had to actually ask/demand to be moved to new sites. It took us several hours to move/clean/sanitize the shi* off all of our stuff, nit to mention missing out on a whole day of vacation plans. They did not clean up the sites or rope them off to keep kids out. Contaminated sites and nothing was done.. There will be things we will obviously need to replace, but we were offered no sort of refund or even asked if we need help with moving or cleanup. But I did hear that they offered a free pack of firewood. 😆 🤣

Tryed to get a Rv site June 6, 2021 at 5:00 pm. 2 ladies were sunbathing and couldn’t bother to get up and wait on us. Finally one lost the toss and came over. We left. Another party left also and said they were rude people.

Bonanza Camping Resort is one of the best places to work in the Dells. They have very warm and welcoming staff members who are always willing to teach you about the daily operations of the business. I would recommend Bonanza to anyone who wants to work for a company that pays great attention to their workers.

I only write reviews when I feel a business REALLY DESERVES IT. My family and I went camping at Bonanza Campground July 31st - August 2nd. We had a few hangups to begin with. They are short-staffed so please keep your confirmation number upon booking online because you may not be able to call and reach anyone for verification. We only had an option to purchase a site without electricity. We upgraded to an electric/water site so that was a simple enough fix. The person who made me want to write this review was an employee named Rocco. This man lives and breathes customer service for Bonanza Campground. He assisted me with an unexpected issue and said that he wanted to make sure that my family would be able to enjoy our vacation weekend with the least amount of stress possible. Rocco genuinely care about people and will bend over backwards for the campers at Bonanza. At one point, I even saw him at a neighboring campsite, giving them pointers to start their fire. I would also like to mention that the kids really enjoyed the DJ at the pool and the play area for the kids - complete with a jump pad! Rocco makes Bonanza Campground the place to be!! Thank you, Rocco! We all appreciated your efforts and wanted you to know that they did not go unnoticed!

I’ve been staying at this campground each year for over 10 years. I stayed here in July and was very disappointed and will never come back. We checked in and went to our site to find it disgusting with garbage. I informed the manager and asked to be moved to a different site. The site I asked for she told me was taken so I went back to talk to my family about what other site we’d like. My husband then went to talk to her and magically the site we wanted was showing available (we checked in on a Sunday and 2 full rows of campsites were empty so no idea why she originally told me it was unavailable). She also said that she will have someone clean up the sites. We stayed 2 nights and nobody ever picked up the sites that were littered with garbage. The bathrooms were disgusting and were not cleaned for the 2 nights/3days we were there. The garbages in the stalls were full of feminine products and not disposed of at all. We also were told they had Noah’s ark tickets available for $20. We emailed and called and asked about this deal, each time we were told to purchase these when we arrive and they had plenty of tickets. We arrived at 1:30 (check in was 1:00) and were told they were sold out of the 1 day passes. We mentioned that we had emailed and called about these tickets (we offered to pay for these when we booked the sites but she said no and that we just buy them when we arrive). She only had 2 day passes available for $30 each. We had 2 campsites and 8 people so this was an additional $80 out of our pocket but they did not care and just said they were sold out of 1 day passes. So we ended up buying the 2 day passes which we could only use for 1 day (Noah’s ark was closed on Tuesdays). Too bad this place went downhill, been coming here for years and will never come back.

Bonanza RV Resort is located within walking distance of quite a few attractions in the Dells. The camping cottages seem fairly new and are in good shape. They offer a camping experience without the work of camping. The only drawback was that it wasn't super clean (floors not cleaned, the refrigerator still had milk from the prior camper and wasn't wiped out) and there was no cookware in the unit. However, the onsite manager was extremely helpful and accommodating and made sure we got what we needed and even let us use her personal frying pan.

Worst camping experience ever! Not only did they break the window of our friend's truck while mowing the grass and refused to accept financial responsibility, their sewage backed up while trying to dump and spilled raw sewage over our entire campsite. Again they refused to accept responsibility, when notified about the problem had an attitude stating that it was because everyone was dumping at the same time and it was not their fault. In addition there were no apologies or even acting as if they were sorry. We will never return, and recommend no one else stays at this campground. Especially for the amount of money they are charging per night for a campsite which is incredibly small.
